Is the ipod bluetooth compatible

is the ipod bluetooth compatible?

Hello dwmesquire,
Only the iPod Touch models have Bluetooth capabilities (although it has limited profiles to work with).  There are also a couple of Bluetooth dongles that can be used to add the functionality to other iPod models such as the Nano.

No, the iPod classic has no means of connecting to Wi-Fi, thus making it incompatible with iCloud.

Any headphone with 3.5 mm plug will work.

  • Is the ipod nano compatible with the bose sounddock??

I have a bose sounddock for my mini and i want to get a nano really bad. I am worried the nano might not work with my sounddock. so????

Wow, I actually tried using that adapter that comes in the Nano's box. Yes, it works, but it's designed to snap into anything designed with this up-and-coming universal dock. The adapter doesn't exactly fit into the Bose Sounddock.
I keep my Mini adapter in the Sounddock, and it looks fine. However, as the connector is the only thing supporting the Nano backward-and-forward, you have to support the back of the Nano as you use the clickwheel.

  • Ipod classic compatible with Vista Home Premium 64 bit

    Hi,
Is the Ipod Classic compatible with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit?
I found out the hard way that the Itouch is not!
    Greetings,
    Miguel

If I could I would answer your question.
But I do not know how I did that.
Itunes has been working since day 1 on my 64 bit machine, only problem is that it takes half a minute to copy album cover art to song in itunes, the computer is hanging for 15 seconds before the album cover art is copied.
I just took the Ipod out of the box and connected it to the computer and it worked fine.
Only problem that I had yesterday is that when I'm intergrating album cover art my hard disk is doing strange things.
Just yesterday, my RAID 1 was corrupted by Itunes, first hard disk 1 was failing and an hour later hard disk 2 also crashed.
Was able to reconnect them into RAID 1, luckilly.

  • IPOD Bluetooth Wireless Adapter

I have the IPOD Bluetooth Wireless Model RF-MBT30 Rocket Fish adapter and a Rocketfish RF-QX3 Ear PIece.  According the Best Buy salesman these two should work together with my IPOD Nano 3rd generation.   So far I have been able to get them to find each other.  Any suggestions?

It says the adapter should automatically find the bluetooth headpiece.   The headpiece is going through its request like it is trying to pair with a phone.  It wants a code, but there is no way to enter a code from the IPOD.  Janet

I have an older iPod nano - model PA477LL version 1.1.3  It was a gift and I haven't begun using it until now.  I've looked in the menu and can't really tell - Is it bluetooth compatible?

    Hey taralynn179,
It sounds like you have an iPod nano (2nd generation). Bluetooth 4.0 was introduced with the iPod nano (7th generation). For more information, you can check out the tech specs for your device:

  • Is the ipod nano 6th generation 8 or 16gb compatible with blue tooth/coordless earphones?

Is the 6th generation ipod nano (any gb) compatible with bluetooth/coordless headphones?

No.  As it does not have any bluetooth or wireless hardware built in. There are bluetooth dongles available though that add the bluetooth hardware and functionality.

  • Is the apple watch compatible with iPod touch

I Know the apple watch is compatible with iPhone but what about iPod touch? Would it work with Bluetooth?

I do know that it will work with the iPhone 5 and later, and I doubt that Apple wouldn't make the Apple Watch compatible with the iPod Touch. The fact that the Apple Watch will be able to make calls concerns me. You can not make calls on the iPod Touch with any built-in app, so that might make the iPod Touch excluded from being compatible with the Apple Watch. I am almost one hundred percent sure that IF the Apple Watch is compatible with the iPod Touch it will only be compatible with the 5th generation.
