Is the iSO6 upgrade compatible with the iPhone 4?

Is the new iSO6 upgrade compatible with the iPhone 4 or is it going to cause problems with it?

If your life depends on Google maps and Google YouTube then you should not upgrade.
Otherwise you get http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/

Is The new IOS6 compatible with the iPad first generation

No, not the 1st gen iPads... The new iOS 6 will run on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5; the iPad 2 and third-generation iPad; and the fourth- and fifth-generation iPod touch.

Is the apple watch compatible with the iPod touch 5

The only thing Apple has said is that it needs an iPhone to be fully functional.  Nothing about any other device.

  • Is the Logic app compatible with the Digi002 interface?

Does anyone know if the App is compatible with the Digi002?  I'm using Lion.
I downloaded it in February and it wouldn't connect to my mbox2. Want to try again but don't want to pay if it's not going to work.
    Thanks

You downloaded it in February? From where?
Logic will connect with any device that has compatible core audio drivers or is "system compliant" with core audio.
If your mBox2 wouldn't connect it's because the Avid core audio drivers are not 100% Lion compatible.
As I recall the audio side of the Avid drivers will work but the Avid core audio MIDI driver needs to be upgraded, the current ones cause a MIDI timeout.
Someone with a Digi002 will have to answer but I suspect the same problem you had with the mBox2 might occur.

  • FYI!!! Not 1 FM modulator on the market is compatible with the iPhone!!!!

Well I just wasted my whole day and ****** off everyone in customer service (returning FM Mods) trying to find one that would work, and guess what... THERE IS NOT ONE OUT THERE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE iPHONE. So I have 13 days to return my phone for a refund, so I’m giving Apple 12 days to fix this problem. Really, if Apple is going to have a $700 part time phone/part time iPod they can keep it. I'll gladly go back to my SLVRL7 and call it a day. How in the world (it’s 2007) do you not release a FM modulator compatible with the iPhone?? Don’t tell me they’re worried about losing money, this is a $700.00 phone, not everyone is going to stop buying iPods… I just don’t get it. It does bother me that I now have to buy a new FM Mod, but not even a 1/6th as much as it bothers me that Apple didn't release one, I mean they only had a couple of years to design one.
I at least hope this keeps someone from wasting their day.
Brands I’ve tried. (several versions of each)
    Monster
    Griffin
    Belkin
    Couple other generic brands

    1. Apple never released any of the iPods with FM receivers. 3rd party companies do.
    2. Apple posted their iPhone specs long before it was released. Did you bother to even read the spec page? I know you must have because no one would blindly spend "$700" on a product.
    3. All 3rd party FM tuners are made after the iPod was released (at least to be compatible with the current known generation.
    4. The iPhone was released a few days ago. Try giving 3rd party companies some time?

  • Is the IdeaCentre K450 compatible with the GTX 970?

By comptabile I mean, of course, will the graphics card fit in the board? Specifically I have the K450, Machine type: 10120, Config number: 57323871.
Or to make it simpler, I have this board: ( http://flash.newegg.com/Product/N82E16883266696?icid=SE_83-266-696 )
Note that's not my exact PC, but the board seems to be exactly the one I have, only some differences (mine came with 12GB instead of 8GB RAM, for example, etc.)
My main concern being the size of the GeForce GTX 970. The lenght shouldn't be an issue since there's plenty of space below the drive bays, but because it's dual width I'm concerned if the card will be in conflict with where the heat sink down there is located. Essentially if the card passes over it, that's fine, but I'm not sure if that heat sink will actually obstruct the card and not allow it to fit in place, That link I posted has images of the mother board and said heat sink. I intend to upgrade the PSU as well (due to the GPU's requirements), but I'm unsure if this card will even fit in there?

    Hey there Punk Phil,
It sounds like you are wanting to know if the Universal Dock is compatible with your iPod. If you are referring to the iPod Touch 4th gen, then yes according to this article it is:
    Learn about Apple Universal Dock
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1380
The Apple Universal Dock includes five Dock Adapters that fit iPhone 4 and 4S, iPhone 3G and 3GS, iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations), and iPod nano 5th generation. Dock adapters for other iPhone or iPod models are sold separately.  For a complete list of products that can be docked with the Apple Universal Dock, see the table below.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,

  • Is the Canon MF3010 compatible with the Macbook Pro (Mountain Lion 10.8.3)?

A recently bought Canon MF3010 laser printer does not seem to be compatible with my Macbook Pro (10.8.3). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to work? It's not listed in supported software on the site and I tried downloading and intalling some software recently available on the Canon site, but that's not working either.

The MF v10.0.0 driver available from Canon works fine on OS X 10.8.
As for it not being listed in the supported software, if you are referring to the Apple KB article then that is just a list of what drivers are available from Apple. It's not a "only these drivers are supported" list.
So assuming you downloaded and installed the MF v10.0.0 driver, what exactly is not working? Have been able to add the printer but it does not print? Or are you not even able to add the printer?

  • Is the new imac compatible with the dell v313w printer for wireless connection?

Is the new iMac compatible via wireless connection with the Dell V313W printer?

    Hi Sara!
I got an email refering me to your post.  Ok, www.MacMall.com is a US website that sells Apple products.  I bought my iMac&printer through their website and worked with their customer service department to get my iMac communicating with the Dell V313W printer.  They have people that will take calls any time-any day at phone number 1-800-622-6255.  The other option since you are in France would be to contact a local Apple dealer...or see if they have an authorized dealer in Europe that could help.  I purchased the Apple Care Support contract with the iMac but they were unable to help since they weren't familiar with the Dell printer.
As I mentioned in my previous post the things we tried were: 1) If I remember right... I downloaded the Dell V313W printer driver from the Dell website then connected the iMac to the printer via the USB cable and established communication. I then disconnected the cable and 2) I moved the iMac and printer closer to my wireless router then 3) I turned on "Printer Sharing" on the iMac - I think this is a critical step...to do this go to System Preferences > Hardware > Print&Scan.  In the window that opens make sure the box is checked that says "Share this printer on the network" then go to the "Sharing Preferences..." box and check the "Printer Sharing" and "Scanner Sharing" boxes in the window that opens.  When I did all this the iMac went through it's routine to find the printer and the connection was finally established!
One more thing, make sure if your wireless router is locked for security that you enter the correct password when prompted...this might have been one of my problems also!
    Hope this helps.
    All the best,
    mw

  • Is the ipod nano compatible with the bose sounddock??

I have a bose sounddock for my mini and i want to get a nano really bad. I am worried the nano might not work with my sounddock. so????

Wow, I actually tried using that adapter that comes in the Nano's box. Yes, it works, but it's designed to snap into anything designed with this up-and-coming universal dock. The adapter doesn't exactly fit into the Bose Sounddock.
I keep my Mini adapter in the Sounddock, and it looks fine. However, as the connector is the only thing supporting the Nano backward-and-forward, you have to support the back of the Nano as you use the clickwheel.
