Is the "Lead Time" available in CRM?

Hello,
I need the "Lead Time" for products available in CRM, but I am not a logistics expert. Does anyone know if and how the lead-time can be retrieved?
Behind "Lead-Time" is a quite huge caluculation process and it would be great if anyone knows a transaction or more important a function module, which already handles everything? IN the best case a module in CRM otherwise directly ERP.
Thank you for any help,
Regards,
Andreas

Hi,
This component is not available in Multisim, however you can use the Component Wizard in order to create a custom component.
Here is a tutorial on component creation:

I hope this helps.

  • Is there any method to stop rescheduling of the PO Need By date from ATP if there is any holiday specified in shipping calender. The requirement is to update the schedule ship date on Sales Order but the lead time of  Purchase Order should not increase

We are currently not able to manage schedule ship date proposed by ATP when our warehouse is closed. For example , we would like that ATP doesn't propose any schedule ship date for the first of May , which is a non working day in France. The constraint is that we don't want our purchase need by date to be impacted by the process.
I tried to closed one day in FR1 calendar and, after testing with order management, it appears that ATP didn't propose the closed day, so that's fine, but, our purchase order lead time was increased of 1 day and this is not what we expected.
Can you help us to find the right process.
    Thanks

  • What is the maeaninf of lead time offset in BOM

Can anybodye xplain me the maeaning of lead time offset in BOM

    Hi,
In situations where orders have long lead times, this scheduling procedure can result in components being provided much earlier than they are actually needed in the production process. To avoid this situation, the dependent requirements date of the subordinate component can be rescheduled by the follow-up time. With the follow-up time the dependent requirements date of the components is displaced from the order start date further into the future.
The lead-time offset (in workdays) for the component in relation to the start date for production of the superior assembly. This value is not included in lead-time scheduling for a task list.
Displacing the Dependent Requirements Date in the Future
If you have entered a positive value in the bill of material, the dependent requirements date of the component is displaced in the future, starting from the order start date of the assemblyu2019s planned order.
Order start date of the assembly: 11.30.1999
    Lead-time offset: 2+
Dependent requirements date of the component: 12.02.1999
Bringing Forward the Dependent Requirements Date
If you have entered a negative value, the dependent requirements date will be brought forward.
Order start date of the assembly: 11.30.1999
    Lead-time offset: 2-
Dependent requirements date of the component: 11.28.1999

  • Production lead time report

    Hi,
Given below mateiral with their lead time activity
Material A- Finish (in house prodn)
    100 qty = 10 days
    Low level in BOM
    X- Halb (2 days)
    Y-Roh (10 days)
    Z-Traded goods (2 days)
Is there any report available which provide the information, if i want to plan mateiral (finish) with what period it is possible to fulfill the customer requirement. Considering all procurement and production activity.

    Hi Rajesh,
There is no standard report available for the leading time of FG with BOM multi levels. You can go for a Z report.

  • Total replenish lead time

    Hi gurus,
anyone can explain why this field (total replenish lead time) is designed to enter manually instead of system automatically calculate from BOM for a manufactured part? and how does it work according to the following scenario:
product X is produced in plant=1000 from material A and B (both A and B are procured externally for plant 1000, to simplify the case)
in plant 1000, PO processing time=1day
A: planned del.time=3 days, GR. processing time=1 day.
B: planned del.time=5 days, GR. processing time=1 day.
to make X need 2 operation: 1st operation need 1 day to assemble A and B together, after assembling, 2nd operation need 1 day to paint, 1 day to dry
what's the total replenish lead time we should enter for X?
    thanks,
    cookie

    Dear Cookie
3.if it's only for availability check, does that mean the MRP would not be affected by this field, then what would be the lead time feed into MRP? what's the relationship between MRP and availability check? why they use 2 different sets of data?
    1) MRP will not take this field into Account for Calculating Dates
    2) MRP for in-house materials - in-house production time & GR Procesing time ( Lead time )
3 ) For external Procured materials - PR processing time , Planned delevery time & GR Processing time
    4) MRP Net Req. Calculation Concept is different from Availbility check Concept

  • Shipping point - Lead time

Based on shipping point and route can we set the lead time for pick/pack time and load time.
In our case we have shipping point 1000. For this shipping point - 1000 based on the ship to party destination zone 5 routes can be determine.
    Letu2019s say R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5
I need to maintain 2 days additional lead time for pick/pack time and load time only fot the route R1. If I maintained the lead time for pick/pack and load time as 2 days under shipping point 1000 this lead time will be applicable to all the 5 routes.
In my case this lead time 2 days will be taken into account for only when the route R1 determined for the shipping point 1000.
PS: This R1 is determined based on the shipping conditions maintained for the customers in customer master.
Please suggest how to achieve this functionality.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the response.
The reason why I canu2019t maintain the extra lead time for R1 is for this route customer is arranging the carrier on his own. Since company is not arranging the carrier we cannot maintain the transit time at route level.
The idea behind the whole process is for some customers carrier is taking care by themselves. Customer raises sales order through EDI there only requested delivery date is being maintained by the customer. Based on the req. delivery date material available date and load time will be determined (for this process we had not maintained any lead time for mat. Availability and load time) so system is taking the delivery date as the mat availability date and load time. The confusion lies here. If the req delivery date given by the customer is 05/20/2009 mat avil date and load time is also the same 05/20/2009. But the customer wants the goods in his warehouse on 05/20/2009 so our customer service reps are manually back date the req delivery date in the order to 05/17/2009 ( the difference 3 days consider the customer to arrange the carrier and the goods to be available on his choice). As we back date in the order from 05/20/2009 to 05/17/2009 so the material ava date and loading time would also be 05/17/2009. By doing this planning can be done and makesure material will reach customer on 05/20/2009/
Pls let me know if you have any questions
    Thanks.

  • Positive lead time

    Hello,
in PP customizing, Shop floor control - operations - scheduling - define scheduling parameters for production order:
In adjust dates, i have: do not adjust basic dates, dep.reqmts to order start.
I need a positive lead time too. SAP don't permit it. WHYYY???
In our plant we need to increase several days the requirements date of material to receive the material several days after the beginning of the operation.
    How could i make this????
    THANK YOU ALL.

    Hi,
Generally the reqmts dates of the components is initially set to the order start date of the planned order to which the components are assigned.
--- if a component is reqd earlier or later we can shift the reqmts date using the lead time off set / operation related lead time off set in the Bom Item detail screen.
    Lead time off set:
if we make an entry in this field the reqmts date which is initially set order start date is moved.
    Only -ve values are allowed.
ie components must be available before the scheduled start date.
Lead time offset for an Operation:
if we make an entry in this field the reqmts date which is initially set to order start date of the operation to which the components are assigned is moved.
    +ve value -
components can be available after the start date of the operation.
    -ve value -
components must be available before the start date of the operation.
You need to maintain these fields in BOM Item details screen Basic data.

  • Re: report for lead time of material

    Dear Gurus,
I just want to know is there report to see the lead time of material. Kindly suggest me which is the t-code available
    Regards,
    Rajashekar

    Hi,
You can see the lead time in Report- MCE7 (T Code) for material analysis, here yo will get lead time delivery time of material as per Material group, Vendor, purchase Org. If you want to get material number ,after results displayed choose from menu settings > characteristic display > key & description (or just key) , then
choose from menu settings > column width and extend the length to e.g. 59 (18 material number + space + 40 description)An alternative way is building query  taking into consideration Table MARC. Thanking you.

  • Suitable Banking applications available in CRM module.

    Hi Gurus,
Recently I am working in a CRM project implemented in a domestic bank in India. My client is already using campaign management, lead management, opportunity management and activity management successfully.
My question is that what are the suitable applications available in CRM 7.0 EHP1 we can suggest to the bank such that those will come useful for them apart from CIC which is already in my mind. Kindly suggest me in an urgent basis.
    Regards,
    Roy.

    Hi Rocky,
You mentioned about the following processes -
    1. Campaign Management
    2. Lead
    3. Opportunity
    4. Activity
These functionalities are obviously available in CRM 7.0 EHP1 with extended features.  You can also think of going for SAP HANA to enhance the computation speed which ultimately will increase the performance of all the activities you do in SAP CRM.
For the sales people you can suggest the Mobile application with the available features like Activity, Lead, Opportunity, Customer Fact Sheet etc. These functionalities are available on android, windows devices.
    Hope this will be useful
    Thanks and Regards

  • ASCP Yield and Resource Lead Times

    Hi,
I am working on Advanced supply Chain Planning on R12. Both ERP Source and Planning are on different instances. We are also using Oracle Shop Floor Management. In the Network Routings we have included a lead time resources at step 10, 20, 30. The resources are as follows:
These resources are defined as 'Machine'
Resource for operation 10: ASSY-LT, 112 hours, Schedule 'yes'
Resource for operation 20: TEST-LT, 64 hours, Schedule 'yes'
Resource for operation 30: PACK-LT, 48 hours, Schedule 'yes'
We also have only one shift with 8 hours. The resources are not available for 24 hours.
We also have yield at each of the above operations.
Lead time rollup calculates 28 days for the item correctly.
We are encountering a problem with ASCP Plan. The start dates and yield calculations using constrained plan with Enforce Demand Due Dates constraint seems problematic. If we check 'Calculate Resource Requiremnents' option, the plan calculates yield but the lead time gets reduecd by one third and start and completion dates for a planned order (and ATP etc.) are not accurate.
If we uncheck 'Calculate Resource Requiremnents'option in the plan, lead times are accurate but plan does not calculate yield.
We are not sure what is causing the problem.
Does anybody know what options or profiles control this behaviour?
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,
important for your lead time calculation is the setup of the calendar and shifts and what shifts are assigned to the resource.
You say you do not have enabled the 'Available 24h' option. We are also using leadtime resources in certain cases, for example LT for Assembly. But in these cases we enable the 24H option. Next to this we set the Resource capacity to 'unlimited' by setting units to a very high number (1000 etc.) on resource level, to prevent that the system gets into capacity conflicts here.
And the yield calculation indeed should be quite independent of the leadtime resource.
    best regards,
    David.

  • Lead time in Vendor Evaluation

    Hi MM Gurus,
I want to add Replenishment Lead Time in Vendor Evaluation.Where from the lead time effects the scoring of a vendor in the vendor evaluation means the vendor evaluation also be based on Lead time?
Please give step by step procedure.....
    Points will be awarded.

    hi,
Lead time for processing u can mention in the Material master .
OR u can put it in inforecord also.
from that system will propose the planned delivery date in PO
with reference to this date and the actual GR posting date system will calculate the varience and gives points to the vendor.
i think if this is ur requirement then it is available in standard SAP functionality.
    regards,

  • Lead time calculation

    Dear Gurus,
I want to calculate lead time between purchase order and goods receipt.how to do that???
    Am having some doubts.
Does the lead time links with
    Planned Delivery Time
    Goods Receipt Processing Time
Purchasing Processing Time in material master. plz explain???

    Hi,
If you create PR for a material, using MRP, then the planned delivery time would be picked up from the material master, please note that there is no source maintained yet in the PIR, so obviously that rules out planned delivery time of PIR and Vendor Master( even when u convert this P.R to P.O the planned delivery time will not change and will not be taken from the PIR)
Now if you directly create a P.O then the planned delivery time of the PIR is picked up , please note this difference.
I would recommend that you change the planned delivery time in the material, mnake it different from the planned delivery time of the PIR, and then run MRP, You will see that the planned delivery time in the PR would be based on the material planned delivery time.
Even if you assign source and convert this P.O using ME59 the PDT will not change.
Then you can try and create a P.O directly with the vendor, here you will notice that the PDT flows from the info record.
Please let me know if this addresses your concern.
Regarding your soure list issue, either you can remove the source list mandatory tick in MM or add the vendor whose PIR you are using into ME01, and it will definitely work.

  • Lead time only optional

    Hello,
would like to setup lead time comming from catalog only as optional without check.
Now system is transfering lead time during creation of shopping cart. If the approval is not performed on the same day when shopping cart is created, system is issuing error message that delivery time is less that lead time.
    Any hint?
    TIA
    GOrdan

    Hi,
What is your SRM version?  I think the delivery date is re-calculated based on lead time.
For example, Lead Time 3 days.
SC create.  2008-03-20 -> Delivery date is set 2008-03-23
Manager Approval 2008-03-22 -> PO delivery date will be 2008-03-25
You may change the mesage to warning. Please check the Message Control customizing.
You can also clear the lead time by BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER.
