The process of transferring between the type of cellular data connection available at the time and between cellular data and an available wi-fi network and back again is automatic.
Cellular data access is not turned off when connected to an available wi-fi network and vice-versa. Visual voicemail messages are downloaded to the iPhone via a carrier's cellular data or internet network only even when the iPhone is connected to an available wi-fi network when not answering the phone and the caller leaves a voicmail.
If you want to turn cellular data off when the iPhone is connected to an available wi-fi network, you must turn Cellular Data off manually.
If you want to turn wi-fi off when the iPhone is not connected to an available wi-fi network, you must turn wi-fi access of manually.

When I installed the newest update it said some of the features were incompatible with this version of Firfox yet when Firfox starts it says I have the newest version.

I got a new update. I installed it and it said that some of the features were not installed because they incompatible with this version of Fire. I figured "Okay" and continued. When Firefox opened it said I have the "Newest" version. Great, then how come some of the features are not compatible with the "Newest" version. That makes no sense!

It is possible that because of changes made to firefox, some other software used with Firefox may no longer be compatibile (for example some toolbars) or it is possible the software may work with Firefox, but the software does not recognise the version of Firefox.
First of all check the add-ons are up-to-date. Downloading, installing and using the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Compatibility Add-on] may help to allow such Add-ons to be run for testing, and hopefully some may actually work.

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty. Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

do you have the receipt from where you bought it? If so take it back and see what they will do for you.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router

Hello Gentlemen, Quick question: how to share the wifi connection of my bbz10 with tethering or mobile hotspot or whatever. I am connected to a wifi netwrok with the phone and I want to share this wifi with my laptop (unfortunately I cant connect ti this network with my laptop). I do not want to use the mobile data, but if I press tethering it tries to force me to enable mobile data. cheers.

Nope...the HotSpot function works by using the carrier data network connection on the device for any other devices connected to the devices WiFi hotspot. When the hotspot is activated, the ability for the device to use WiFi for data is deactivated. There is no bridge between WiFi data for the device and other devices connected via WiFi.

If you purchased the iPhone from Vodafone it will be locked to them
You will need to request they unlock the iPhone before you can use
it on Orange no other way
In UK Apple are the ONLY source of unlocked new iPhones

I bought a new iPhone 4 last month, totally fell in love with it untill there was this problem regarding the apn disappearing. I manually added the apn info and it worked fine for some time but soon after I disabled the mobile data/3g connection and enabled it later I always use to get a msg saying "Could not activate mobile data network" even after it being active( 3g symbol always used to be poped up at the top). Though the apn is filled with a valid data it shows me the same msg over and over again. It some times works on rebooting but the rebooting the handset everytime i want to use the connection sounds very pestering. Please suggest me with somehting to get rid of this problem...

PC Sync could not update the data to the mobile ph...

Ok now I am a little annoyed with my Nokia 6680.
For the last four months it has been working fine but all of a sudden it has stopped synching with either of my PC's.
The phone connects ok and I can do file transfers etc however when I try to sync it fails with the message
"The Synchronisation has been Terminated!"
and
"PC Sync could not update the data to the mobile phone."
I updated PC Sync to latest version on both PC's and I have tried cable and bluetooth connections but get the same issue.
In the end I bit the bullet and re-initialised the phone and it began working again.... for three days and then its doing the same thing again. It still connects ok but no sync.
My Laptop is using WinXP SP2 and my home PC is on WinXP SP1.
Anyone able to help with this please, my phone is effectively now a paper weight and I will go back to Pocket PC phones again.

Thanks for the tip I had the SAME problem on the 6822 same error. The phone had been fine for a month or so. Then nothing would synch, thought it was the PC fixed / reinstalled the software changes options nothing would work same error.
