Is the new iOS 5 available yet?

Today is the day that the new iOS 5 is suppsed to be released. Why is it not available yet? I was looking forward to getting it.

It will be released at 10AM PDT. If you live in the eastern time zone, it will be avaliable at 1PM.

After the new IOS for Ipad the words with friends app will not let me sign on (it says item I wish to buy is no longer available????) I uninstalled it but when I tried to install it still repeats (item you wish to buy...) Help

After downloading the new IOS for Ipad I cannot use Words for Friends from Ipad. I uninstalled it but when I try to reinstall it pops up with "item you wish to buy is no longer available".

I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two. Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.

After updating my IOS TO 8.1 (12B411) on 10/23/14, I went to update my blood sugar level in the IHealth app. And now after the new IOS update I'm unable to find the blood glucose option in the IHealth app. Did Apple remove it or just mess up AGAIN?

Apple removed blood glucose until further notice. The reason behind this is that it gave a distorted picture in countries where the medical world used other measuring units. I suspect it will be available again in a future update.

You each need to have separate Apple IDs and separate user accounts. Better yet, separate computers as well.

We are users here. We cannot possibly know when a new update will be available.

Will iPhone users be required to update to the new IOS 7?

From what I've read so far the new IOS doesn't attract me and I'd like to keep the existing IOS. Is this going to be possible? Thanks much.

No one will have to upgrade when it is released if they don't want to. It will not be available until this Fall after extensive testing to get as many bugs out of it as possible.
