Is the next Adobe CC going to be internet only?

I dont have internet at home, and I heard the Cloud requires an always on internet connection. Is this true and will there be no more physical copies sold? I only every buy physical disc Adobe, and I only have to connect my computer to the internet once for registration.  I am a student so all I can afford the student version and that is only with financial aid assistance, so internet is not really going to be an option anytime soon, until I get a better job.

Plus, of course, the Internet connection to download the software when you start a Cloud subscription... since my understanding is there will be no more physical media
I have NO idea if there will be a Cloud Education version with a lower monthly price

When is the next generation iPhone going to be released?

There is no official date as of yet, but "we" as in every one of us, are expecting to hear from apple about the new iphone this fall.

  • Does anyone have ANY idea when the next update is going to happen?

I'm editing a wedding video now and am waiting for the new updates (especially the functionality between Speedgrade and PP) to drop. I had heard a few weeks back that they were going to happen 10/15 but that date came and went. Then at the Create Now tour they said "in the next few days", but that was nearly a week ago. Does ANYONE have the scoop on this? I'm chomping at the bit....

Due to Adobe being a publically-traded company, where mis-information or disappointments from missed expectations can affect their market cap, non-disclosure-agreements of employees and contractors would prevent divulging of such information in a public forum.

What do you mean with: ''FireFox is automatically swapping toward other " http://www.free.fr" home page'' ?
Do you mean that Firefox goes by itself to the www.free.fr if you open the leschamoisvolants.free.fr site ?

comon nokia please make an new update for the n73

Never. N73 is an old model, and it is very very unlikely that Nokia would release a new firmware. There has been no firmware updates for S60 phones as such, and even S60 FP1 devices like the N95 (these might have another one or two, if at all there are any).

  • When is the next Trade and Save DVD to Blu Ray??

I have been to the store twice when they were offering 5  bucks trade in money for dvd to blu ray. And both times the offer was expiring that day and it was late. I have a bunch of dvd I want to upgrade to blu rays. Anyone here have an idea when the next one might come up? I dont see anything about it online, just that the last one expired last month or so.

    Hello LateralusGT!
The Upgrade & Save program is a great way to get rid of some of your standard DVDs and upgrade to Blu-ray, and I’m very sorry that you’ve missed out on the promotion in the past!
Unfortunately, I don’t have any information right now as to when the next one is going to be, but be sure to keep checking BestBuy.com as well as our weekly ads to find out as soon the promotion begins again.

  • When's The Next Final Cut Pro HD Update?

I was just wondering if anyone knows when the next Final Cut Pro HD update is supposed to be released. I'm about ready to make a purchase, but I was wondering if I should wait if the next version is going to be out soon.
    Thanks!

I don't think it's against the TOU however to point out that Apple have been known to launch new products or announce updates at the NAB show, which takes place every April.
But I personally have no idea if there's anything in the pipeline. I only buy every second upgrade anyway so I'll be waiting for FCS7.

  • The next update from apple

Is there anywhere to look and see when the next one is going to be? Do they come on any type of regular basis?
    Thanks, Kelly

There is no place to check when the next update will be forthcoming.
You can also check to see if one has been released by depressing the 'check for update' button on the Info page of iTunes.
It will tell you if you are up-to-date with the updates.
Do not confuse the wording in the description under the subject Version. The date in the description is merely the next time that iTunes will automatically check for an update. You can check manually for an update whenever you desire.

  • The next WiFi

As the next WiFi is going to be under 802.11 n, is the Macbook Pro going to be able to connect to servers of 802.11 n? The user's manual says MBP will connect to 802.11 a/b/g...but "n" will be here in the next year or so. My question is, will there be an upgrade option on MBP so we can connect to this new WiFi?

802.11n isn't final yet. However there are a number of products that use at least some of the technology. 11g products will almost certainly work with an 11n access point. However at least with current products, it appears that having a mix of 11g and pre-11n clients causes performance problems. pre-11n can also interfere with neighboring 11g networks. Some of this may be fixed by release.
Actually I'm currently using a pre-11n wireless router, the Netgear Rangemax 240. However I'm using it only with conventional 11g clients. The advantage of using this router is that the pre-11n antenna technology (MIMO) does a lot better job of providing consistent reception. With an Airport Extreme base station, throughput changes when I change the position of the laptop on my lap, and at times there are connectivity problems. The connection with the Rangemax is a lot more consistent. The problem seems to be primarily with the receive side on the access point. The Macbook Pro generally saw the signal from the AP fine.
There are several different post-11g technologies. You want MIMO. Some of the others do worse than a normal 11g access point when talking to a plan 11g client.

  • Web CrystalReportViewer error when trying to go to the next page or search

Recently I've updated my solution to CrystalReports for VS2010 (now I have 13.0.2000.0 version along with .NET 4.0 and C#). When I used CrystalReports 10.5.3700.0 CrystalReportViewer was situated inside an UpdatePanel and controlled with my own toolbar and everything worked fine. After an update this stuff refused to work at all (CrystalReportViewer was simply blank) and I according to advices on this board removed all UpdatePanels and ScriptManager from my page and began to use native CrystalReportViewer toolbar. Now first page of the report is rendering properly and Print and Export buttons of the native toolbar are working fine but when i'm trying to go to the next page of a report, I see only word "Error" in the report's area.

  • Adobe's take on CS6 performance on the next gen MBP

Forgive me if I missed this, but being gutted they still haven't released a new Mac Pro (spec bumps released today don't count), I'm thinking of just getting a Next Gen MBP and work from there.  Does Adobe have an opinion on how it performs with CS6 particulaly related to Cuda acceleration and the Mercury Playback engine?  Will it do well with only 16GB of RAM and the internal 650M card?

I'm not Adobe and don't speak for them.  What I say here is probably worth less than you paid for it.  However...
Doing some thought exercises should pretty much answer your question.  Some things about the new MBP (which I intend to get, eventually) -
1GB of VRAM.  MPE in hardware mode, assuming it works with the GT650M (and no reason to assume it won't) will be somewhat hobbled with only a Gig of VRAM.
16G of RAM is probably enough but a bit on the tight side depending on what you're editing.
Spinning media: using a laptop for your primary editing rig is always a challenge due to storage.  The new MBPs have 2 Thunderbolt ports which is nice, so you'd be encouraged to add external storage via those ports.  But doing so is going to cost you some serious $$.
Can you do it?  I'd assume so.  Will it perform as well as a Mac Pro with a decent video card and a cubic f'load of RAM in it?  Probably not.  IMHO: I think you're foolish to walk away from the Mac Pro for PPro editing if you want to stay in the Mac world.  The new MBP laptops look superb, and after years of having cruddy displays on their 15" laptops, Apple has finally turned a weakness into a strength (2880x1800.. good grief!)  But, unless you start going nuts with Thunderbolt add-ons, the laptop is still going to be I/O-bound to some extent, and limited in what it can do from a video performance perspective.

When I sign in to the Adobe Reader XI (which is the only option that I have to open a pdf document, I will sign in to the Adobe ID sign-in page. After I do this, the "Convert To" box goes "gray" and I am unable to convert the document I have selected.  It was working great for the first week that I used it, but now it doesn't give me the converting option.  I am very frustrated as I have done nothing to change anything, and I was thinking this was so great...now I am just pulling out my hair and do not have the option of calling anyone since no phone numbers are listed. I am VERY busy and do not have time to sit and wait over a half an hour to "chat", which I tried to do yesterday.  All I want to do is very simply, convert pdfs to Word.  I have paid for this and am not getting any help. I am not very savvy when it comes to Adobe this program and Adobe that program...I feel I am being scammed as I do not get simple answers for something that appeared was going to be simple. You can't even call customer service to talk to someone live to help walk you through.
