Is the personal hotspot available on the Ativ SE?

If so, how do you set it up? I have the more everything plan but cannot find the settings for the hotspot. thanks

Settings >> Internet Sharing >> Press slider/toggle to right to turn sharing on
Other adjustments can also be made, from this internet sharing screen, to wi-fi, ssid (broadcast name), and password.

    Generally, this issue should be related with something called split tunneling, since you’re using a F5 vpn client, you need to look for something related to split tunneling in the F5 VPN client's documentations.

  • Is it possible to remove the "Personal Hotspot" note in the top status bar?

    As you can see here, an additional status bar is shown, which is kinda annoying me when i'm using apps and other things, since the screen is kinda moved out of the screen, kinda hard to explain. Is there any way to get this message away from my screen?

    Is this possible now in iOS7? I've noticed that there is now a number of connected users beside a new icon in the status bar at the top of the screen. This combined with the change to a blue bar makes it all pretty obvious what's going on. Can this double height bar now be made to disappear?

    Settings > Cellular. Won't be available there unless your carrier supports the option and you have the option included with your data plan.

    Personal Hotspot is a carrier feature. If you restore the phone, it might take a while before it is available again.

    Thanks for replying. The plan you have it would be an additional charge to add the hotspot feature. It's not free with the Nationwide plan. You would need to add the feature online at www.verizonwireless.com/myverizon

    it has been noticed that the personal hotspot feature has been missed from the iOS 8. It was availbe in the cellular data in the setting in the previous ios but after I updated to the latest version i could not find it for my iPad Air. However, for my iPhone 4s it is still there after update.

    I am not able to use the personal hot spot in the ipad 3 the new one .

    It should be in Settings > General > Network > Personal Hotspot - if it's not there then have you checked with your carrier to see if they support it on the iPad (and even if they support it on the iPhone they don't necessarily also support it on the iPad) ? It may also be an extra fee/subscription from them, and you could check if there is a carrier update.

    No. If you go Settings App > General > Reset > "Erase All Content and Settings", you will have the same iOS that was on the iPhone when you tapped the Erase button. If you believe your iPhone is Jailbroken, then this will not work. If you use iTunes on computer, this will put iPhone to current iOS which is iOS 7.0.2

    Correct. Carriers sometimes support personal hotspot on the phone but not on the iPad. I think AT&T does this.

    Do you pay for a tethering plan? Generally speaking, the carrier must support it. It will be enabled when you add tethering to your plan. Your account must be provisioned specifically for an iPhone.
