  • Eligible for educator discount - working at hospital affiliated with University

I'm trying to figure out if I am eligible for the educational institution discount. I am a research scientist at a hospital that is affiliated with a nearby university. I have, for example, access to electronic library resources through the University. It was not clear from the eligibility requirements as to whether or not this would qualify for obtaining the educational institution affiliation discount.

    Hi there
The Student membership is an annual plan so you'll pay the same price each month for 12 months regardless of when you graduate during that year.
    Thanks

  • Does anyone know if the $60 unlimited talk/text/2GB of data is also eligible for corporate discounts?

Does anyone know if the $60 unlimited talk/text/2GB of data is also eligible for corporate discounts?  Or is that plan not eligible?
    Thanks

I know the answer to this question Jimbo2552! The $60 plan outlined in your post is a loyalty plan and it is not eligible for employee discount, as it is already a discounted plan.

  • How to validate whether a unpaid invoice is eligible for Cash discount or not ??

    Hi all,
I need to display all the unpaid invoices which are eligible for cash discount only using a report.
I'm getting bukrs, lifnr and posting date as selection criteria. BSIK as base table.
    Pls suggest me.
    thanks,
    Shameer.

    Hi Anindya,
Just got to T.code SM12(Lock Entries), which gives the table name and user who has locked.
    for checking purpose,
create lock object to any ztable which create two FM enqueue and Dequeue just keep a break point in between these FM and check the transaction SM12.

  • Proof you're a student to get educational discount???

I am currently a higher-education student. How do I find out if my school qualifies for the educational discount, and, what kind of proof will the Apple Store need to prove I am a student??? Just a school ID???
    Thanks.

  • Are international students eligible for the student edition discount?

    Good day,
I'd like to know if students anywhere in the world are eligible for the CC student edition at the discounted price (once proof of their student status is provided)?
Secondly, how does a parent purchase for the child i.e. parent's financial details and child's student information? Do you register the account in the child's name or the parent's?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
    Regards,
    Ann.

  • Can someone show me where it says i can use the student version for comercial purpesses?

Ive read the "terms of use" and didn't find it or maybe I missed it

The CC Individual is for personal use whereas the CC for Education(enterprise edition) can be used for educational institutions.

  • Legal question - Am I permitted to use the student version for personal business while studying?

    Hello.
I am currently a digital imaging student and have a student subscription to CC.  I am required to use Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom etc quite a lot.
We have started a "freelance photography" unit and we are being encouraged to actually start/register our own businesses.
I am curious about this...  If I was to start my own photographic/imaging business and got some work, would I be able to use Photoshop etc for this work with only the student membership or would I need to upgrage/repurchase another subscription?
I could wade through the legal documents but this information does not seem to be very readily available and I'm hoping to fast-track an answer.  I will need to pass on the information to my teachers, as well (they can be a little vague on specific details at times...).
Thanks for any information about this.
    Daniel.

    Luis,
    That's an entirely unhelpful response.
    1.  The computers in question are not "privately owned".
2a.  The software licensed on those computers is licensed to someone else.
2b.  The software would actually be licensed under an "educational institution" license not the "student" license.
I'm asking here because its very likely that my teachers wouldn't know and it would probably take the IT department quite a while to tell me - It'd be more than likely faster to read the legals myself, if I was able to find them.
I'm hoping that someone who knows the specifics can inform me.
    Daniel.

  • Where is the upgrade prices for education edition?

I purchased a student edition of CS 4 Premium in early 2010. I am unable to find anything on the Adobe store of where I can upgrade this to CS 5.5 Premium for student or teacher edition. Instead, I only see that I can purchase another student edition for $449.00. But to upgrade CS 4 to CS 5.5 it is $649.00? Why does it cost more to upgrade? Is there not a upgrade price for student or teacher edition? Not finding it anywhere.

This pricing with Adobe is really upsetting me. They say the disadvantage to getting an education version of Creative Suite is that you aren't offered the upgrade pricing discount that normal customers get, you have to buy a new version each time you want one. OK, lets take a look at their product page. Someone upgrading CS5 Design Standard to 5.5 Standard has to pay $299, that's what they get for being a loyal customer. OK, now a student or teacher buying a brand new, non-upgrade, CS5.5 Design Standard has to pay......$299. Wait, what? A loyal repeat customer pays the same amount for the same product as someone who's never been with adobe before but is a student or teacher? That's great for students and teachers but it's kind of a slap in the face to loyal customers. Also, when you look at it, it's not a disadvantage at all to get the educational version like they say. CS5 to CS5.5 is the smallest upgrade and it's the same cost as a student or teacher would pay for a brand new version of CS5.5. So essentially they are upgrading for the same price.

  • Eligible for education pricing?

    Hi,
I'm a gonna be a senior in high school but I was wondering if I qualify for the education discount for buying a macbook pro. I work every summer at a private school that runs a enrichment camp and am called faculty there because I manage the tech department and assist for teachers of classes. I am on payroll there. Does this make me eligible for student/teacher discount? The more money I can save the better so I am hoping I am.
It is so annoying that they don't give us high schoolers any love. We are like one of their biggest consumer bases, at least where I'm from. Everyone in high school has a mac here. They should give us some incentive to return by offering discounts and promotions for our age group.
(ps the camp is for middle schoolers so the age group is right)

  • Proof for education discount

I read that education discounts are available and I'm wondering if purchasing a Mac for my daughter who's still in public school counts ?

No, if purchasing for a grade school/high school student, you would not be eligible for the discount.  If she was accepted for a college/university, or if presently attending one, she would be eligible.  Please check the following link for a full understanding of their educational discount.  http://store.apple.com/us/browse/open/salespolicies/edu

  • What proof do I need for educational discount?

I don't have a student card or anything. But i have an acceptance letter and a tonne of forms about my accomedation would that suffice apple?
    also iam in the UK.

The "principles" I was referring to was not regarding the student discount. I did not know what the prerequisites were for student education. Based on the word "student discount", I merely thought it was referring to any student and so I brought the student ID of my daughter's. When the Apple rep clarified the conditions to me, I was surprised and taken aback. I did not raise my voice or verbally and personally abuse him. I was in no rush to purchase the computer and was willing to walk out if my situation was unacceptable.
The "principles" I was referring to me was egarding the inclusion of "teachers" in the Apple website that Joseph Kriz quoted from. It mentions teaching staff of higher education. I am a member of the teaching staff of higher education. Period. If the same exact manager STILL finds this condition unacceptable after i bring my medical ID from the teaching institution as well as verification from Medical Educationthat Department that I do teach in higher education (higher education means college and above, right?), I will pay for the full price. That is the "principle" I was alluding to. I will let THE MANAGER of the Apple store decide for me.

  • .edu is no longer sufficient for Educational Discounts

I noticed on your College Discount page you restrict email subscriptions (and by that I will also infer education discounts) to only those with .edu email addresses.
In 2012, ICANN, the internet naming authority, approved over 250 new top level domains (TLDs.) TLDs, therefore, are no longer limited to the old standards of .com, .net, .edu. For example, my school now issues its students email addresses ending with .Institute, one of the new TLDs.
I hope you can change your college discount program and bring it up to current internet naming standards.

    Hello petereit,
Thanks for joining the conversation here on the forums! This was something I was not aware had been put into place and is certainly interesting. I apologize this has excluded you from receiving these emails.
I’m happy to see you followed AWBrown’s link to our IdeaX page and submitted your idea for consideration! This could definitely be beneficial for those colleges using less common TLDs for their email accounts.
    Thanks again for your feedback,
