Is the target usr/lib or /usr/lib to update system?
Hi , everyone
I am about to create the symbolic link to target /usr/lib for /lib as required by the upgrage process to avoid conflict by glibc.I want to quote as one guy said on the forum
"If you found yourselgf in a position to create symlink yourself,the link target is usr/lib and not /usr/lib".I would like to confirm this before proceeding any further.
Thanks
It's a relative path (to the directory you're in), instead of an absolute path.
I think "/usr/lib" would've worked just as well, after a reboot. But then if you ever need to chroot (for example), that folder would probably link to the LiveCD's /usr/lib folder instead of the actual (relative to mountpoint) "usr" folder.

In OWB I need to update the target table with same field for match/update
In OWb I am trying to update the target table with the match and the update on the same field can this be done. I am getting a error match merge error saying you cannot update and match on the same field. But in SQl my select is
Update table
set irf = 0
where irf = 1
and process_id = 'TEST'
Hwo do i do this in OWB.table name is temp
fields in the table
field1 number
field2 varchar2(10)
field3 date
values in the table are example
0,'TEST',05/29/2009
9,'TEST',05/29/2009
0,'TEST1',03/01/2009
1,'TEST1',03/01/2009
In the above example I need to update the first row field1 to 1.
Update temp
set field1 = 1
where field1 = 0
and field2 = 'TEST'
when I run this I just need one row to be updated and it should look like this below
1,'TEST',05/29/2009
9,'TEST',05/29/2009
0,'TEST1',03/01/2009
1,'TEST1',03/01/2009
But when I run my mapping I am getting the rows like below the second row with 9 also is getting updated to 1.
1,'TEST',05/29/2009
1,'TEST',05/29/2009
0,'TEST1',03/01/2009
1,'TEST1',03/01/2009 -

Have you registered MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll and SqlTaskConnections.dll as well? If no, I suggest you register “DTS.dll”, “MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll”, “SqlTaskConnections.dll” using register32.exe.
If the version of an instance of SQL Server 2008 R2 is earlier than SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2, as Shanky suggested, you may obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server. For more information, click the following article number to view the article

How do you check what version of the java basic libs
Dear SDN team,
I am currently using EP 6.0.2.5 , I have just installed patch 5 and I am wondering if I should patch my JAVA Basic libs. 2 Questions
1. How can I tell which version I am using now
2. Should I patch these libs and why?
Thanks
JeremyHi,
In The SDM Tool look for an SDA that was deployed from the SAP Java Libs package and then you will see something like:
Software Type: JAVA-LIB
Implementation Version: 6.20.<b>14</b>20031219134547.0000
This means that you are using SAP Java Libs 14.
It is recommanded to use the latest Java Libs because fixed and enhancements are provided with these libraries.
Kind regsrds,

Hello,
"C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1" where is my installation of database oracle enterprise 11g; I use Windows 7 Pro.
I have in System PATH : C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin
I have in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ORACLE > SYSMAN > OracleDBConsoleorcl : "ORACLE_HOME" value "C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1"
When i execute "sqlplus / as sysdba" command, i receive error: "The procedure entry point longjmp could not be found in the dynamic link lib. orauts.dll" and "Error ORA-12560"
If i execute
set ORACLE_HOME=C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1
C:\>set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
I don't receive Error.
Why?You don't mention which specific version of the operating system that you are using - Windows XP, Vista, or 7 and whether you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version.
FWIW, kernell32.dll is a Windows system-level module, so it's possible that you have some corruption in your Windows installation which is preventing FM from launching.
Also, 2Gb of RAM is a bit lean for FM. -
Hello Team,
My scenario is to store the vanity url in lower case. once user entered /content/mycompany/us/en/MCDonalds I would store it as /content/mycompany/us/en/mcdonalds, Next time on request of /content/mycompany/us/en/Mcdonalds, I would convert the incoming vanity to lower case and check with the entries in the cq5 and then accordingly either throw the message in the vtypes that vanity url already exist or allow the vanity url to go thru. I have acheived that with the following pseduo code Approach1. But I am not sure how to overlay the Dialog.js(libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/Dialog.js).
Approach1:
Changing the code in the Dialog.js(libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/Dialog.js)
* Submits the dialog.
* @param {CQ.Ext.Button} button The button that has been hit
* @param {Function} success The function to call if the dialog submission was successful.
* Overwrites {@link #success}.
* @param {Function} failure The function to call if the dialog submission has failed.
* Overwrites {@link #failure}.
ok: function(button, success, failure) {
if (this.form.isValid()) {
//get the form values
//convert the sling:vanityPath to lowercase
//set the form values
Now My question is how to overlay the (libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/Dialog.js). I tried putting the Dialog.js stored as MyDialog.js in my page component clientlib and changed the registration of the dialog to CQ.Ext.reg("customDialog", CQ.Dialog1) and given the xtype of the above dialog as customDialog. (Here already I overlayed the dialog containing all the tabs i,e basic,advanced. livecopy etc and tab_basic panel of the vanity url code from libs to do the validation with vtypes).
The problem is I am able to see the empty dialog but not the tabs displayed, when I use the xtype as customDialog.
Any suggestions/pointers to solve this problem would be appreciable.
Best Regards,
DurgaThanks Roland,
To give you more information. We discovered the source of the multiple instantiations of tabs from the page properties. We have a listener on the dialog.xml for our pages that listens for loadcontent events. In the course of its logic, the javascript for this listener will invoke dialog.loadContent(path) itself. Thus the double calls. Strictly speaking, we could look at ways to avoid the use of the loadContent call. But we also feel that there is something going on with regards to siteCatalyst and double-loading. This might be something you'll want to incorporate in your efforts to reproduce this. For posterity, here's a sample listener definition in our dialog.xml
<listeners
jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"
loadcontent="function(dialog, records, opts, success) {CQ.Acme.populateShortURL(dialog, records, opts, success);}"/>
Hope this helps! -

How to use FTP_COMMAND to put a file in the target system
Hi All,
I have the requirement to put an excel file from apllication server to another remote system for this i am using the function modules
1) FTP_CONNECT to connect to the sourece as well as the destination systems --- Here i am able to hit the both systems.
2) for sending the data to the target system i am using FTP_COMMAND by passing the 'put' statement along with the soruce and destinations for the command parameter.
See the bellow code
CONCATENATE 'put' v_fname '
' 'wbrs1\' folder
into cmd separated by space.
CALL FUNCTION 'FTP_COMMAND'
EXPORTING
HANDLE = dhdl
command = cmd
COMPRESS = 'N'

Here v_name is the file path and name in the application server suppose say :
/usr/sap/TD2/DVEBMGS01/work/TD2_20060901_1008_WAY-LY.XLS
and wbrs1 is the target system and 'Waynesboro DFS' is the folder name i ma passing to the command .
Also I tried with the following statement
CONCATENATE 'put' v_fname '
' dhost folder
into cmd separated by space.
Here v_name is the file path and name in the application server suppose say :
/usr/sap/TD2/DVEBMGS01/work/TD2_20060901_1008_WAY-LY.XLS,
Dhost is wbrs1.wb.na.webdti.com
And Waynesboro DFS is the folder .
Here i am getting the error as invalid argument.
See the bellow messages from result internal table.
put /usr/sap/TD2/DVEBMGS01/work/TD2_20060901_1008_WAY-LY.XLS
wbrs1\ Waynesboro DFS
open /usr/sap/TD2/DVEBMGS01/work/TD2_20060901_1008_WAY-LY.XLS errno 22: Invalid argument
Please let me know how i can resolve this problem and how can I put this file in the destination system.
Thanks in advance.

DESCRIPTION : Phoneix Account Reconcilation Program-Feed
Balance sheet account balances from GL
3 files needed to be enhanced. The files are " Master
Attribute File" & "Transaction File(GL Balance)". For
Master Attribute File, data needs to be retrieved from
T001, ZDATSRC_T, SKA1, T003, T856. The corresponding
data from all the tables is downloaded into file
according to the condition specified. For Transaction
File, data needs to be retrieved from ZGEIST based on
Ledger(GG), Record Type(0), Fiscal Year, Period(016).
Then the current period is used to determine which TSLxx
& KSLxx needs to be used. Also, the conditions are
specified in specs which have been used accordingly.
The final data fetched will need to processed as files
which neednot be downloaded to Presentation/Application
server. Instead the files are been FTPed to the
Informatica Server using FTP. The location where the
files need to be located is ERC\GLOBALSAP.

Log Message:
modules: added support for automatically adding "use namespace X", depending on the -target-player value
* similar to how we add "use namespace AS3"
* symmetric with ASC's -use feature, however we don't have equivalent commandline support yet
Bugs: n/a
QA: Nothing in particular, except for testing the new functionality of -target-player (email me about this)
Doc: Maybe: If we doc about "use namespace AS3" being added to all Flex compiles, we may want to talk about this.

[ 391.631] (II) intel(0): Printing probed modes for output LVDS1
[ 391.631] (II) intel(0): Modeline "1600x900"x60.0 110.00 1600 1664 1706 2010 900 903 906 912 -hsync -vsync (54.7 kHz eP)

If it can help here is also my current xrandr output (after having called it manually to use the preferred resolution of each screen)

Binaries move to /usr/bin requiring update intervention
I just updated succesfully as was indicated on the Latest news with the intervention
But I do wonder.....
If I now look at my filesystem I now have the following links:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 31 mei 20:40 /bin -> usr/bin
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 31 mei 20:40 /sbin -> usr/bin
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 31 mei 20:40 /usr/sbin -> bin
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 31 mei 20:40 /bin -> usr/bin
I wonder why /usr/sbin is not pointing directly to /usr/bin but instead first to /bin (which is directed to usr/bin)
Is that intended ?
Last edited by robin67 (2013-06-03 13:28:04)I have a problem updating the "filesystem" package.
# pacman -Syu --ignore filesystem,bash
# pacman -S bash
Until here, everything was Ok, but doing:
# pacman -Su
I get:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)

Looking into "/", the directories "/bin" and "/sbin" were removed. Although the directory "/usr/sbin" exists and is empty. Some clues? -
Scale does not work for the target movie when using a poster movie
Hello,
I have various size video files that I want to scale to a certain display area on a website. I'm using the scale="tofit" attribute. It works fine for the poster movie but when the target movie is loaded it does not scale! Is this a QT bug or by design? Is there a workaround to this or am I doing things wrong? All help is greatly appreciated.

Dell inspiron 8200 Windows XP ProAfter quite a lot of Googling I found what I was looking for. This solution was quite hard to find. I found it on http://blog.deconcept.com/2005/01/26/web-standards-compliant-javascript-quicktim e-detect-and-embed (I'm using Geoff Stearns's script to embed my movies, it works great!)
Anyway here is a url to the final solution:
