Depending on what sites you are trying to access, you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

The reason there aren't two versions of Flash Player for Mac is that there is no longer an "Internet Exploder" for Mac since 2004. Windows has two builds because IE requires ActiveX controls and thus, a completely different architecture. The Flash Player for Mac IS for all other browsers.

Your best course of action is to email the web sites that use Flash and request that they support iOS. If you also mention that there are now well over 200 million iOS users worldwide that can't use the web site it might get their attention. A colleague of mine has been bent out of shape over the Flash issue since day one but he has finally started to contact web sites and request they support iOS. I just downloaded it on my sons Galaxy S3 straight from the Adobe website and it worked fine.
So what? Nothing I said is untrue. Adobe have ceased development of Flash for ALL mobile devices, and it is no longer available from the Android App Markets. Only bug and security fixes will be released in the future.

Flash in on iOS was never alive. On Android specifically it is now dead going forward.

Why can't I find Adobe Flash Player for Linux/Firefox 4

I can't figure out how to get Adobe Flash or Shockwave player for Firefox 4. Running Ubuntu 10.04 and when I try to find them in add-ins for FF4 there seems to be nothing. I am not the world's most experienced Linux guy but since Flash and Shockwave are so common it seems curious that they don't have them as add-ins for FF4. Maybe I'm just so far off track on this one it may be the dumbest question anyone has ever asked. But what the heck, you never know the answer if you don't ask the question.

There is no flash player for the iphone and Adobe would be the one to develop one, not Apple. And there are no plugins to install instead, as far as I know.
