Whilst Macs with a Superdrive continue to be able to burn video DVDs, the software for so doing, iDVD, is no longer included in the iLife bundle that came with OS 10.7 Lion (which also omitted iWeb) or that comes with OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. And it is no longer included in the iLife 11 from the online Apple Store: http://www.apple.com/ilife/. Your only solution is to look on Amazon or eBay and try to get an older version that includes iDVD 7, i.e. iLife version 9 onwards. You should also do this if you plan to buy a new Mac anytime soon, as stocks of iLife that include iDVD will not be available for ever.

Is there any synchronizing alram theme for this mobile. Even nokia 1600 which i used earlier, i had speaking alarm clock. It will synchronize with the actual alarm time and give mesage "this is the time to get up. The time is ...so..so synchronized with the actual time in snoozing also. The speaking clock is the inbuilt function of some of the lower end Nokia models. As for the theme, you can check on the Nokia Store or on getjar.com for applications.

Why are there virtually no mobile apps for the Android operating system?

I am trying to find mobile apps for my android tablet. Why are there virtually no mobile apps for this system?

Adobe's attitude is not only incredibly insulting and ignorant, it is also short-sighted, particularly considering the top android handsets would actually allow their apps to be more flexible and powerful as they have more RAM at their disposal and the very popular Galaxy Note series would be a perfect device with its integral stylus. This is not acceptable and makes me reconsider staying with my CC subscription. I guess it is time to start looking for adobe alternatives or at the very least demand a discount in our subscription as we are unable to use a large chunk of the subscription portfolio.

There is no Mobile Holder for E72 on the market

Hello. I have a problem. Nokia doesn't sell Mobile Holder for my E72. When I went Nokia store in my city, i was told, that the only solution is to buy Mobile Holder for Nokia E71 and use it with Nokia E72. Well, I tried how does my E72 fit in E71's Mobile Holder. And it fits awful. It is really hard to get phone out of the holder because E72 phone is wider than E71 and so E71's holder simply doesn't fit. Now the question: why the hell Nokia ignores E72 users and there is no special edition of Mobile Holder for Nokia E72? Is there any plan to produce such accessory? Or this discrimination of E72 owners is OK and Nokia simply going to ignore us forever?

Baby mobile Theme crash

Has anyone had this problem... in iDVD 6
When using the baby Mobile 5.0 Theme you click on menu then edit themes.... If you try and drag a picture to the dropzone bar
idvd will close with no message. It is not a crash.. it just closes
I have tried reintalling iDvd and it does not fix it

I have the same exact problem. You don't see anything. The program simply closes, with no console popping up at all. You're just back at the desktop.
I deleted those "com.apple.idvd" files, and repaired permissions, to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Do you know where you can find more project themes for imovie 11?

I have enjoyed using the Project Themes in imove 11 and want more to choose from. Do you know of any others? Producted by a third party?

There are none, as far as I know.
Apple has not opened up the API to developers.
You can create your own in Final Cut Pro and Motion, but it is expensive ($350 total) and there is a big learning curve.

Am I dumb or there are just few themes for KDE4?

Installed KDEmod 4.1 yesterday, tried to customize it but could not find any good theme (KWin, icon theme, KDE theme) for it on KDE-look.org. In fact, I found that there are faw themes avaliable for KDE4. Should I go somewhere else for KDE4 themes? Or I can only wait for more theme authors falling in love with KDE4?

IMovie 6.0 themes for sports

I have a son in basketball and I have video of him and I am making a DVD. I am using iMovie to creat the project. The problem is there are no sports themes in iMovie. Does anyone know of some third party sports themes for iMovie 6.0? Free would be nice but not necesssry. Thank you in advance. Vern Iverson

i don't really like the backgrounds that come in imovie'11. i know instead of complaining i should just use final cut pro, but i've never used it before and it looks so complicated. are there any background plug-ins for imovie'11? thanks!

Typing in the discussion forums from an iPhone is torturous. I can have full sentences typed out with my fingers before they appear on screen as text. If I have some text filled out here then go to another app and come back, it not only doesn't save my text entry it also logs me out of the forum.
Is there a separate mobile site for this forum or a dedicated app?

By the way, the other thing that would sign you off the site (besides very long inactivity) is transitioning from WiFi to cellular or vice versa, or switching WiFi networks.

Yes, there are (I'm using Nokia theme Dark (T) by LA). Try a goole search with it (I think I'm not aloud to post it here).
As a personal opinion, it's really fabulous.

Create mobile Theme in APEX 4.0

I'm using APEX 4.0 (4.0.2.00.06) and I have to create a Mobile application. I know there are mobile theme's available in APEX 4.1, but we won't switch to APEX 4.1 jet...

I've created this at first in the Builder Blue theme, but now I want to create a Theme which only suits for mobile devices.
I created a theme from scrach and created the templates mentioned above in this theme. I've copied the button and label templates and the From Region Template from the Builder Blue theme. But in a Form Page the buttons are not visible.
Can someone point out to me how to make button and label templates for a mobile device, and make it work properly?

I found out it's an issue in IE (7). I've tested it on a mobile device and it works fine and in Chrome it also works fine...

Noir-ish(?) FX for iMovie '09 (2 part ?)

Total newbie with big idea's for short clips....
.....right now I have this idea bouncing around in my head for a Noir-ish style clip but I can see the need for a (and pardon me if this sounds really bad) gunshot splatter effect with this 'project'. I've looked a little bit for tut's and such on YouTube but so far only After Effects is mentioned... Photoshop as well but I can't get my head around that one.
Is there such a effect available for iMovie, native or 3rd party? Or do I need to upgrade to a more intensive program? I do plan to upgrade to Final Cut Express in the near future, then eventually a higher tier, but wanted to take it in baby steps as I'm very enthusiastic but in the learning process and am not wanting to have to spend uber $'s on software right at this moment.
I'm just using a Canon P n S with video capability right now, but am looking at middle level camcorders....
....which brings me to my 2nd question.... I'm looking 'hard' at a Panasonic HDC-SD100. Anyone here have experience with this one? The reviews I've found so far are mixed but mostly good.

I've got the Panasonic (Flip-style) HM-TA1. It's got the HD modes but also has the Apple iFrame mode and that's what I use because it compresses the video a lot less than any of the .mp4 HiDef formats. Panasonic lists the iFrame (960x540) data rate as 25Mbits/sec. whereas full 1920x1080i is a mere 17Mbits/sec. This means it's doing a lot of mathematics and statistical analysis to get the frame sizes smaller. It can use the SDXC cards (64GB-128GB storage on one card). iFrame doesn't convert on import into iMovie, but it is not HD, but the camera can also shoot the HD, but will convert on import because of how compressed the frames are. Panasonic has some larger more traditionally shaped/sized cameras that also have iFrame as an option as well as HD, better lenses and they cost more too. I got the HM-TA1 at roughly $129 as it went on sale around Christmas. You can pay closer to $1,000 for the bigger more traditional cameras. The TA1 is now the TA2 with a bigger lcd on the back and some touch controls, but basically the same cam as before.

There are no more themes for Slideshows. There are many alternatives to iPhoto's slideshow including:
iMovie, on every Mac sold, as is iDVD.
Others, in order of price:
PhotoPresenter $29 - this has a wide range of themes
PhotoToMovie $49.95 - this has no themes
PulpMotion $129 - this has themese
FotoMagico $29 (Home version) ($149 Pro version, which includes PhotoPresenter)
Final Cut Express $199
It's difficult to compare these apps. They have differences in capability - some are driven off themes, some aren't. Some have a wider variety of transitions. Others will have excellent audio controls. It's worth checking them out to see what meets your needs.
However, there is no doubt that Final Cut Express is the most capable app of them all. You get what you pay for.

Mobile themes and templates

It seems apex 4.1 supports developement of mobile apps and hence includes themes and HTML templates suitable for smart phones and mobile devices.
I have not found any themes specific to mobile apps. I could be wrong. Can anyone please help me locating themes and templates.
