Is there a backlit keyboard that is compatible with the dv4 1225dx?

And how can I get one if so? Looked around on ebay and some of the backlit boards look like they would fit but not sure. Does the dv4 motherboard even have the connector for it?

Most would probably work. Scanner tend to support the TWAIN interface which Mac OS suppports. You would not get any of the software on the disc.

the Wifi storage options are interesting but it seems they only allow to read files from the device on the iPad but not transfer files to the storage device via WiFi.
I'm looking for a possibility to use the iPad for photography while traveling, without the access to a computer.
Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
any suggestions?

I have it, bought it at walmart, and yes, it works just fine. Nice to have an extra 6 feet or so.
then again..yes, an extension cord or power strip will work quite well too.....and leave you an extra 20 dollars or so to play iwth.

In general, USB connected keyboards are not supported. However, if you do a Google search, some users have successfully connected a USB keyboard. Sometimes a USB powered hub is needed because the keyboard takes too much power. Also, some of the keyboard special keys may not work.

Unfortunately, there are no lowpass filter modules compatible with the SC-2040. One option you may want to consider is an SCXI system with an SCXI-1140 (8-Channel Simultaneous-Sampling Differential Amplifier) cascaded with an SCXI-1142 (8-Channel Bessel Lowpass Filter). I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. Hi - the new lightning connector on the iPhone 5 has an authentication chip so very few 3rd party manufacturers have come out with compatible devices - so I doubt that you will find a frame that works for both phones - however Apple has come out with 2 apapters - one is a cable and one is a direct 30 pin to lightning device - you would have to check out each frame to see if one of these might work - I looked at the Panasonic and it looks promising but I would check the return policy of anything that you buy in a case it doesn't work.

Is there ANY wireless mouse that will work with the iPad 2 and Apple's Wireless Keyboard?

I have the iPad 2 and Apple's Wireless Keyboard and would like to purchase a wireless mouse that will accommodate my Apple products. I do understand that Apple's Magic Mouse is not compatible with the iPad 2, but would like to hear if there is any possibility that i could use a wireless mouse with my iPad.

You don't have to purchase a mouse. You already have one, it's wireless and the only one that will work on an iPad.

actually it works the other way round - addons that hook into firefox have to adapt their compatibility to work with new versions, there's not much firefox can do about that...
according to the silvermel homepage, the theme is already compatible with the up-to-date firefox 13: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/silvermel
