Is there a better OS for iPad?

I have been very glad to have my iPad but now it has lost all his right to life.
it is TOTALLY useless to me and the source of daily, no, hourly serious nuistance.
Is there a better OS for iPads to *work* with? (iOS 8 seems to be just a public nuisance.) I got from the people there nice hints to clear something, some resets I performed though I am not interested to delete all the content.
How to get a system that can cut or copy text or images und paste it anywhere? A glourios matter for MacOS 1.01

If you want an iPad that is fresh and clean, just like when it came from the factory, you have no choice ... you HAVE TO DELETE all the content. Of course you'll want to do backups before you do that, and you'll need to understand what is saved on your backup and what is not saved.
Let me know if you want to go over the details on how to get your iPad back to factory default state, just like brand new.

I have bought a logitec docking station but it has the older bigger charger fitting..!!

Most commercial Docks are still only compatible with the 30 pin connector.
For newer devices such as the iPAd 4 and mini and the iPhone 5, some manufacturers are putting out a few docks but there are limited.Once such dock is the JBL OnBeat Micro.

As of now there are no known viruses for the iOS operating system. So you should be relatively safe and there's no need for anti virus software.
YOu still need to practice safe intrernetting. Don't click on random links in e-mails, don't enter your personal data into sites you don't know, etc. You can still receive phishing mails and the such.
But the nature of the iOS makes it very virus resistant (with the caveat as long as you don't jail break it, if you jail break it then it's no different from other devices and you're on your own there)

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

No. Apple doesn't do trade ins.
They do have a recycle program which will offer you something for it but you can probably do better selling it on your own.

Is there any better way for updating table other than this?

Hi all, I need to update a row in the table that require me to search for it first (the table will have more than hundred thousands of row). Now, I am using a LOV that will return the primary key of the row and put that primary key to DEFAULT_WHERE property in the block and execute query command to fetch the row that need updating. This works fine except that it require 2-query-trip per update (the lov and the execute_query). Is there any better way to doing this? This update is the main objective for my application and I need to use the most effective way to do it since we need to update many records per hour.

Thanks Rama, I will try your method. Others, how to query row instead of primary key? I thought that querying primary key is faster due to the index?
BTW, what people do if you need to update a table using Form? I have been using the LOV then execute query since I first developing form. But I am building a bigger database recently that I start worrying about multiple query trip to dbms.
FYI my table will have up to million rows on it. Each row will be very active (updated) within 1-2 weeks after it creation. After that it will exist for records purposes only (select only). The active rows are probably less than 1% of all the rows.

While there is nothing to suggest that there will be any additional updates for the original iPad. You might find some solution for your iPad running slow and frequently crashing.
the first thing I would check is how much free space you have left. I think to should try to have at least 20% of the space free to allow efficient operation of apps and the iOS. If you have less than that try deleting some apps or data on order to free up more space.

The computers are discounted, but the mobile devices (iPad, iPod, iPhone) are not discounted (never have been to my memory). You guy online just as always. When using the education store, I've never had to prove my affiliation, but I don't know about the government store.
You can also get the same discount in a birck-n-mortar Apple Store, you just have to ask for it.

WiFi is an international standard and universal around the world. There will be no hardware differerence as far as WiFi goes regardless of where the iPad is shipped. The iPad can use 802.11a, b, g and n and so wiill be compatible with any WiFi router supporting those standards, though some routers may use security/authorization methods that will not be compatible with iOS devices (any based on Java, for instance, for authentication to the wireless network).

Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing.
