  • Price for Housing, Top Case with Keyboard for 11inch Macair

    Hi
Please let me know the price details of Housing, Top Case with Keyboard, US ( Exchange )
    Regards,
    Madhu.RK

You can get an idea of the cost of parts at http://www.ifixit.com
Apple does not sell parts separately - they only sell parts as part of any repair you have done through them.  So you can take it into Apple or an Apple Authorized repair center and get a total cost of repair, but they will not sell you parts by themselves.

  • Best Ipad3 case with keyboard? Can I use a Ipad 2 case for Ipad 3?

I just bought the Ipad3 and I need to buy the case, but all the cases I found are for the Ipad 2 - are the Ipad 2 and 3 the same size? Can I use same case?
Which one is the best case with keyboard for ipad 3?
    Thanks!

First, we have a whole bunch of threads on this, so a search would help, and it would offer dozens of answers to this you might want to think about including a long thread where I reviewed a whole bunch of keyboards for the ipad3....
    But in short,
The Zagg Folio fits both the 2 and the 3 -- most people are finding in general that almost all cases made for the ipad 2 work with the iPad 3....
The Zagg has what I have found to be, by far, the best keyboard with the least errors -- in fact, I was able to get about 60 wpm on the keyboard without error after only a few minutes of practice. The downside is that the case is flimsy, looks kinda cheap, and its really hard to get the iPad out of the folio case -- I've found I have stopped using the folio at all, and just use the keyboard on my desk at work.
The clamcase fits both the ipad 2 and the iPad 3 -- it is by far the best overall case/keyboard that I have found. It looks great -- and the keyboard works well. Because of the realignment of the magnets in the ipad 3, it does not turn on/turn off the iPad like it does with the ipad 2, where that works flawlessly.
The downside is that the keys are cramped, and the error rate increases. With about a half hour of practice, I got about a 45 wmp typing rate, and that included several errors that required correction. It's a tradeoff because the keyboard feels good, the response is good, but because the keys are not seperated it is harder to type. I use this case only when I go on longer trips and don't want to take my laptop.
The nest overall keyboard is the Apple bluetooth keyboard without a case -- but it's a pain to lug it along, and you need a seperate "easel" for your ipad. Still, it's the best keyboard you can use -- and I get 65 wpm error free with this keyboard. I have one at home, and it's my keyboard of choice when you don't need the case.
Finally, I've gound that Brookstone makes a decent keyboard -- it works well, comes in multiple colors, and its actually more stable than the Zagg folio. The keyboard is not as good, though, and is plastic-y feeling. Still, it might be a fair tradeoff.
Almost all other keyboards are made by the same companies and distributed to third parties who put them into their own cases. I'd stay away from most of the other keyboards.
Overall -- for the convenience of the sheer folio thing, the Clamcase is about as good as it gets, even though it is about 50 dollars more than the Zagg and other similar models. Plus it makes your iPad look like a macbook, which is kind of cool.

  • Case with Keyboard Will Not Work on my HP 7"1800 Android Tablet

I baught a HP 7" 1800 android  tablet and I resently baught a case with a keyboard and I can not get it to work. I have tryed every thing that I know to get it to work but it will not work! I would like to know how to get this keyboard in my case to work? Has anyone got any sugestions?

Is the keyboard using a cable or BlueTooth?  If a cable, it will not work. If using BlueTooth, I would re-read the instructions provided with the keyboard. 1. Be sure the keyboard is compatible with Android.  This should be stated in the instructions somewhere. 2. Put the keyboard into "pairing mode" per the instructions.  This usually requires specific button presses. 3. Be sure BlueTooth is turned on in your tablet, and you have told it to "Scan for new devices" while the keyboard is in pairing mode. I have successfully used an old Palm Inc. BlueTooth keyboard with many HP tablets. WyreNut

  • IPad case with 10 key?

Is there an iPad case with keyboard that includes the 10 key OR is there a case that carries the iPad and a full keyboard? I want something that is compact without having to separately carry the keyboard or the number pad.  I am a CPA so not having the 10 key is a deal breaker for me.  Thanks!

All the cases I've seen for the iPad are basically the same size as the iPad, which means they're too small to have a 10-key.  Even the keyboards on those "keyboard cases" have to make the keys a little smaller than normal due to the iPad's size.  (Roughly 90-92% of normal.)
I know you said you didn't want a separate keyboard, but one of the few "portable" keyboards with 10-key I've seen is the Matias:
    http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Matias/FK204/
I have not personally used that model so I don't know what the feel of the keys are, but I don't know of any more keyboard still being sold that have 10-key and are "portable".  You could use any Bluetooth keyboard, but pretty much everything else with a 10-key is a not-so-portable desktop keyboard.
There is the LMP 10-key add on to the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/H4606ZM/A/lmp-bluetooth-keypad?fnode=MTY1NDA1M g&s=topSellers
I have not tried it on the iPad, but if it does work, then the Apple keyboard could work for you.  It would be a little larger than a "true portable keyboard", but that might not be a bad thing since too small of a keyboard would probably cause more typos for you.

  • Case with external battery

Is there a case with external battery coming for iphone 4?

Oh, OK, probably I was wrong. They "prioritised the charging – phone first, then external battery – so you would always have the internal battery in the best possible state."

Not so sure yet... Anyone has any comments?

  • Keyboard+MagicMouse+TwelveSouthMagicWand. Is there a case for this?

I have an Apple wireless keyboard, Apple magic mouse, and TwelveSouth Magic wand, and want to bring this with me when I travel.
Is there a case that will hold all three?

Try this:  might or might not work for you......
Open disk utility and verify your disk permissions - repair them if errors are found......might take an hour or less.....restart your macbook once it's done.....
If that doesn't work - check your login items and see what's loading when you restart your macbook - delete the ones you don't need starting up....
Last - try doing a SMC reset...
    good luck...

  • Will Tablet case with combined keyboard work on Lenovo Ideapad A1 07

    Hi All,
Sorry if anyone has asked before but couldn't find specific.
My wife has recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad A1 07 for its size,  a friend who has a small android tablet also recommended to her, to buy a tablet case with combined keyboard with USB connection from amazon. When received the connection obviously doesn't fit, so I started searching around web for an adapter for it, but I’m seeing conflicting info that the ideapad either does/doesn't support USB data transfer connection point, so before buying an adapter what is correct!.
Can anyone throw some light onto whether Lenovo will update the firmware to be able to use USB at any time or has anyone have a work around. Any help and advice to get this keyboard working would be grateful as the tablet is a great little device for her.
    Gazzataf

If you are patient, go through the reviews of a specific USB keyboard that was suggested as an addition for Lenovo A1 by Amazon: You will see that even though users have tried different cables and adapters, no A1 user has managed to get this working on his tablet.
This issue may be solved by a future upgrade (if any), which will enable the USB OTG feature of the microUSB port of the A1 tablet. Until then, nothing can be done in order to have any USB device identified and working with A1. I really hope that I make a mistake here and that someone will come up with a working soultion for this issue ...

To give an update on this issue, here is the latest information I have:
"Indeed the current eBay Open C doesn't come with root privilege. Now ZTE is going to put an engineering build on their website for users to download and flash."
I will update this thread as I know more information. Thank you for your patience.

Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.  See if that clears the glitch.
