I only use my online number occasionally, at my vacation home that has internet but no land line. If I let my online number lapse for the three months period during which the number is still reserved for me, will there be an extra charge to reactivate the number beyond the usual cost to extend it for another three months?

    It depends what application you are using. The standard Messenger application that comes with iPod 5.0 Software can only messenge iPod to iPod. A third party application, such as textPlus, (which I use) can text to phones for free, with internet connection. The incoming text dosn't charge the recipient. So it is, as it says, free texting.

    You have to have the special SiriusXM account for listening and you must have a regular SiriusXM subscription. Cost is around $15.00 per month. The Live365 app only requires a $7.95 per month subscription and provides much more than SiriusXM.

    FaceTime is currently free and will probably stay that way unless Verizon does something. A rumor floated around that AT&T cellular FaceTimes would cost extra, but it turns out they just require you to switch to a newer cell phone plan to use it on ther network (which to me could end up like paying), of course it is always undoubtedly free on wifi no matter what.

    Yes, there is a charge, but not initially, that I know of.  The charge comes in your DATA use.  Comcast used to be "unlimited", now they are charging for anything you use, over 350 GB per month.  Therefore, if you are streaming any video on your computer, such as Netflix, Xfinity, Youtube, or any other video site, once you go over 350 GB, they may charge you.  I say, "may", because I have gone over a few times, without being charged.  But, I have been a subscriber since 1999, when broadband was first introduced.  At that time, it was unlimited.  I don't know, if that is why they are not charging me, or if there is some kind of roll over.  Good luck!

    many folks use wi-fi at home/work/any place with wi-fi & that isn't using any of the data.
