Is there a chart or guide...?

Is there a chart or guide that explains what was added to what model during the update to iOS 8? The differences between models such as the 5s and 5c for example.

Not that I have found from Apple, But Ars Technica has a very thorough analysis: http://arstechnica.com/apple/2014/09/ios-8-thoroughly-reviewed/

  • Why isn't there a chart with ios, mac os and itunes compatibily?

    Since there are so many people who have been screwed over by upgrading to a newer ios without knowing that they would need a different version of iTunes that can only work with a newer Mac os, but their computer cannot run that os, so now they are out of luck, WHY isn't there a chart somewhere that shows the compatibility between ios, itunes, Mac os and even Mac computer versions? The info is available if you search for it separately (lots of searches), but I can't find it all in one place. For example, ios7 works only with itunes 11.1 and up on 10.6.8 and up on an intel Mac. That is really useful for people who want to make sure their whole infrastructure is compatible before they upgrade. Does anyone know if something like this exists anywhere? Thanks.

    I'm sure some people would be very grateful if you went ahead and did the work.
    Best of luck.

  • Is there a plain English guide to sharing iCal Calendars via OSX Server Mountain Lion?

    Is there a plain English guide to sharing iCal Calendars via OSX Server Mountain Lion? The present documentation is very limited and of no assistance to a beginner like me.

    I don't have a domain set up on OSXServer  I just have server.myserver.private. I have no mail services at server.myserver.private. I uses [email protected] (a different server)  as the email address in the setup process.
    When I go to share the calendar it requires a valid email address, rather than [email protected], so I enter my email address as a test, I try many other email addresses too but the server responds with an error stating " (email adress) was not recognized by the server.  A new invitation has not been sent.

  • Is there a chart/table showing colors and corresponding Hex codes?

    Hello all,
    I'm studying how to change the color properties on panel components programmatically, and I can find the property, but is there a chart or graph somewhere that shows for LabView the color and the corresponding hex code for it? I'm wanting to be able to look for a color I want, and find the hex code for it rather than just trying random number combinations.
    I'm guessing there is something out there like this, but I've not been able to find it yet....
    Thank you in advance,
    cayenne

    On your block diagram go to Graphics & Sound >> Picture Functions and select the Color Box Constant. When you click on the box it will bring up a color selector. You can use this to pick the colors that you want. If you really need the numbers, connect the Color Box Constant to a U32 indicator. It will tell you the number for the color that you picked (select the indicator's Display Format to be Hexadecimal and you can see the hex digits for the color you have selected).
    On the front panel you can select Numeric >> Framed Color Box to have the same box as a control.

  • IS THERE A CHART FOR COMPARING THE FEATURES OF THE MSI Z77 MBOARDS?

    Is there a chart for comparing the features of the MSI Z77 motherboards?
    Thanks

    What are you planning on doing with the build? If you will be overclocking, the gd 65 or 80 are recommended. The biggest differences are the Thunderbolt on the gd 80 and extra bios options and flexibility in overclocking.

    Is there any chart by which how itunes controls the iphone can be more understood easily

    Good idea. I've already used the feedback for my general suggestions to improve the way Apple handles bug reports (and tried sending it to Steve Jobs too), but I'll send a specific suggestion for a bug app on the iPhone.
    However, my question is whether there is a simple way to send bug reports from the iPhone now that I have overlooked.

  • Are there Any Charting solutions that works with JDeveloper/ADF?

    Are there any Charting solutions ( e.g. barchart, piecharts, etc) that works with JDeveloper / ADF ?

    This question came up here once before. I think the conclusion is: No, not with vanilla ADF. However, if you're interested, the thread did mention some other library you might want to try.

  • Is there a quick-start guide to creating plugins ?

    Hello Adobe Community,
    I would like to know if there is a guide or something similar that shows how to create a very-very simple plugin (maybe change only one parameter of a layer) ?
    Right now there is only the SDK.pdf, which isn't the best place for a first-time plugin creator.
    I have created a script in ExtendScript, which I'd like to package into a plugin to make it easier to the end user.
    I have searched the forums and the internet thoroughly and the only things that say something about plugin creation are very outdated.
    Any resources or tutorials about creating a plugin on Windows would be very helpful.
    I would also like to know how can I download the older versions of After Effects to test my scripts and plugins ? (I am a CC user.)
    Thank you!
    B2H

    what you should duplicate is a whole sample folder.
    for instance, to duplicate the "shifter" sample, you should duplicate the
    whole shifter folder.
    now that you have a copy of that folder, rename that folder to your new
    plug-in's name, for example "shpitz".
    next you'd probably want to use some "mass text replace" software to
    replace strings in all the files in that folder at once, but you can do it
    one by one in a regular text editor.
    swap the following strings in all the files:
    shiter -> shpitz
    Shifter -> Shpitz
    SHIFTER -> SHPITZ
    you have to make these changes in all .cpp, .h, vcproj, ect... files. (in
    shot, ALL files in that folder)
    when you're done, you need to replace the file names in the folder as well:
    shifter.cpp -> shpitz.cpp
    shifter.h -> shpitz.h
    shifterPiPL.r -> shpitzPiPL.r
    shifter.vcproj -> shpitz.vcproj
    are you all done?
    make sure that folder is placed in the "examples" folder. (where the
    "shifter" folder is)
    now in visual studio, right click the "Build em all" solution, and select
    "add existing project". point to shpitz.vcproj, and that's it.
    you now have an independent copy of "shifter" ready to mess with.

  • [ID CC] Is there a specific scripting guide for CC?

    Hi,
    I was looking for the scripting guide (both applescript and Javascript) for ID CC, but all I see is the CS6 version. Is that normal? I know there isn't that much new between the two version, but it would be nice to have the updated guides.
    Also, I had heard that the Applescript language was going to be fased out. Meaning, no new feature would be supported and things that changed would break current code in future version of the software. Is there any thruth in this? I'm a fairly novice applescripter and I can't even read Javascript, so I was wondering if I need to try to learn Javascript ASAP or if I'll be able to go by with my applescript.
    Thanks for any input.
    Jeff

    @Jeff – don't know if there is a specific scripting guide for InDesign CC.
    For news of new methods, properties and objects in the DOM (Document Object Model) in ExtendScript (Adobe's implementation of JavaScript) with InDesign see:
    Marc Autret:
    So What's New in InDesign CC Scripting DOM
    http://www.indiscripts.com/post/2013/06/so-what-s-new-in-indesign-cc-scripting-dom
    Another valuable reference (not covering CC but also InDesign CS6) is:
    http://www.jongware.com/idjshelp.html
    For learning ExtendScript you will find useful:
    1. Learn about "core" JavaScript (there are plenty of useful courses floating around in the web)
    2. Buy yourself a book like Grant Gamble's "InDesign CS5 – Automation Using XML & JavaScript"
    and experiment with your own InDesign files and code snippets from that base on…
    3. Find a collegue or some friends who also want to learn about it and do some learning sessions together
    4. Visit this forum a lot and browse through older threads. Most threads are about ExtendScript.
    Where did you hear that Adobe wants to phase out AppleScript on its products?
    Flash based extensions and related to that "ActionScript" will be phased out next year for building Extensions for CC applications. It will be replaced with [HTML5, CSS and JavaScript] for building widgets. PhotoShop CC will be the first product where we will see this (maybe around mid 2014); others will follow.
    Maybe you read about the abbreviation "AS" in this regard; which for some people is "AppleScript" and for some people it is "ActionScript". Don't confuse the two scripting languages.
    Uwe

  • Is there a WebUtil users guide?

    I downloaded the webutil pakage and installed it without incident but I am currently trying to learn how to incorporate them into my forms. I have been unable to find good examples or reference material on the functions in this package. Is there a guide that is available that will help to explain how to use this utility properly?

    All the documentation there is pretty good as far as installing the webutil package and telling you what functions exists, but there are very few how to's and there doesn't seem to be any documentation on how to call the functions themselves (what their dependencies are, what parameters are required or optional, limitations, ect ect). Is the documentation located at that link all there is?
