Is there a deadline to pick the produtc at the store?

I'd like to know if I buy an iphno6 to pick up at the store, you will keep it until I will be able to pick it up or there is a deadline?

No, the $79 price for the upgrqade is based on the new pricing of LR4...aside from some sort of special promo at some point in the future, I'm pretty sure the new price is the normal price.

I have successfully deauthorised my old computer but a unable to authorise my new machine.  I have followed the instructions but there is no option on the store menu to 'Authorise this computer'.  Please help!

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

Hi.  I've just purchased Acrobat Pro but can't download and install it as I get the error message "There was a problem in the store. If you wish to complete your purchase immediately, please call 800 0280148"I.  When I call 800 0280148 I get a recorded message saying the store is closed until Monday.  Is there any way I can get my software today?
    Thank you, Mary

you can download your software now and use the trial (which is the same as the full product except it's limited to 30 days use).  when you get your serial number you can convert your trial to the full non-time limited version by clicking help>sign in (or activate) so there's no need to uninstall, reinstall etc.

  • Is there a deadline to get the $79 upgrade price for LR4?

I'm currently running LR3.6, but its on a 4+ year old HP Pavilion with an AMD Althlon 64 X2 running WinXP.  Obviously I need to upgrade to Windows7 before upgrading to LR4, but from what I'm reading, I need to upgrade my hardware too (its past time anyway).  Unfortunately, its probably going to be a few months before I'll be able to spring for a new machine, so I'm wondering if there is a deadline to get the $79 upgrade price for LR4.  If so, I might need to buy it before the deadline, even though I don't have a machine I can run it on yet.

  • HT203200 I purchsed 2 albums and was charged for both, but only one downloaded to my Itunes account. The Billy Joel album did not even offer to download. It said there was a problem with the store at the end of the purchase.

I recieved an error message during the purchase of an album, stating there was a problem with the apple store purchase. It led me to believe that the purchase did not go through, aas it never downloaded. A susequent purchase did go through and downloaded. How dod I retrieve the lost purchase?

Have you received email receipts for them and/or do they show in your purchase history : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
They might just be temporary holding charges which will disappear off your card within a few days or so.
If they do appear in your purchase history then you can try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (or if they are 'proper' charges but nothing appears on your history) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
For your credit card not being accepted (it is a credit card, not a debit card ?), then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • Is there a way to force the store to send a receipt?

Pretty much as it says. If I buy a tune I might get re-imbursed for, I would like to get a receipt with just that item on it.

You should automatically get an emailed receipt to your account's primary email address, though if you buy multiple items on the same day they might be combined into one receipt.
If you have problems with a purchase and need to contact iTune Support about then you can use the 'report a problem' site to contact them : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • How to test MBP purchase while in the store?

I have been reading in some of the posts that the advantage of buying in a store is you can test it for several possible problems. How can you do this if you can't get past the first "Welcome to Apple" screen? Wouldn't you have to start inputting your information in the store and to get to the desktop and test fans, screen, speakers, etc.?

I've done this in three states, and the Apple personnel were uniformly gracious and understanding. But don't pick the busiest day of the week during peak traffic to sit there playing with your new MBP for hours.
As for what happens if you have a problem as you're setting it up, I think it's up to the store manager. I had a flaw in the plastic of an iMac G5 and the Manager offered me $100 off an iPod I was also eyeing to forget about it - which I did (I'm easy to buy off).
If your machine has any serious issues I think most managers would swap you a new one at no cost. Something minor or cosmetic they would handle as above.
Your mileage may vary but I've found it a very worthwhile practice. Show up early on a weekday and the Genius types may even get into testing the machine with you if there's nobody else in the store.

  • Heading to the stores - quick questions

Due to some issues discussed here and some help I received I decided to run out to shop for a few accessories so...
    1. Is there wireless earplugs that are good?
    <<<<<<Warning possible stupid questions>>>>
    2. Can I get a card that will allow me to use internet without having to be near wireless wifi (my home or hotspots)kind of like the sprint aircard I use for my laptop?
    3. Can I upgrade the battery?
    4. I need a dock/charger/player. Clock radio, boombox, types, so are the brands "I..." ("Ihome", "IP23", "Ih27", etc??) Apple Brands - or are they knock offs?
    5. And what about Logitech, Altec, JBL, and Bose. I know they are not Apple Brands but there are for sale in the "store" here on this website. So how can I be sure to get a good one that is better made for Itouch and not have the problems I have been having? (see my other posts)
Thank you to all of you for your help!

    1. You can buy bluetooth headphones but they need a little adapter that plugs in the bottom of your iPod.
    2. No sry. but you could create an network on your laptop to share the connection.
    3. I believe you can send it back to apple for replacement for a fee.
    4. Are you talking about headphones? Most brands are pretty good. Try them out and see if you can actually hear the difference. Also encoding your music at a higher bitrate or lossless will also aid better sound.

  • Installed itunes 11 no "in the store" under album view

Hi there. I`ve installed itunes 11 and in album view when i expand the album, there is no "Songs" "in the store" options on the right? Any ideas? Many thanks.

This happened to me too. Both on my Mac Pro where I installed iTunes 11 from the downloaded installer, and also on my wife's iMac where we updated to iTunes 11 via the App Store. So I figured it must not be a corrupt installation.
Finally noticed in iTunes Preferences under the Store tab, the last checkbox that says "Share details about your library with Apple" must be checked, or the "In the Store" button won't appear in Albums view. I thought we both already had that preference checked in iTunes 10, although I wouldn't swear to it. If so, though, it may be iTunes 11 is somehow unchecking that box during installation. I do know for sure I had Genius turned on in iTunes 10 on my Mac, but it was turned off by the iTunes 11 installation.
I must say, though, I am unhappy that you can no longer get song recommendations from just clicking on a song in one of your playlists. That used to be how I most often tried to find new music. In Albums view, you can't get suggestions based on a single track anymore, at least viewed within the context of your own local music library, and that is a step backward. To do so now, you have click on the song track within Albums view, then click "View in iTunes Store" which jumps you clear out of your library and into the store just to see the suggestions.
The problem with that is, you can't hit the "back button" in the iTunes store to get back to the album's tracks in your library to click another track to get suggestions for. Nor can you click on a different track on the same album in the iTunes store to get suggestions either. Instead you have to go back to your library, then scroll all the way back down to the album you were just looking at to click another song in the album to get suggestions for that one. Click, click, click, click, click, click, for Pete's sake.
This is progress? One step forward with iTunes 11, and about two or three back, for my purposes. Jobs has been gone one year, and already we're starting downhill with usability. :-(

  • Bookmarking in the Store

    Hello Al
I kow Apple has artist alerts in the Music Store . . .
One feature I find anoying is if you having a good browse through the store and find something of interest., and want to make a bookmark, to come back at later date.
I just there was some feature in the Store to allow you to do, the amount of times I've found a song, artist of interest and never been able to find it again on the store.
    Anyone tihnk it would useful?

You could create a new playlist and call it 'Wishlist' or something like that.
When browsing through the iTunes Store, you can drag a song of interest to that 'Wishlist'.
Later, you can click on the small arrow next to it's name which brings you right back to that song in the Store.
Alternatively, you can copy the URL in the iTunes Store of any song, artist or album.
Just control-click (or right-click) on the song, artist or album and choose 'Copy iTunes Store URL'. Then paste it in another application (text editor, mail, bookmarks in Safari).
I've found creating a 'Wishlist' a fast and easy way to go back to songs I wanted to review again.
Copying and pasting the URL in an email application is an easy way to let others know of the existence of certain songs, artists or albums.
    Hope this helps.

  • TS1368 My wifi works fine and I can access the store fine, but when I try to install an app, I get the message "cannot connect to iTunes store"

My wifi works fine and I can access the store fine, but when I try to install an app, I get the message "cannot connect to iTunes store"

I am guessing there is an issue with the store right now considering so many people are having the same problem on different platforms. I can't access it with my iPod Touch 4th Gen, yet my wifi is working and I can access the internet using other apps, but when I go to update a couple of apps from the iPod, I get the same error message after I try to sign in to the store.
