  • Difference Between Chroma and Saturation?

Can anyone explain the difference between chroma and saturation?
Also, how could I change the chroma of a color in Photoshop?
    Thanks!

    c,
You may have a look here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorfulness
A search in the Photoshop Helpfile will show whether there is a real distinction (in later versions) between the two, and whether it is possible to work with chroma as opposed to saturation.

  • Is there a difference between AirPrint and printing via usb printer plugged into an airport extreme?

My printer does not show up in the add a printer option on my iMac when plugged into the extreme. I have a HP officejet 5610 All-in-One. I want to be able to print wirelessly using my Airport Extreme.  Thank you

Is there a difference between AirPrint and printing via usb printer plugged into an AirPort Exreme?
    Big difference.
AirPrint for one will not work via USB, so you will not be able to print from an iOS device like an iPhone or iPad using this type of connection unless you look at additional software....that may or may not allow this option.
Assuming that you get the All-in-One setup using the USB port on the AirPort.......only printing is supported.
You will not be able to use any other advanced features like maintenance, scan, copy, fax, etc when the device is connected to the USB port on an AirPort.
If you plan to use the HP for other things, I would strongly recommend that you connect it to your computer.
My printer does not show up in the add a printer option on my iMac when plugged into the extreme.
This usually indicates that your printer model is not supported. Check with HP Support to see if they have any updated Macintosh drivers for the 5610 that you could download and install that might allow this.

  • Is there a difference between Thrive and Excite power connector

Is there a difference between Thrive and Excite power connector? I am asking because there are a lot of Docks for Thrive 10" tablets....... If the power connector is the same, I should be able to dock my Excite 10" onto the same Dock, and purchase a similar poer adapter?
What are your thoughts - is it possible?

As far as I know AC adapter for Thrive uses 30W and Excite only 10W AC adapter.
Have you checked specification for both devices.

Difference between billing and invoice?  How to stop PGI?

Invoice is document indicating to delivery goods and Billing is a receipt of payment
Tables are VBRK & VBRP. For flow, go to transaction VF03, enter document number and hit 'Display Document Flow' button on toolbar
vbrk and vbrp holds billing/invoice details..
    Billing Document:
Generic term for invoices, credit memos, debit memos, pro forma invoices and cancellation documents.
The tables are VBRK and VBRP.
2)-- once u do PGI the delivery document will be created . there is no way to stop it  .. the thing u can to do go to the list of created deliveries in VL09.. select the delivery doc which u created.there  u have the option of reversing the goods or canceling it.

  • What is the difference between action and workflow? How do I decide that I need an action in a transaction and not a workflow and vice versa?

    Dear Experts,
I have few doubts and request your expert inputs to clarify my doubts.
What is the difference between action and workflow? How do I decide that I need an action in a transaction and not a workflow and vice versa?
Your earliest response is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    SMTP

    Hi SMTP,
First of all, as I mentioned action is nothing but an executable work item which is designed in the workflow itself. In other words, Workflow is like your OOPS class. At run time, workflow instances are created just like objects of classes. Now, the steps designed in the workflow are called TASKS and the instances of tasks are called WORKITEMS. Now, the work items where any user action is required are called executable work items. ANd the work items where no user action is required (for example, sending an email in background) are called non-executable work items.
Whether to go with development of workflow or not depends upon your business scenario. If your requirement is only to send an email and you find any BAdi or exit where in you can write your logic then there is no need of creating a workflow. If there is a defined business process with defined users and time lines, then you can go with the development of workflows.

  • Is there any difference between 10g and 11g M Views?

    Hi,
I need to give a demo on and working examples of materialized views. The requirement is this: Master tables are in a 10g R2 DB, MV is in a 11g.
I just create a DB Link in 11g to point to the 10g DB and then create the MV in 11g.
Will there be any problems creating a 11g MV using 10 Master tables?
My question is are there any significant differences between 10g and 11g MViews??
    Thanks & Regards,
    Channa.

You have to be careful about your versions. 10g could be 10.1 or 10.2 11g could be 11.1 or 11.2
    I wouldn't have an 11.2 database with a database link against a 10.1 database.
In fact, even with 10.2, I would try to ensure that I have a "high patchset" (10.2.0.4 or 10.2.0.5) although, in theory, 10.2.0.1 should also work.

  • Is there a difference between itunes and apple tv

Sorry if this  has been asked before. Is there a difference between the content on iTunes and the content on Apple TV?
I was searching for a movie today and found differing results to begin with between the iTunes on my phone and iTunes on my ipad2, this turned out to be the price for a SD version on my iPhone and the HD version found on my iPad2. However I searched for the same movie on Apple TV and couldn't find it, hence the why I am asking if there is a difference between what's available.

Your Apple TV searches iTunes Store for either SD or HD but not both at the same time (you can change the default in settings), so if something isn't available in HD and you search using the HD default, you won't see it.

  • Is there a difference between usa and uk apple tv in terms of Pal and ntsc or they both exactly the same ?

My mate just brought me back an apple TV 3 from America and I have plugged it into my pal projector but the colours look a bit weird, I wanted to know if im imagining it or is there a difference between the USA and UK apple TV. does one have pal and one have ntsc? if so how do I change the USA one to pal ?

    Winston Churchill wrote:
I'm not sure what you are trying to tell us, there are no PAL and NTSC settings on the Apple TV, only 50/60 Hz and that has nothing to do with colour.
I thought the OP was asking WHAT the difference between PAL & NTSC is, that is why I posted the links I did.
    Maybe I misunderstood the question.

  • Are there any differences between black and white?

    Hi, this is the question:
Are there any differences between a black and a white macbook (2,0 Ghz) except the coulor? I am thinking about buying a macbook but i dont know really what to do
    Coul someone help me plz?

This page explains the differences between the two white macbooks and the black mac book: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/0.RSLID?mco=A 4791B5D&nclm=MacBook
It should answer any questions you have about all three.
The lowest price macbook has a less fast processor, and the same size hard drive as the middle priced macbook. The lowest priced one also does not have a DVD burner while the middle priced white one does and the black one.
The black macbook has a bigger harddrive then the middle priced macbook and thats about all thats different between the middle priced white one and the black one.

  • Is there any spinControl in Java? If not how can i create it. Thanks in adv

I need a controller which will increment and decrement the integer value in the textField. Just like the spin control of printdialogbox of word or netscape. How can I create it?

There is JSpinner in JDK 1.4.
If you are using an earlier version, you will need to create your own.
All you need is a JTextField and two buttons. Attach actionListeners to the buttons, and depending on which button is selected, change the JTextField value.
    Hope that helps.

  • Is there any difference between iPhotobooks and Aperturebooks

    Hello,
Can someone tell me if there is any difference in paperquality and covermaterials between iPhotobooks and books via Aperture.
I did receive my first iPhotobook: it looks good in printing and coulor, but the paper is a bit thin(cheap look). It feels the same as the paper in the books of our warehouse. Apart from the design options will the quality be better if I print it vias Aperture?
    Thanks for any comment
    Suzanne

No, there is no difference. Instance name is the same as SID.
