Is there a discount purchase price for students?

I'm want to be able to convert Word files to PDF and create PDF files from scratch, but it's so expensive.  I am wondering if anyone knows if there's a student discount available.

The answer is "yes".  Here are the Educational options:  Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for education

I bought CS5 Design Premium (Student and Teacher Edition) 3 years ago. Now I want to upgrade it but where can I find prices for Students and Teachers for upgrades?

There are no upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions. You can continue to use the version you are using, or you can buy CS6 with no special upgrade price, or subscribe to Creative Cloud. However, I believe if you still qualify, you're offered a discount on Creative Cloud.

  • Do every Premium/authorized reseller in Indonesia provide educational price for student?

Hello guys.. I'm a student in Indonesia, and want to buy macbook pro 13" i7.
I look at the website and I found educational price for student, then I tried to call and asked apple premium resellers and authorized resellers in Surabaya about that program.. However, most of them told me that they do not have educational price for student..
How to find premium resellers / authorized resellers who provide educational price in Indonesia?? and what are the required documents I should show to the store in order to get student price??
    Thank you very much..

I can not order online because it is said "not available online". Thats why I only could ask almost all authorized and premium apple reseller stores in my city at surabaya, both they said that they did not have any educational discount..

  • Valuation stragety "Net purchase price " for cost calculation

Hi,i indicate "Net purchase price" used for plan cost calculation, but if there a many PO with different venfor for this material, how the system to determine which PO price used for cost calculation?
    thanks in advance

    Hi ajai,
I agree with your point,we have 3 info record for a material and 2 are valid as such. The price maintained in  two info records are as 7.5 & 1.0 respectively(valid info records).
The last price in the purchase order (of the info those records) are 0.41(dated on 09.04.2010)  & 0.2(dated on 19.04.2010) respectively, but when we execute the cost estimation the system picks the price of 7.5  not the least price of 0.2(as its the latest purchased price).
Do let us know why and of what logic the system picks the highest price.
    Do revert.

  • Why are there so many different prices for RDS CALS

I'm needing Windows Server 2008 r2 with 10 server CALS and 10 RDS CALS. When I search for a source online I see 10 RDS CALS selling as low as 220.00 and as high as 500.00.
My question is: How do I know the lower priced item is the same as the higher prices item?

    Hi,
Microsoft has multiple licensing programs, each targeted at specific types of organizations, with different qualifications to join and different pricing.  For example, there is a licensing program for non-profits that allows
them to purchase licenses at a greatly reduced price.  The page below provides information on the different licensing programs:
    Introduction to Volume Licensing
    http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/licensing-programs/licensing-programs.aspx
Below is sample pricing for a small commercial company purchasing via Open Business licensing program, Per User based licensing, based on your scenario.  After purchasing you would log on to the VLSC site to download Server 2008 R2 installation

  • Purchase price for components in service orders

    Dear Fellow SAPPERS,
I did not find any separate forums for service management nor did I find anything for plant maintenance. As a result I have to post it in this forum since SM/CS uses lot of settings from SD. If you do not find this relevant, please point to appropriate forum for my post.
    Now the problem,
When users are entering components which are externally procured in the service order compoenent tab, the price is picking up automatically from the purchase inforecord. For some materials which are stocked and real materials we want it this way. But the client is also using generic materials like nuts, bolts, impellers etc where the purchase price is specific to the service order.
When the users are putting in a real price, the price from the purchase inforecord is overwriting the price the user entered. Then they need to reenter the price which if they forget, the purchase requisition gets a wrong price. We want to stop this overwriting of price from inforecord for certain materials.
How is this possible? We are exploring the function module CO_ZF_MAT_INFORECORD_READ where the price gets fixed from inforecord. Is modifying the funtion module the only way?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Andy.

    Hello,
Its not that easy unfortunately. The users started complaining about this behavior many months after go live. Before that the indicator Info record update was already checked in the PO. Since these materials are generic with few materials, most of the info records are already created. Now when I delete the inforecords, I get an error message inside the service order that the inforecords are deleted. So I cannot go and delete the inforecords.
This needs to be done by a program. Anybody has experience modifying the function module CO_ZF_MAT_INFORECORD_READ by implicit enhancement?? Also any links explaining all the features / functionality of implicit enhancement.

  • Last Purchase Price for a product

    Hi,
    I need some here.
Item A is made up of Item B and C (in production BOM)
Item B is in production BOM as well and is made up of Item D, E and F.
I need to calculate the Last Purchase Price of Item A, which is:
    Item C (LPP $10)
    Item D (LPP $12)
    Item E (LPP $20)
    Item F (LPP $30)
    Total Item A LPP = $72
Any suggestion of what the best approach of doing a query/ a XL report for this?

    Hi!
    1. Define BOM for Item A
    2. Link a Price List for tht.
    3. Update your child items and child price's in a price List.
    4. Click the orange Drop Down Arrow in BOM window.
    5. This will automatically calculate the Item Price for Item A and update the Price List tht linked in it's BOM
    Hope Help u !!

  • Discount Creative Cloud for Students with 2-4 Apps to choose from?

Will there be anything like this anytime soon? Like that you can choose the apps you need for a lesser price? I don't need the whole master suite and I can't afford 30€ every month for this.
I only truly need Photoshop, Indesign and AfterEffects. The others apps are not that important for me, as I have other more cost efficient or free programms for that. I would only be missing out on Illustrator, but I can live with that.
I imagine something like 3 programms for 10€ a month, that would be affordable. Or that you pay 3-5€ per app as a student. (Currently it's 19€=25$ for the first year and then 29€=38$ forevermore...)
If you are professional I can understand that you have to pay and invest that money, but as a student the pricing is just unfair. I think it's no wonder that so many people pirate Adobe programms, under that price policy monopolism. Where should you learn those programms that are required to apply for a job when they cost a fortune? What about people who have no money? Should they be denied to educate themselves?
Applause to Autodesk for offering free educational software!!!
    (This post is no utopia)

  • THIS is why there is no upgrade price for Logic Pro X

Because it's time for people stop stop convincing themselves that software manufacturers somehow 'owe them', just because they've used previous versions.
I've been using Logic in its various forms since 1995 - that's 18 years, kids - upgrading every time, and I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with their being no upgrade price.
    Reasons?
    1. At the full price, Logic X is markedly cheaper than any ProTools upgrade.
    2. It is a very powerful piece of software which can do things I could only dream of being able to do - or afford to do - for many, many years.*
Apple has delivered a piece of powerful, professional level audio production software at the remarkable price of just $200/£139.
Just two days ago people were grizzling about "We haven't seen an upgrade to Logic for years. Has Apple forgotten about it?" Well here it is. And you're still moaning!
Nobody ever said doing professional quality audio was cheap, so for goodness sake let's stop the pathetic 'world owes me a living' snivelling.
If you think it's too much, take up knitting, train spotting/railfanning or something.
No connection with Apple, just a longterm user who  remembers 'the bad old days' only too well and hates the constant whinging about everything!!
    * How many of the moaners actually remember splicing tape or endless analogue bounces to get just 16 or 20 tracks, noticeably losing quality every time?

    Dave Woof wrote:
Absolutely - I've posted the text below in a couple of other threads, but it serves to reinforce your point....
The full price of Logic Pro was reduced during the life of Logic Pro 9 to be only a fraction of the original price.  Thus, the full price today is still cheaper than the old model for upgrade prices.  Net result - just buying the new version when one comes out (e.g. Logic Pro X) costs about the same, if not less than upgrades did in the past, but with the added bonus that if you're a new customer, you pay a far cheaper price first time round.
    Everyone's a winner!
Logic Pro used to cost... $999  After Apple purchased it the price was reduced to $499, once it moved to the App Store the price was reduced to 1/5th of it's original cost at $199... so yes, stop the silly complaining.
I've invested thousands in Logic over the years.
However, I can look at it from a different perspective:
The price whining is a natural development from Apple removing the copy protection, reducing the price and promoting Logic as and upgrade to Garageband. You now have a whole new group of users, many who have never used a DAW and have little respect for the development of this software through the years or the things we used to do as engineers/musicians.... To amateurs the $199 upgrade price is ridiculously expensive to the "entitled" attitudes prevalent today. The fact that Apple isn't offering this upgrade at $50 is reason for storming the gates.
So, place the blame for the whining not so much on the users but on Apple for setting up the conditions that made it possible.
