Reader 11 isn't supported for Vista (although it has been succesfully installed).
To get it, you need to choose the option for a different language or OS and select an OS that is supported. Then it wil give you the option to download 11.
But again, not supported.

I delete A.R. 9.1 into recycle bin and delete from ADD/REMOVE under Panel Control then reinstall A.Reader 9.1 and I test one of long letter for .pdf to download, pop up sign and ask me which one, I let them find it for me instead of me choose it. Follow page it said need download for Adobe Reader but I already did twice. It does not working.
I have trouble with Adobe Flash I search Adobe Forum for it and found Google Crome that might help Adobe Player. I thought Google Chrome will work for all of Adobe Reader and Player... I realized it does not working. What is Best version for my laptop also How can I solves this problem?

Ok, Pat... I give you more information and there is office 2007 that I do not have. Maybe you want

Right after, I delete from Add/Remove under Control Panel, I check recycle bin and "New Briefcase" none
adobe on list then found Adobe icon (Adobe Reader 9.1.1) still there on desktop. I delete it and the pop
up sign said two things like Add/Remove or Shortcut. I choose Shortcut and then check Add/Remove
and program none on list... then I once again check Recycle Bin it was there I delete it... now all done.
But I have not try reinstall it. Kind to help me how to cancellation my Adobe's accounts from this Forum?

DOWNLOAD of Adobe Reader AND Bundled DRIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM?

I just downloaded and began the install of Adobe Reader. As Adobe Reader is finishing the INSTALL a window from a program DRIVER SUPPORT pops up on my computer. It says I have outdated drivers that I need to install (I HAVE NOT installed these!)
Is Adobe Reader now sometimes bundled with the program DRIVER SUPPORT? I see the icon on my desktop now.
I thought I went directly to Adobe to get the download for Adobe Reader. Did I somehow download it from a BAD site?

Interesting, I just did a web search, and the very first hit for "Adobe Reader" wasn't Adobe but someone else. In the small print they offered some kind of toolbar.
Now, Adobe don't license anyone else to host Adobe Reader. But does that mean these people are breaking the rules? Probably not. If they download their stuff but link to the official Adobe Reader download that's OK. (Though I suspect their use of Adobe's logos is questionable).

I want to make a note that I did a search on the form, using the following text
"Is there a 64 bit install for adobe reader?"
And I did not find my answer. That is why I'm posting this as a question.
So, with that out of the way....
I am getting ready to build a new computer for myself, and will be running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. Before I begin, I want to make sure I have all of my software that I want installed, and I am doing research on each program to see if there is a 64 bit version that can be installed. What I would like to do is have as many as my programs that I install be 64 bit as possible. I know that not every program will be 64 bit, but I did want to get as many of them as possible to be 64 bit applications.
As I do want a PDF reader on my computer, and I have used Adobe Reader for years, I started looking on the web site to download the current version. However, I did not see any place that I could download a 64 bit version of Adobe Reader.
That is why I'm here asking. Is there a 64 bit version of Adobe Reader that I can download? If so, where is it on the web site?
This does lead me to a follow up question. Is there a 64 bit version of the Flash Player, as well as the Shockwave player? If so, where can I download them from as well.

Again, I think you need to check the Microsoft web page, as I was able to find 64 bit versions of IE8 for download.

From that page, I am able to select a 64 bit version of IE 8 for the following Operating Systems

Windows 7 is not listed as an option as it already comes with IE8 installed by default.
Looks to me that Microsoft has already released a 64 bit version of IE8.
In fact, I went ahead and downloaded IE8 for Windows 2003 Server x64 bit, and looked at the details of the file. Each microsoft download has a digital signature associated with them, showing a date and time of when the exe was built.
According to what is shown below, IE8 for Windows Server 2003 has been around since Sunday, March 08, 2009.
So, what has adobe been doing since March of 2009? IE8 has been 64 bit for well over 2 years now (it will be 3 in March of 2012). While I know that it does take time to develop new applications, I don't think it would take 3 years for Adobe to come up with a 64 bit version of Reader that could have been built under the 64 bit platform.
