Does anyone know if a FAQ document for this forum exists anywhere? if yes, can someone put a link to it in a visible place? if not, let's create one because same questions are being asked over and over again...

No there is not. And I left the word "unfortunately" out as a FAQ will make absolutely no difference to the posting habits of many newcomers around here.
They will ignore it as they are ignoring the Oracle documentation, ignoring the search facility of these forums, and ignoring the ability of Google to find answers. Never mind ignoring netiquette and claiming that their problems are so critically urgent that we have no choice but to stop doing the work we get paid for immediately, and jump to it, assisting them for free.
The only thing that makes an impact in this regard is the old lead pipe. That needs to be swung hard at such times to clearly point out what is not acceptable.

I received a link to fill out a document on this site through email. However, when I click the link, it just directs me to my FormsCentral homepage and there are no documents for me to fill out. How do I find this document or stop myself from just being redirected to my homepage?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I have posted a few basic questions in recent times about java programming issues. Right now I am using JBuilder2005. I am relatively new to the Java progarmming community, and I don't know if JB2005 is considered evil over say, WebSphere, Eclipse, etc. But responses I have received for my basic questions (which I ended up finding my own answers to) have been less than friendly.

You gots to be crazy if you think I'm helping you with your assing. Whats JB2005 anyway? Whatever it is, it sounds like its an impediment to you knowing whats going on. Try looking in your web.xml and actually understanding how servlets work.

Well, I am not posting to ruffle any feathers, but since I have not seen any specific rules on what to post/not post other than no disruptive stuff, my question is if this forum is like a Pay forum and/or an anti Borland forum (vs a forum for exchanging information on Java programming).
While I'm at it I am trying to use a DataExpress control from JB2005 to connect to an Access Database (for practice - we have Oracle but I am practicing on Access). I select the driver
sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
then it asks for the URL, it gives me this option in the ...:
jdbc:odbc:MS Access Database
so where do I add the location of the mdb file? I can't get the control to connect. I can connect to Access if I just use code and read/insert rows of data, but I want to use a DataExpress TableDataSet control so I can load it up with rows of data from a database file in a client application. I can load up an html table of data in a servlet for display . But how can I display data the same way in a client app?
Is this forum even the correct forum for me to ask this question - or should I look for a Borland forum?

so where do I add the location of the mdb file? IYou don't. That's a mapping provided by the OS. Go to "System Controls" -> "Data Sources (ODBC)" or search the help for it if you don't find it, and set up the Access driver. -

In OBIEE mobile apps designer there is no option for multi select prompts?The navigation page gives option only for single select?Is there a work around for this?
Nic, for me the iTunes window looks like this, when I connect my iPad 3:
I select the iPad in the "devices" section of the Sidebar (use: "View > Show Sidebar" if the sidebar is hidden).
Click the "Apps" tab in the "Devices" pane.
Scroll all the way down in the Devices pane to "File Sharing" "Apps" section.
Then do I click "GarageBand" to select the documents in the right panel.
Which part is different for you? Perhaps you could post a screenshot?

I've just registered for this forum, but I needed every ounce of my technical wits to achieve that...
I was asked for a "Screen Name" so ended up with Apodida (Hi there, other "Swifty" and "Swiftie").
Then I was asked for "*Word verification by reCAPTCHA".
The problem was, no CAPTCHA image appeared. My browser (Opera) accepts all images, so I presumed a browser issue and tried Firefox... same result. IE9... same again. Chrome v23... same. Safari... same.
If you think I'm laying it on a bit thick, it's because I seem to be heading for: http://swiftys.org.uk/images/dilbert.gif
The answer was to disable JavaScript, as the page then works in a purely textual mode. Of couse, no one who needs this information will find their way here...Thanks for the answer, Apodida.
The problem is even more complicated that can be imagined.
You must have javascript enabled in order to log into the main HP Passport screen. If it is not enabled, the button to login using your username and password will not appear. If you can't log into HP Passport, you can't participate in any discussions.
However, if you've never participated in the discussion forum and do not have a forum username associated to your HP Passport account, you'll need to register a username and go through the ReCaptcha test to prove that you're a human being. If you have Javascript enabled in your browser, the ReCaptcha image will not appear on the screen. Therefore, you must disable Javascript in order to register and participate in the forum.
That is just plain dumb. It's certainly apparent to me that the discussion forum and the HP Passport website are managed by different web devs/admins who aren't talking to each other because their separate browser requirements are at conflict with each other. The end result - the users suffer, leaving the impression that HP doesn't know how to take care of their business. -

Reserved error (-7732); there is no message for this error.
I have been trying for months to link an Oracle 10g database to my Access 2010 database. I have successfully added the appropriate Oracle ODBC connection. However, when I try to import a table from the database, I get the error "Reserved error (-7732);
there is no message for this error." Really useful, isn't it? I've tried searching both the Microsoft and Oracle forums but no solution that I've seen on this error has been able to fix this. I have a Windows 7 64-bit machine, I'm running 64-bit Office
and cannot change to the 32-bit version. I have the 64-bit Oracle ODBC driver installed properly as well. Does anyone have any other information on this error? It boggles my mind why someone would come up with this error and not have any further information

As far as I know, this is known to occur with 64 bit versions of Access 2010 and Oracle Instant Client tools when the Oracle Instant Client/Data Access Components are lower than version 11.2.0.3.0.
Please try to update the Oracle data access components to version 11.2.0.3.0 or newer.

my icloud account on my new iphone does not match the user ID for itunes as it is an old apple ID. There is no password for this ID so I cant change it and it wont let me change the apple ID. Any help?
To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I can't connect my canon xp160 to my new IMAC. It does recognize it but won't print. there is no driver for this as per Canon and they state that I may not need one. thanks!1
If you want to print, then you will need a printer driver. There is no printer driver available from Apple for the MP160. And the last driver that Canon released for this model was for OS X 10.7. You may be able to install this 10.7 driver, although it is not digitally signed so Gatekeeper will block the installation. To get past Gatekeeper, you can hold down the Control key and click on the installer. A pop-up menu will appear. Select Open. You will then be given the option to install the old driver.
With the driver installed, add the printer via Printers & Scanners and see if you can print.
