Is there a fasterway to download all of the music off of my icloud onto my ipod touch

Im deploying soon and i wont have wifi to listen to my cloud, is there a faster way than by going artist to artist downloading the songs, because i have way to many songs to download one by one. thank you

I did this with a playlist that has over 6000 songs, but the "download all" feature seems to only download 100 songs at a time. After that, the rest of the songs just stay with the spinning icon, but never start. I turned off the auto lock feature, and am leaving my iPhone on the charger, and it still happens. I hit the download all button, nothing. I quit and try again, nothing. I have to restart my phone in order to download the next 100, and so on it goes. I even tried turning off iTunes Match to sync music the old fashioned way, but iTunes will not let me sync my music. I tried to manually manage my library, and only 16 of my 6000+ songs transfer. The rest of the music is greyed out, with a dotted circle symbol next to the rest of my library. Music was not purchased through iTunes, so Authorization should not be necessary. I am at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Is there a way to download all of my music at once from the iCloud

I have uploaded my music to the iTunes Match and would like to download all of the music from the cloud onto my new laptop.  Is there a faster way to do this than clicking on songs one at a time?  I alread tried holding shift and clicking with multiple songs highlighted.

  • Is there a way to deselect all of the music in iTunes at one time?

Is there a way to deselct all of the music in iTunes at one time?  I tried the Select All choice but didn't see anything after that.

    Do you mean uncheck everything?
Command click any checkbox to check/uncheck all.
What's the reason you want to uncheck everything?
If it is to select what to sync, it's easier to create playlists and sync only those playlists.
Then simply add/delete fomr a playlist to remove it from syncing.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod.  The only exception is itunes purchases.

  • How do i get all the music that i purchased back on my ipod touch 3rd generation?

how do i get all the music that i purchased back on my ipod touch 3rd generation?

    Back from where?
    Where did it go?
It should all be on your computer and included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
    Sync it back.

  • Will the new ipod software update erase all of the music off my ipod??

will the new ipod software update erase all of the music off my ipod??

Unless you plan to restore it, if all you are doing is updating the firmware then nothing will be erased from your iPod. Even if it was you just have to reload from iTunes or your back up.

  • Is there a way to delete ALL of my music off of my iTunes/computer EXCEPT for the music that's on my iPod touch?

I have old music that I have deleted from my iPod that I no longer wish to have on there, but it reappeared in my iTunes.
All of the music on my iPod I want to keep, and one other CD I've gotten since then. Is there any way to delete everything (for good, this time) except for what's already on my iPod (and another CD, too, if possible?)

I sounds like you restored the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.  In iTunes on yur computer go to iTunes Preferences. click on he Ddvices tab.  If the date of the backup file indicate that it it has the history you can restore from that backup.

  • How to download all of the music onto my computer from my ipod.

Recently my computer was restored to factory settings and I lost itunes along with all of the music that was on it. I have an ipod classic..the newer ones and I was wondering how I download the music from my ipod back onto my computer? Right now I am just downloading itunes all together.
    Thanks!

This is why maintaining a backup is basic.
    Where is your backup?
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup (terrible idea), then you can transfer itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases

  • I can no longer download anything from the new style app store on 1st gen iPod touch

Whenever I click to install an app from app store the button disappears. If I click again in the general area that the button should be, I get a green empty button, if I cclick that, it turns blue but still nothing happens. On the old style app store it used to either begin unstallion or tell me that the app wasn't compatible with my device. Now I get NOTHING. Please can someone help?!

I have the same problem with my 1st gen Touch.  It started a few days ago when I and many other 1st gen users noticed that we could no longer download podcasts directly to our iPods, and after a day or two that seemed to be fixed, but now the app store is broken for us.  For me when I try to download an app I press the button and then the graphics for the button get all jumbled.  I can see it's there but the edges and letters are all mixed up and wierd looking.  It turns green like the download button, and when I push that it turns blue and then just sits there doing nothing.  I know this isn't a problem with updating my software because anyone who knows anything about earlier models knows that they stopped updating the iOS for them a long long time ago.  This is definitely a problem on Apples end where they've made some kind of changes to the app store that break it on earlier iPods (I saw another post from a 2nd gen user who is having the same problem).  I hope Apple fixes this soon.

After an update of iTunes and the iPod, not all the music in the library syncs to the iPod. Entire "albums" are missing. Any suggestions?

Yes I've done a reset but it made no difference.
