Is there a faxstf pro guru here?

I like faxstf pro and want to make it work out, that and I bought it so I want to make the money worth it.
Where faxstf comes up short for me is the lack of ability to add additional documents to an outgoing fax.
Tech support says there is no way but I thought I'd read somewhere online that it can be done but I cant find the answer.
I much appreciate any clues or help with this, I dont want to have to go back to using Winfax on my PC.
G5 SP1.6, 19 LCD, 19CRT 3GB RAM RAID 0   Mac OS X (10.4.4)   iMac G5 17" 2.0 quieter with the hacked cpu fan housing

Thanks for the info.
I find the same that people prefer Pagesender over faxstf.
I've been using the trial version of Pagesender, which is fully operational, and find many faxes have errors and/or incomplete pages as well as trouble capturing and disconnecting from the modem.
Faxstf hasnt exhibited any of these problems.
I believe I saw mention somewhere that Faxstf has the capability of attaching additional documents to a fax, albeit "complicated", the method wasnt explained there and I havent been able to locate anyone that knows how.
I just want a complete OSX fax program that has the capabilities of Winfax 10.
Unfortunately it looks like this is only a dream

  • My Daughter did not sinc pictures to her MacBook pro or her icloud.  Is there a way to recover the photos even if they appear to be lost on an iPad.

Daughter lost all her photos from her ipad 2, She did sinc to macbook pro or her icloud. ipad froze and she had to restart it or something like that. lost pictures. Is there a way to restore them on ipad?

Unfortunately, you have done the equivalent of putting a bunch of photos through a shredder, for all practical purposes.  Some of them may be recoverable, if you pay an expensive recovery service to take apart the iPad and read the data directly out of the hardware...  emphasis on may.  There are no guarantees.
If this were a Mac or Windows machine, you could download some file recovery software and use that, but that is not possible on an iPad.  Apps are not given direct access to the iPad's file system.  I doubt even Apple's apps have that kind of access.  Apple would have to build a file recovery tool into the basic system, and they'll probably never do that because then people would expect it to "just work," which is an impossibility for something like this.
Sorry to be so strongly negative, but it's best you rip off the Band-Aid fast and give up on any false hopes you may have.  Those pictures are gone, and even spending $800- $1500 on recovery will probably not bring all of them back, possibly not any.

  • Is there a live chat forum here on this site? I can't seem to find one

It seeems to me like there should be one. Is there?
    To get problems resolved quicker?
Or is there a popular website that mac users use more?
    Thanks.

    Hi, Christopher.
As noted, there's no live chat here.
According to one of your other posts, you have a new computer: a MacBook Pro. It should still be under warranty.
It comes with a one-year hardware warranty and 90 days of free, telephone-based tech support for problems like the one you've been posting about elsewhere, i.e. you can't "turn if off" or, more precisely, it won't shut down, as you've posted here.
If you want to talk to someone, call AppleCare at 1-800-275-2273 and take advantage of your warranty.
You paid for the warranty (it's factored into the price of your computer) so you should use it.
If you're beyond the 90 days, then I suggest you buy an AppleCare Protection Plan, which extends the hardware warranty by an additional two years and gives you three years of telephone-based support. If you think it's a waste of money, try pricing a replacement LCD for your Mac: the AppleCare Protection Plan is cheap insurance.
Whether questions are answered or unanswered here, particularly by "the regulars," can often depend on how well they are written. See my "Obtaining Help Online" FAQ for some tips on writing better posts than "it won't turn off."
PS: As a tip for future question posts, please fill in your Discussions settings with complete information about your Mac (specific model, RAM, hard drive size, Mac OS X version, etc.). Click "My Settings" in the "Welcome yourscreenname" box in the upper-right corner of this page, then add those details to the "Computer" field therein. Use the "Other Computer Information" field if additional space is required.
    Good luck!

  • FAXstf PRO quitting unexpectedly

My FAXstf PRO has been quitting unexpectedly. I open the program and in 3 seconds it quits. I have the latest update and it was working fine after I installed Snow Leopard.
Is there any clue or discussion about this matter?
    I would appreciate any help.

  • Is there any RIM rep. in here? Did they notice what's happening? I can't move data from Z10 to Q10

Is there any of RIM representative here???
I know this is a common issue, I see many members from forums, here, crackberry, and many others experiencing problems with BlackBerry Link.
    1. I can't switch device from Z10 to Q10, 1st it says my Q10 has old software, I have updated to the latest, now it says please make sure my device is connected and retry, I press retry and always failed to detect (for restore data from Z10 backup to Q10) other than that, it can detect my Q10.
    2. To restore data from backup you have to sign in to BlackBerry ID first and it makes your BBM contact transferred without the others, contact, SMS, calendar, notes, alarms, settings, etc. I'm thinking of moving back to Z10 and afterwards all my open chats in Z10 just disappear, I still have importants chat containing appointments, addresses, price negotiation, hotel reservations, argh this is frustrating because every time I wanted to restore to new device it will ask to sign in again, and how is it going to decide which is my valid PIN on the other side of my BBM's contact if I keep switching device like this back and forth..
Why can't it be like the old days of OS 4, 5, 6, 7 and 7.1?
Where we can make full or partial backups and restore it to any device and any OS?
Didn't you make a proper test and research before releasing OS10 and BlackBerry Link on the market? (This question goes to RIM's rep. where ever you are)
If you wanna make all of your customers run away because your and software have issues, you've made it
This is my last bad experience with BlackBerry prior to OS10
Laughable poor camera on 9900 I can't take photos of receipts and documents, and I have to charge 3 times a day (this is supposed to be a "mobile" phones? I always ended up with dead battery when I'm mobile, and I have to stuck on charger for hours waiting to charge)
And now this .... Come on RIM do something please we really like your device...
Devices I like the most are 9700 and 9780, except for desktop manager that is not backing up auto text. Great camera, great battery life.
Btw I have use the latest release of Link but still can't restore data.
    Solved!

Because BB10 was not an evolution from BBOS...it is completely new, and sadly they did not take all of the prior design considerations and use them when they created BB10 and it's associated toolsets.

That functionality, while requested by many, has not been implemented. There is no way for anyone here to know if/when it will ever be so.
It seems like the rest of your post was mostly commentary or directed at audiences not in this public user-to-user community, so I'll just leave those alone.

  • HT5622 My daughter is using my Apple ID and she needs her own!  Is there a way to get her music to her acct

My daughter is using my Apple ID and she needs her own!  Is there a way to get her music to her acct

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to transfer ownership of music.
Ideally you should each have your own iCloud account, that way you can each manage your own mail, contacts, calendars, documents etc and avoid unintentional deletions and unwanted editing. If there is information you wish to share between you, this can be done with a secondary account.
Having separate iCloud accounts, doesn't mean you have to have separate iTunes accounts, so whilst you keep your personal data separate, you can continue to share music, apps, books, TV shows, movies etc.
However, you should also consider, she will likely want her own account one day and it may mean she leaves even more music behind if she waits.

hey. i'm about to travel to thiland and i'm thinking to buy there Macbook air\pro. how can i tell if it's fake?
    thnks

If possible, I'd make sure to register it on Apple's online system at first start IN THE STORE, and verify it is a kosher serial number before walking out. That way you'll be sure to be covered by the warranty. If the machine is fake, Apple's system won't accept the serial number. If it is stolen and already registered to someone else, it won't accept the repeat registration.

My mom got the iPad mini for Christmas and she gave me her old iPad but she is still receiving all my messages on her mini. Is there a way to stop her from getting them?

If she is receiving your messages - then you must have somehow setup the iPad to use your iPhone number or your email address on her new iPad. How you did that is beyond me unless you set up her new Mini for her and used your Apple ID on it.
On her iPad got to - Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>uncheck your phone number or email address of that is what is being used for the contact number.

When my husband set up my iPad, he imported my daughter's phone contacts.  Is there a way to delete her contacts and import my own?

The iPad must always be synced to one computer using the Apple ID that it was originally synced to. Otherwise all apps & files will be deleted. There's no way to retrieve once erased.
Is there a backup on a different computer?

Padding on the bottom only fixes the problem BUT IS NOT the source of the problem, that is the default margins on the paragraph tag. I would forget trying to understand why you need padding and look more towards what causes the issue. If you know what the real source of an issue is then you  can generally fix it quite easily. What solution you use to fix it is then something you can decide upon.

Take it to an authorized service center or Apple Store in the country where the phone originated.  Apple does not sell iPhones in Pakistan, nor will they ship them to Pakistan.

My daughter wants a new Mac Pro; however, she will be living in London, England (we live in New Mexico).  My question is...Must she buy a "special" Mac Pro for her needs in London, or can she use an adaptor for power?

Your welcome.  Most electronics have universal power supplies that can deal with overseas power standards - before she starts getting lots of adaptors with transformers, check the manual or specifications online for her equipment.  Often a simple adaptor that just adapts the physical US style plug to the UK style, or even better and cleaner, a new power cord, is all that is required.  Found this out when I went overseas myself last year.  And it can be overwhelming at first!
