Is there a fix for "ebay" listing "duration" problem?

This is what happens "every time" I list a new item for sale on Ebay and get to the choice of "listing duration".
You normally have a choice of days (1,3,5,7,10). It's always set on one of them before I attempt to change it. It is usually on 3 days, but I almost always change it to "5 days". Unfortunately, when I choose "5 days" it automatically snaps back to 3 days. I end up trying to change this 15-20 times before I can get it to stick.
Called Ebay support, and they suggested I change browsers. So, I did. Went back to IE and did not have the same problem at all.
Just for fun, I went back to Firefox and again, as usual ... same problem. Just keeps snapping back to something I don't want.

I believe one of your addons is causing this problem. You can try disabling them on your own and see if that solves the problem. To do that quickly, use Firefox's Safe Mode by doing these steps:
*Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], click Help [[Image:Help-29]] <br>and select '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled....'''
*Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog. <br>Click the '''Start in Safe Mode''' button.

This problem sort of solved itself. The iPod kept running until the battery went dead, and when I plugged it in to power this morning, it behaved normallyh.

Generally that either means someone hacked your email account and sent the emails from your account, or one of your Windows using friends has a virus. You can check to see if your account was hacked by looking at your sent items folder. If it was sent from your account, it would be in the sent items folder. If it was accessable from the Web, check whatever webmail interface you have.
The more common opition is that it is a virus on one of your friend's Windows computer that uses his email contact list to spoof the return address of the spam it sends out. The email is sent from somewhere else, but uses your email address as the return address.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

On some of the tabs I pin to the top of the browser as an "app" the website icon is simply a dotted square!? Others have the web-logo. Is there a fix for that or procedure I am missing?

If the web site doesn't provide a Favicon, Firefox uses the default "icon". As of Firefox 8.0 that default icon is the blank dashed square, where earlier versions used an icon that was a bit narrower and looked like a sheet of paper with the upper-right corner folded over.

Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.

Toggling the Application Frame off improves the hiding 'feature' but this does not include the desired continuous floating in front of palettes in all circumstances.
An example is Blending Options, then chose Stroke, then chose the Color Picker. After clicking OK, the Blending Options dialog now sits behind the palettes. One trick is to click on another app, then back to cs6 to force a window redraw.
It sure would help me if this could be solved. I am preparing educational videos and this display bug makes things very troublesome.

The setting for the graphics check box Does Not make a difference. If I have a new document window open, then add a layer, then open the blending options > drop shadow > edit the color > the chooser dialog opens, and immediately both dialog windows drop behind the palettes AND any document windows.
The same behavior for the Preferences dialog > guides > color.
The quick workaround is to click another app, then back to CS6. A real pain, of course.
It is only a factor when opening a second (child) dialog box.
Other CS6 apps do work correctly (eg. FW AE)

Title says it all. I just upgraded to Mac OS X Lion, and can no longer use a finger swipe, whether one or 2 fingered, to move backwards an forwards between pages. I can still do so in Safari, but not in Firefox 5.01, my preferred browser, any longer. Doesn't matter if I try using one, two or more fingers
