Is there a fix for long "spindle" delays after the 10.6.8 upgrade?

After I downloaded the 10.6.8 upgrade and even the combo pack I get very long delays. Only reverting the system back to 10.6 helps.
Any ideas?

After doing a Software Update, AirPort has been having serious connection issues. It cannot find wireless networks where the *Wireless SSID Broadcast is DISABLED*. My iPhone finds the networks perfectly, every time. I am forced to input the network manually every time through "Join Other Network...", even though the network is saved on the Advanced list in Network Preferences.

Everything is pretty much defaulted to the default settings for the router. I have also another Linksys Router that is having the same problems. These used to work before perfectly BEFORE the MacBook 10.5.8 updates...
*Previous Methods in Trying to Resolve Issue:*
-Deleting AirPort connection in Network Preferences and re-adding it
-Deleting the "com.apple.airport.preferences.plist" file in /Library/Preferences/etc.
I'm at a loss here... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reset your network settings ...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
Then restart your iPad then try audio.

Is there a fix for BTServer constantly crashing on the 4g?

It happens multiple times a day and so far my only "fix" is to power cycle.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

I had the same thing yesterday. After google gave me nothing and after I was sure my phone had enough charge to restart, I did a reset on my phone...
Holding down the Power button, volume button and selector button on the front - for about 30 secs (or untill I knew the beeping had stopped).
I cant remember if I then restarted it or it it restarted itself, but now its back to normal! No memory loss from the phone either.
Freeked me out as its a new iphone 4s but glad to have it back! Without having to take it to get fixed by a pro.

I am having a similar problem. I have over 4000 songs giving me this error. I certainily don't want to go in one by one and find them. I know you wrote a script for Windows but I am a Mac user. Is there a fix for me? Here is the info on where the song is currently (used by doing the get info)

Content rented anywhere else other than on a computer can only be watched on the device it is rented from. If you want to watch a rental on multiple devices, rent it from the computer.

Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have you been through any, if not all of these troubleshooting steps yet?

Title says it all. I just upgraded to Mac OS X Lion, and can no longer use a finger swipe, whether one or 2 fingered, to move backwards an forwards between pages. In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? If so, I'd like to learn how to get it back too and "Show Item Info" is not the way.

Have you tried going to System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy and dragging your hard drive into the box then drag it back. That will trigger a re-index.

( I am using 2 monitors where the second monitor is set to be the menu display. cs4 does not exhibit this bug. )
Toggling the Application Frame off improves the hiding 'feature' but this does not include the desired continuous floating in front of palettes in all circumstances.
An example is Blending Options, then chose Stroke, then chose the Color Picker. After clicking OK, the Blending Options dialog now sits behind the palettes. One trick is to click on another app, then back to cs6 to force a window redraw.
It sure would help me if this could be solved. I am preparing educational videos and this display bug makes things very troublesome.

The setting for the graphics check box Does Not make a difference. If I have a new document window open, then add a layer, then open the blending options > drop shadow > edit the color > the chooser dialog opens, and immediately both dialog windows drop behind the palettes AND any document windows.
The same behavior for the Preferences dialog > guides > color.
The quick workaround is to click another app, then back to CS6. A real pain, of course.
It is only a factor when opening a second (child) dialog box.
Other CS6 apps do work correctly (eg. FW AE)
I have yet to get a handle on this. Mac OSX 10.6.8 CS6 13.0 x64

It will connect via bluetooth but when I go to connect the usb charger it states that it is not compatible or you never get the charging display on your iPhone 5. It charges just fine when I use the AC charger in the house. At first I thought it may have been the cord but the same cord works fine in the house too. This causes problems when you take long trips and don't have any way to charge your phone while on the road. Are there any upcoming fixes/iupdates either to the software or usb cord that will fix this?
