is there a free version of Adobe to allow me to convert Excel and word files to PDF's

Nothing free no.
At best there is a subscription you can purchase for a relatively low monthly price ($7.50 per month) that can be accessed through Adobe Reader (which is free).

I wonder if there is any free edition of adobe photoshop !

See Photoshop.com or the Photoshop Express applet.
Photoshop Elements is a lower cost version.
And the student discount reduces the price greatly.

  • How can I get serial numbers or the free versions of Adobe, Air, Flash Player 14, and Reader XI Pro

How can I get serial numbers or the free versions of Adobe, Air, Flash Player 14, and Reader XI Pro that I had installed on my computer before Microsoft crashed my computer and I had to do a fresh install? I finished reinstalling Win 8.1Pro on my computer thanks to Microsoft Lvl 1 Techies corrupting my Command Structure so nothing would work. I had recently taken a picture of my installed programs (control panel, uninstall programs list) so that I would be able to reinstall everything I needed. I can't seem to find an email for the Reader which I remember paying for, the others I believe were free installs. Can anyone help me out.

Safari Version 5.0.5  <  from your first post
5.0.5 is an outdated version of Safari.
There is an update available for Safari for version 5.1.1
    That may help.
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen the click Software Update
Restart your Mac after the updates are installed.
    Try full screen ...
If you have problems using Software Update from the menu you can use the standalone installer here >  Safari 5.1.1

  • Is there a network version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 9?

Is there a network version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 9?  If not, are their volume licenses available?
What additional adobe products need to be purchased in order to run Adobe Acrobat 9 on a network?
Is there a licensing system that allows, for example, 4 licenses to be purchased that allows any user on the network to use Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 so long as only a maximum of 4 users are using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 at any one time.
    Thanks

Graffiti's right, there is volume licensing available for most any Adobe product, where you get a single activation key for multiple systems and are able to administer your license via an easy web-based tool, plus you also get a price break on the order...
But you don't necessarily have to call Adobe Sales for pricing, as there are now online volume stores open in Europe, the UK, and North America, with no "signature" contracts to sign.
And oddly enough just for Acrobat, Adobe's got a volume special offer on now through most of April – buy 4, get 1 free.

    Hope this helps!

I used to use the free version of Adobe Reader to convert my publisher files to pdf files. When I was making a booklet for our hockey team, it said I had to buy it. Now I bought it and it won't convert the files. I am ready to throw this computer out the window!! Can you tell me what is the problem? No it does not exceed 100 M. either.

Adobe Reader never converted Publisher files to PDF, for free, never. I suspect you use to have the (paid for) Adobe Acrobat. Sometimes people have Acrobat (more than $300 worth) and install Adobe Reader over the top, losing that valuable software.
That said, if you subscribed to PDF Pack it should do this conversion. What exactly happens now.

  • Editing free version of Adobe Reader 10.1.8.

I have the free version of Adobe Reader 10.1.8.  Using Google Chrome I was able to download a PDF document from the internet and save it as a PDF document on my computer.  I now want to delete pages in that document and save the modified document as a new PDF on my computer.  The free version of Adobe Reader does not seem to allow you to do that.  Do I need a different Adobe/Acrobat product?

Yes, you need Acrobat. You can use the free 30-day trial version to do it, and then decide if you want to purchase a license.

  • Can highlight color be changed on the free version of adobe reader?

can the highlight color be changed on the free version of adobe reader?

You could possibly "insert" the .eps into a MS Word file (or most desktop publishing applications) and view it that way. Other than that you would need something like Adobe Illustrator to work with the file.
Of course another option would be to use Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF of the file...
