Recently I've attanded SAP TechEd 2011 LV and there I also searched for an ansver to this question.
What I learned is that SAP is not going to publish any newer version of SAP CS and will let Partner Products to be used as Content Server for SAP DMS, PLM and other DMS based scenarios.

I just bought a PowerMac dual G5, because I didn't see a point going to the Intel based ones, as I could just buy a PC at that point. I was hoping that Mozilla would keep making a browser for the PowerPC based Mac's running 10.5. Seems everyone is discontinuing application support for the PowerPC version of Mac OS 10.5. I wanted to know if there was one in the works or not. I know mozilla is still supporting Windows XP, which is a much older operating system than Mac OS 10.5.

3.6.x versions are the last from Mozilla for PPC's.

Is there a future for Iweb in Icloud?

What will happen to our websites? I've heard that apple has extended their patent, that iweb is done when icloud appears, DOES anyone know if they let us know if they will let us know before they cut the cord?

There has been no official word on the fate of iWeb, iDisk, or web hosting. There has been no official word on what features of iCloud will require Lion and iOS 5 and what will work on earlier OS versions. I'm sure Apple will let everyone know the answers sometime within the next 12 months.

Is there a future for Broadband Talk?

I've just read that the BT Home Hub 3 isn't compatible with any of the BT Hub Phones and doesn't support BT Broadband Talk.
I like the features of BBTalk and I like the Hub Phones, but I don't like dialling out on a different number than I expect people to call me on, so I use my BBTalk number as my primary number.
If it's going to be phased out, then this will be a serious nuisance.

I just clicked on the Find out more link of the Broadband Talk Softphone section from the Broadband Talk configuration page and you get a Page not found message. :-(
I get it that new customers don't get BBTalk but I want qualification of the statement "If you ordered before this date you can still continue to use your Broadband Talk service."

Hi, i'm just about to finish college this year and have worked with lots of programming languages during my time in college but found java to be the most interesting... After a while i got into making games in java with the help of the java 3d api. I'm interested in going into this market when i finished colelge but i was just wondering...

That was 75% of the reason. It was waaaaay overpriced.
The ports being on the bottom, where no one could get at them, was another big reason it was not accepted by the public.
I am among those who have been pushing for a desktop system with a mini-like footprint, but imac-like performance -- but I've been advocating this since before the Mini existed.
One idea I put forward in my Mac User Group's newsletter was for a machine just slightly taller than a mini that docks into a cinema display-type monitor. This would allow apple to sell them together for an imac experience, or separately.
Regardless of whether or not they did the docking thing, this is the computer system that could really bring about great Mac acceptance in the corporate world. But of course Apple ignores that space and seem deaf to the needs of industry.

Future for Visual Composer

A consultant told our department manager that SAP was not going to enhanse Visual Composer; that it would only get bug fixes. I think he may have confused 7.0 with 7.1/7.2. Is there a future for Visual Composer or is it a waste of time.

I prefer to warn you about my complete addiction to this software.
There's many discussions on this forum and others, on how you deal with Fireworks "improvements". Some say that you are in the process of discontinuing this program, others of a possible resale ... I even read some arguments about switching to Creative Commons license.
All this is the literal translation of a sincere concern!
Can you give us some answers on the future of Fireworks?

From the looks of it, the writing is already on the wall. I own a Creative Cloud subscription and one of the main benefits touted for the Creative Cloud is regular updates and bug fixes. And every other app like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Bridge, Lightroom, the Edge Tools, etc. have seen multiple nice updates as part of the Creative Cloud subscription which has made me a big fan of Creative Cloud.
All except for Fireworks.
Not a single update or bug fix has occured for Fireworks in Creative Cloud. Even for the simplest of things. I have reported typos in Fireworks that still have not been fixed. In fact, I think the only app in Creative Cloud that has not been updated is Fireworks.
So like I said, it seems the writing is on the wall. It's a shame too because even with its lack of care, it works phenomenally well for designing user interfaces. But now others are starting to catch up and people seem to be switching to alternatives because Fireworks appears to be a dead end.
Without Fireworks, Adobe doesn't have a single UI design app in their portfolio and in particular it seems lots of UI designers are jumping ship now from Adobe to Bohemian Coding and their Sketch app. I'm dumbfounded that Adobe has allowed this to happen.
From what I understand, the Sketch app is created by just two people which makes the inability to keep Fireworks updated all the more baffling.

Yes. It is a good Netweaver technology & u can either try as a developer or at Admin side. But there r good oppurtinities as a XI Developer.

XI is configuration type & maximum stuff wil be mapping . But , sometimes there arises a need to import JAVA code into XI. Hence if u know JAVA/J2EE it's a added advantage.

There's no way, at least at this time, that you can schedule a future date for pickup. If you're not going to be in Hong Kong until November, you'll have to submit your reservation at that time.
Please be aware, if you are not already, that the warranty on the iPhone is not international. So unless you live in China, I would strongly suggest that you buy your iPhone in your country of residence, waiting until the iPhone 5 is released there if it has not been already.

For your RS-232 output, in this case you reference a scale, there are some good hardware solutions (Digi One SP Serial to Ethernet converters) This will allow you to port your scale data over Ethernet to your server. Now, for processing your scale data, there are various OPC drivers out there (U-CON for example from Kepware) I mention UCON because it has prebuilt protocols for parsing scale data. From here you can configure your scale output as an OPC topic. You can configure your OPC server to keep the old value resident, until a new value comes in. In this case, with a scale it would update asynchronously when your scale pushes out a new value. (I just did an application like this)
Now if youu2019re going with MII 12.1 and Pco great, then you can do event driven transfers. But if youu2019re like the majority of us, using 12.0 or lower. Then your best bet is to store the value in some intermediate area such as a relational database, then schedule a transaction to forward it to SAP. This way you have a store and forward capability. If you don't have a process historian, there are also several commercially available OPC to RDBS tools out there (Software toolbox makes one called OPC to ODBC) There are also others out there as well.

Is there any API for FND Attachments. I would like to load the concurrent output generated as an attachment to the record.
So I'm planning to write PLSQL to read the file and load in to fnd_lobs. Later I would like this attachment available thru UI.
Looking for Public or Private APIs to achieve above task.
