So I bought a brand new 80gb iPod video because I thought it's the shizz, thinking since it's from Apple, it has to be better than other brands of mp3 players. And since they make them commercials about how great they are over Windows, I believed they're a company of their words (I'm a sucker for nonsensical commercials). To my dismay, iTunes 7 recognize my new iPod. It states this whenver I try to connect:
iTunes cannot read the content of the iPod "IPOD". Go to the Summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings.
So I look around to see where I can Restore it, and nowhere can I find it, no options to choose. This is my first time using iTunes by the way, so I didn't know that it had to at least make a connection to the iPod to even have that option. So I went to the diagnostics and followed every steps on the Help page they lead me to. Well none of them work. Now I'm really impatient. I go to Apple's page and found that people are having a major issue with it, many that I have yet to have the pleasure of experiencing since I can't even connect to iTunes yet. I read around and try to revert back to an older iTunes, and surprise, it doesn't support my new Gen5 iPod, because it's too new! And it tells me to upgrade to iTunes 7! Arrg! So desperate, I installed iTunes on my other computer, and my labtop, and none of them worked. Now I don't know what to do. Obviously I can't get help from Apple support, I tried. And in this forum not too many have the same problem as I do.
So please if anyone have any solutions I would appreciate it. I don't have a problem with iTunes, I just want it to at least work so I can enjoy my iPod that I spent so much on.

    There should have been a printed quick start guide in the package. Beyond the quick start there is complete documentation for the Nano on the installation CD, in a folder called User Guides and Information and then one more folder below that is the language that the documentation is printed in. Difficult to include complete printed documentation in 14 different languages.
    As for your second question, information on how to contact Apple directly is located at http://www.apple.com/contact/
    BUT you may want to troubleshoot you issue here first. On some occasions my iPods will do the same behavior you describe.... Try closing iTunes and reopen it, if after the update process is complete it still shows "Do not disconnect", locate your iPod in the left hand column of iTunes, if it is displayed then click on the eject icon to the right of your iPod's name. Hopefully this will eject the iPod and have the Do Not Disconnect warning disappear.

Contacted verizon rep...reorder my phone again..but sorry we cannot give the same price as quoted on 21April...even though...its our mistake...Ok...Ok..what a surprise..but we can do this...after 65 minutes...found a price that was a little bit more...fine...just order the phone....I reordered phone on 28April...on the April 29...no email..so I can Verizon for the 4times in a few days..sorry your order was delay due to our Fraud dept. OK...talked to fraud dept...ok..account is good..will release phone and ship. OK...Next day, no email with deliver confimation. Contact Verizon 5 times now...sorry..your order was cancelled...YES...cancelled again...2nd time now...but we can reorder...OK...sorry but we cannot honor that price that was quoted..really...agent messed up...again...but we can do this for you....I don't understand...your mistake...ALL the times...
    Strange ...how my order gets cancelled twice by Verizon's mistake....yet you cannot honor prices that your agents quoted!!!
    I didn't reorder the phone....I cannot in good faith same with a company that does not stand behind their own mistakes...and worse...they make the poor customer pay for it...
    I will not be renewing my contact...its time to Cricket Wirless...which my sister-in-law loves for half the cost....

    I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
    VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
    1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
    2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.

    You could uninstall QT7 and re-download QT 6.5.2. I had to do that to keep watching Cisco IP-TV content in a stand-alone player.

    You would need Camera Raw 7.3 or later to open those files. Adobe is not going to update CS4. You can either get a newer version of Photoshop that comes with a current version of Camera Raw, or you can use the DNG converter to save your files down to the ACR version that works with CS4.

    Set your burn speed to a lower setting (iTunes prefs -> Advanced - Burning).
    Also, make sure you CD/DVD burner firmware is up to date.

    Are you are trying to provide  Apple - Aperture - Feedback or Apple - iPhoto - Feedback?

    Lightroom supports this camera's RAW photos. Use Lightroom 5.7.1

    If you are hosting the site on business catalyst then you integrate the forum's module in your muse site, just like how blogs are integrated. I don't have an tutorial video on forums integration in Muse, but the process outlined in the one below, which is for blogs, would be very similar to integrating the forums as well.

    There's less money to be made from compatibility than there is from "forced upgrades."  Why would AVID be concerned with their older product working with the new OS when they can release another version for people to pay $250+ for?  Free bug-fix download vs. latest software upgrade?  You've got two companies with virtual monopolies on the pro audio market.  It's a win-win for them.
    So what does that say to me about the handful that do not?  The incompatibility is a marketing decision, not a shortcoming.
    Am I close?

    All I had to do was complain.  I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store.  I have no idea why.
