Is there a gui element that supports scrolling?

I want to show a modal dialog root element is higher that the screen height. Is there a property to enable scrolling or an element that can be used as a wrapper (scrollpane or something like that)? Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of - and please report if you figure a way...
So far I have solved this problem by breaking up the content into tab views.
In one case, I put a radio button in front of each item, then a pair of DIY scroll buttons which walked the radio button selection until end of page detected then automatically switched to the next tab view...
PS. +1 vote: auto-scrolling dialog boxes.

Although someone mentioned about the 865PE Neo3-F which maybe one but no one can confirm this as none of the manufacturers has brought it up yet but the fact that Prescott moving on to 64bit may be possible.

I have an iPod touch 2nd generation (not jailbroken), and I was curious as to if there will be an update for GarageBand that will support iOS 4.2.1, because I am a music maker, and plus I already bought GarageBand before discovering it doesn't work, so I don't want to end up having wasted five dollars on something that won't work with my device.

Versions of Photoshop or Elements That Support GIFs?

Which versions of Photoshop or Elements allow you to open a GIF file and edit all of the frames simultaneously, then resave as GIF? This would be for frame resizing, for example.
I have Photoshop Elements 10, and I am not able to File | Open on a GIF file.

All photoshop elements versions are supposed to, but i believe that was a bug, because the gif plugin from photoshop cs4 was shipped with pse 9 by mistake.
(i believe it was fixed in pse 10 on the windows side)
If you want to edit gif animations, it's better to save a master psd file and edit that and then save as an animated gif.
(The above pertains to pse 10 on windows, the mac side is more complicated)
On the mac side it seems all the pse versions from pse 6 to pse 10 have that problem.
On a mac pse 11 or pse 12 seem to work as expected.
(pse 4 is to old, but works as well for animated gifs)

I am getting 'there is no carrier that supports the installed sim card in iphone' but my phone is showing the screen with the usb to be connected to itunes. Am I to leave it plugged to the pc because its still updating or is something wrong?

Not knowing what steps were included in "all the troubleshooting possible with Apple people," I'll suggest you give the phone a chance to reprovision your cellular account.
First turn off Wi-Fi. Then power off your phone. Hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the power off slider. Then slide to power off. Turn the phone back on. After the phone starts watch to see if No Serive is displayed. Hopefully after 15-30 seconds that will change to the name of your cellular service provider and finally indicate LTE or 4G as well as include some dots indicating signal strength. You can then turn Wi-Fi back on.

you can import that file in itunes, verify it plays, then attempt to sync to ipad with itunes. I have had limited success, cause some of the versions will not transfer.

You can try looking on the Apple Store Webstie under their speakers. You can then filter by Portable and by Airplay. Most of the speakers are expensive though. If not, you can try these websites.

Inserting complex object structures with elements that does exist

hi, i have following problem:
i have a big structure that contains some m:n relations. some elements may already exist. if i want to write a new structure i just have unique key informations to identify the object. the primary key is generated by a sequence.
if there is an element that is already in the database and the structure gets inserted, i get a SQLException because of an error in unique constraint.
i use the function uow.deepMergeClone(pl); to insert the structure. it spreads about 6 tables.
has somebody any suggestions, how to handle that, without parsing this big structure?

As a ColdFusion developer for the last 10 years, it's frustrating that so much is catered to php and asp. I'll want to find a simple module that is common and shouldn't have to be reinvented and only find it in php and asp. If I didn't have so much invested in CF, I'd be tempted to jump ship. I really don't want to, but CF is not supported like the others. Having vented, I do have to say that I've created some very cool, powerful apps with CF (online testing, conference setups from start to finish, etc.). I was actually surprised to see that PayPal even had sample code for CF.

Apple only supports Windows on certain hardware.

Apple provides their framework for Windows to run on a Mac, a piece of software called a Hybrid MBR that bridges the gap between how Windows reads the drive partition table (MBR) and EFI/GUID partition table that Mac's use.
It doesn't mean Windows can't run on your Mac, a third party solution called rEFIt will also bridge the gap and allow booting of more that just Windows, Linux as well for a triple booting computer.
Your hardware has to meet the other requirements the second and third operating system needs as as being able to install drivers that will work for your hardware, especially the fans or they will run loud and fast by default.

Is there a Plug-In that will enable automated sequential numbering of a particular item of text, independent of any of the other InDesign cues? Have some very large instructional book documents that have a main numeric element that is sequential and independent from page numbering or anything else that REALLY NEEDS to be automated.
