I have 3 iPhones in my house and 1 apple tv.
I do NOT set a password on my apple tv, so any iPhone can send video to the tv.
Any iPhone can use the apple remote option also.
Just play a video and click that square with an arrow and play on apple tv. The video comes up from any iPhone in my house.
Same goes for pics, etc

Are there plans to update livecycle designer to conform with the CC Family of Tools?

I am relatively new to using adobe LiveCycle Designer. I have to say it's a pretty great piece of software. There are some things in it that really bother me though.
For example, you can't just drag guides from the rulers. There's no smart guides. The shortcuts that work in every other program don't work for LC.
The design is 1990 ish and a myriad of other small annoyances. I was just wondering if Adobe has plans to rework LCD to conform to the CC Family Standards.
Don't get me wrong LiveCycle is the only program in it's class and has been a tremendous help. I just feel it's not up to adobe standards.
Also, Where's the mac version? I've been having to run ES3 in VMWare due to the fact I only wanted LC Designer and not all the other phooey that comes with it.

Designer was initially a product from a company named JetForm which was acquired by Adobe in 2002 and its interface hasn't been changed that much by Adobe.
Here some hints for you:
If you double click a ruler you'll be able to edit the Drawing Aids.
You can set snap to grid or to guideline etc.
In ES3 and newer you also can activate orientation by page center or other objects which is quite similar to the smart guides you may know from InDesign.
Draging guides from the rulers also works, but only from the upper left corner, not for every ruler separately.
From the Extras menu you also can create your own shortcuts.
There has never been a MAC version of Designer and I think there never be one.

The short answer is have your friend burn those tracks to CDs and then import them into your iTunes library.
For lllaass: Its obvious you have never been to a Dead show, so we'll cut you some slack. The tracks in question were never purchased, they were taped live during the show. The Greatful Dead has always reserved "front row center" for a group affectionately called "tapers," because they always came prepared to record each show, and owing to the fact that no two shows were the same, some of those tapes are one of a kind..... I have taped shows myself, namely the shows at RFK Stadium in DC, and the Coliseum in Charlotte NC.

I doubt I can get one where I live tomorrow, but with a bit of luck and expanded budget, this may be the solution. I bought the 30 inch cinema display to add another monitor so what is a "few" more dollars? I have heard wonderful things about the ultra chrome inks.
If you don't mind telling me about how you connected (directly versus network) and if you use it for proofing or final output, I may have just resolved my key issue. I can always use an old PC to do B/W laser printing to a workhorse HP laser.
sigh...I was soo redundant too, before the big crash. Oh well, at least I am done building my own machines.

Is there a way to convert a Word document with Red and Black into Spot colors in Acrobat X?

Customer sent us PDF files created in MS Word. Of course, Word creates CMYK versions of colors. I need the red text and black text converted into spot colors for 2 color output on press. Is there a way to do this? I saw another thread that said there is a Fixup in the Print Production/Preflight section of Acrobat X that has a convert to Spot, but I'm not seeing that. All I see is Convert to CMYK. I'm using Acrobat X 10.1.13 on OS X. Any help would be appreciated. He also sent the Word docs so I can drop that into InDesign and reformat the whole thing and fix the colors myself but if I can do it in Acrobat, that would be a lot quicker. Thanks!

Frequently in this scenario the red will be 100% of either magenta or yellow with 0% black. In these cases you can merely plate the Black & Magenta (or yellow) for press.
I've created a Preflight Fixup on occasion for these also.
An example shown - Note it requires the document is cmyk. MS Files will be rgb. You could create a Preflight looking for rgb colors.
With Fixup tab selected - Options > Create New Fixup > Type of Fixup - search for Spot in the field

Need help Designing a Query -with RKFs and CKF or alternate

Trying to create a query off a HR Headcount IC - to display number of top performing employees (based on appraisal attribute) by region and by function. The format is as follows:
Created 3 RKF's in column structure where
1RKF is KF "Employee Numbers" for characteristics restrictions of date range1, appraisal rating=1,2, employee status =active etc.
2RKF is KF "Employee Numbers" for characteristics restrictions of date range1, appraisal rating=#, employee status =active etc.
3RKF is KF "Employee Numbers" for characteristics restrictions of date range2, appraisal rating=1,2, employee status =active etc.
1CKF is Boolean result of (1RKF OR (2RKF AND 3RKF)
Was able to display correctly all top performing employees in the following format. When "Employee" was selected to row.

Is there an easy way to transpose 2 colors in Illustrator CS6?

I have a black and gold logo in Illustrator, and I want to change it so that everything that is now black will be gold and everything that is now gold will be black.
I tried select same fill, then used the eyedropper to change the gold to black, but then I realized if I do the same with the black, I will end up also selecting everything that I just changed.
I'm hoping there is some easy way around this I am not seeing. The only thing I can think of is maybe pasting the elements I've changed into a different layer and locking it.
But is there an easier way without having to move to a different layer?

Here is an edited reply since it has proved impossible to edit the first post:
You may, for multiple objects of the same colour (presuming fills only, it may be done similarly with strokes and with combinations of fills and strokes):
1) Select one gold object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to white (or whatever) in the Color palette;
2) Select one black object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to gold;
3) Select one white (formerly gold) object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to black.
The Select Same part is unnecessary for a single object of a colur, of course.

Another member of this forum pointed me to a cool little CMS
called WebYep. Never heard of it before, but I found it, and its
actually very easy to use, and very simple (maybe a little TOO
simple, meaning there not alot of options for text editing on the
web page).
However, it does have its limitations, such as at the Admin
CMS login, its got WebYep logos all over, and you can tell that the
webmaster has used a third party program.
First off, is there a simple CMS like WebYep that allows you
to edit the logos, so I could use my own logos?
What I would REALLY like to know is how to build my own CMS
that I can code myself and I would like to build it similar to
WebYep with it ease of use.

Is there a guide for iCloud?

iCloud is very confusing on how it has been implemented. We have 4 devices in our household. My wife has an ipad and an iphone and I have teh same.
Up to this point, we have always used my apple ID to buy music, apps, music, etc. I upgraded everything to new IOS and on 3 of the 4 we used my apple ID. On the 4th my wife put in her gamecenter id.
So, my question is, should she be using her own apple id for icloud? If we do that, the find my iphone feature in icloud is worthless because then I cannot use it to see her devices (I know where mine are). Also, how can we then share calendars (that was one of the features touted in the keynote). How do we then share the music, apps and movies?
I also have a @me email address and cannto figure out how to port that over to iCloud. I was forced to create a new ID.

iCloud Help is the best place to learn about how to use all the features of iCloud.
It is available by going to http://www.icloud.com/ and clicking Help.
But, iCloud isn't really designed as a business-level service. It's more for keeping personal data in sync between personal computers and iOS-based mobile devices.
Have a read through the Help, and also the iCloud web-pages below and see if you think it will do what you're hoping it will.

ACR 8.6 RC and the D810 - have the controls changed? And is there a guide to using those new controls?

I just changed from CS5 to CC to support the Nikon D810.
When I open a RAW file from the D810, I am confronted by different sliders - things like Highlights and Shadows. White Balance and Exposure haven't changed, but the ones under that are different, or in different places.
I opened a D800e file in ACR 8.6RC, and the controls look the same as they did in CS5; it's only on D810 files I see the new controls.
I know how to drive the controls for the old ACR. This new set of controls, not so much
Is there a guide somewhere explaining the impact of the changed controls? I remember a really useful guide when "Clarity" was introduced, which explained (amongst other things) why I should be using Clarity instead of Contrast, and where to set a level of sharpening - that sort of stuff. I'm kinda hoping to find a similar guide for this.

Can you clarify that both devices could sync with the Vista machine, or did they both fail? Was it 64bit Vista?
Did you try the Aceeca drivers as mentioned in the sticky post at the top of this section? (64bit Windows USB drivers).
I'm going to assume the same drivers might work with Win8. If you find this to be true, please let us know!
