Is there a human being I can talk to at Adobe? I bought a Nikon D800. My Photoshop Elements 8 does not work. I like it. Will Photoshop Elements 10 work? Is 10 similar to 8, or will I have to start all over again cataloging my photos? Help!!!

You could convert your NEF’s to Adobe DNG and then continue using PSE8. Otherwise an upgrade to PSE10 will work.

Good luck came my way today in the guise of a problem with texting on my new i4 phone. I kept working on trying to get the problem solved and kept getting handed up to the next IT person to handle it. I finally arrived at someone who really listened to me and during the conversation I mentioned not being able to text properly but the problem only effected one person on my contact list. She was so good and helpful she connected me to a real person at Verizon who found the trouble right away. I never got a chance to call the number you put here but I'll keep it for future use. (Yes, I'm sure I'll want another human at some point.)

Customer service problems. Anyone at HP I can talk to?

I'm having a horrible customer service experience with HP with regards to a repair to my brand-new Pavillion PC. The problem has been ongoing for a month, and I'm never able to get a straight answer our of the customer support reps as to when the unit will be shipped back to me.
Is there anyone at HP I can talk to outside of the front-line customer service center to try and resolve this?

Tech_Rain - thanks for taking the time to reply to my post, I'm sure the hell I've been through with HP is hardly your fault, but frankly, your reply is indicative of the appalling customer service I've encountered with HP. Your post is hardly timely (over a month since I made my post), nor at all helpful.
I ended up calling tech support on a daily basis in order to try and expedite the process, and was given conflicting, incorrect information, and straight out lied to. Nobody seemed to have any clue as to when I could expect my computer to be fixed - a brand new computer which HP had delivered to me in a defective condition. After a comedy of errors involving misplaced warranty statuses, empty boxes being shipped to me, and general incompetence from tech support representatives, my case was transferred to a case manager.
This failed to improve matters. After the new expedited date for my repair came and went without the repair center ever updating my ticket, I was offered a replacement PC. The date when my PC was due to ship then came and went, another call to the case manager (who had again failed to call me with an update by the promised date), and I ask for my money back. Eventually, I receive a check.
Numerous HP representatives promised to call me back with updates on status. Never once did that happen. HP failed to deliver a working PC, failed to log a repair ticket until I called back a second time, failed to deliver a return box until I called back, failed to provide me with promised status updates, failed to expedite the repair as promised, failed to deliver on promised repair dates, and failed to ship a replacement computer by the promised date.
I took my check, spent it on components at newegg.com, and built my new computer myself - a process that took less time than it took HP to ship me my original defective computer.
All in all, a total failure on the part of HP to serve their customer. I will never buy another product from HP again.

Firefox is extremely slow. Why can't you get a human being???

Firefox is extremely sluggish and won't even open pages like Facebook and if it does the wheel will spin and spin and nothing loads.
The problem is definitely Firefox because the problem does not exist in Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.
I also would like to know why you cannot get technical support from a human being anymore??

If there are issues with certain sites,it may be due to issues with the cache and clearing it may help.
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 Do as Mylenium told you. If you don't know where it is. Go to www.adobe.com, sign in, search for the cc cleaner tool downloader and it should fix the issues. Have you went into your control panel, under programs and features and removed it from there?

I have updated to the new version 27 and do not like it. How can i change it. I don't get along with computer help program as the are no help to my limited computer skill. well the reason I wanted to talk to someone live because it would take forever to explain everything on here But anyway, here goes. I have an HP Pavilion Notebook with Intel Core i5-323om CPU @2.60 GHz and 8 gb ram 64bit. I am trying to run Lightroom 5.7 on my laptop and having major issues. I use an external hard drive for the storage of my photos. When I try to use Lightroom I run into many issues: Flickering of the screen, freezing up, slow, the loading circle just goes round and round lol. If I go to the washroom or leave the computer for even a minute it freezes up. I have to keep pressing Ctr/alt/delete to bring it back when it flickers. I have to constantly exit out of the program and restart it to be able to edit even just a couple of photos and then it starts acting up again.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing, updating everything on my pc, changing compatibility settings, updating development settings, I even took the laptop into have it looked at and they did all kinds of updates etc...and still couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for me. I have gone through the lists of troubleshooting for LR problems and there just seem to be nothing that works.....I have made new catalogues, moved them, tried using the software on my pc without the EHD, etc etc.......I have tried EVERYTHING...I think.....so I was looking for some answers as to why this is happening....

I can't see that link you posted - as it appears to be a direct message. Try posting a screenshot.
If you want help on these forums from people, sharing more information might also help. When you say that you can't get it to activate, what do you mean? What steps are you taking? What is happening in response to those steps? Are you getting error messages? If so, what is the text of those messages?
I mean, I don't have a copy of CS3 laying around the office to follow along (I mean, that's five versions ago!), but it's possible that some others here might. (I might actually have it at home though, now that I think about it. When I get home tonight, If I remember, I might give it a go)
I assume you've already gone through these steps from the Activation & Deactivation Help page:
Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
Start the application.
Choose Help > Activate. (If this option is dimmed, you've activated your software)
Log in with your Adobe ID (usually your email address) to activate your software. If you don’t have an Adobe ID, you see an option to create one.
Optional (CS5 & earlier): After you activate, also register your Adobe product for faster and easier access to support and upgrades.
