Is there a limit date of support or upgrade for ipad 2 ?

I'm about to buy a ipad2 for christmas (for someone else, i already have one) and a vendor say to me that it will be supported only for 1 year so next generation is a better choice ? Is it true ? Never heard anything about that...

If you're buying a brand new, out of the box iPad, it should come with a one year warranty. There is no way to predict how for how long Apple will continue to release iOS updates that will work on the iPad 2. Personally, I would at least buy an iPad 3.

I am trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro 13", when i run bootcamp it tells me that there is not a windows support software available for my computer. Where can i get the windows support software for my macbook?

Apple only supports Windows on certain hardware.
    http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
Apple provides their framework for Windows to run on a Mac, a piece of software called a Hybrid MBR that bridges the gap between how Windows reads the drive partition table (MBR) and EFI/GUID partition table that Mac's use.
It doesn't mean Windows can't run on your Mac, a third party solution called rEFIt will also bridge the gap and allow booting of more that just Windows, Linux as well for a triple booting computer.
Your hardware has to meet the other requirements the second and third operating system needs as as being able to install drivers that will work for your hardware, especially the fans or they will run loud and fast by default.
    http://refit.sourceforge.net/
This above is a advanced procedure which requires knowledge how computers and various operating systems, drive formats and so forth work.
I even admit I don't know everything myself, but I experiment on a separate piece of Mac hardware (out of warranty/AppleCare) designed for this purpose so in case something screws up I'm not taking down my only machine and can use the other to get online and find solutions.
There is a very high potential for losing your data if your using advanced/non-Apple methods to install Windows on your only Mac where Apple doesn't support it. Also one shouldn't be doing this on Mac hardware that is under AppleCare or warranty as it might be voided. Proceed at your own risk and education.

  • Will there be any data deleted if i upgrade my software version?

will there be any data deleted if i upgrade my software version?

what are you updating?  But the short answer is no.  whether an iOS device or a Mac you should't "lose" anything.  the only problems you might run into are compatibility issues with software not being able to run on newer system software....ie.  upgrading to OSX LION means no more PPC apps anymore.

If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

  • How do u limit how many emails u get for ipad 2?

how do u limit how many emails u get for ipad 2?
I don't want ALL my emails at once. you used to be able to set a limit (50,100,200) emails.
now there is no setting and its eating up my battery on my ipad 2

Unfortunately, you cannot. You can change the setting from 'push' to 'fetch' which means it'll only reach out and download mail when you tell it to, which should help your battery. You do that in the settings panel.

  • Which browsers support flash player for ipad?

Which browsers support Flash for Ipad.

The iPad does not support Flash.
    Here's why:
No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash. Adobe is not providing Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they no longer provide Flash for any other cellular phones. Flash is officially gone.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
A sample of Apps that can display some Flash content:
      1. Puffin
      2. SkyFire
      3. Photon Flash
      4. Browse2Go
      5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

  • Is there a limit of the number of pages for an org chart in Visio 2013?

I created an org chart in Visio 2013 by importing data from an Excel file.  It created 300 pages.  Besides opening & saving the file very slowly, it functioned as I expected (i.e. layed out the chart properly & links worked to drill
between pages).  I needed to visit each page to clean up the layout (i.e. add spacing, change layout, etc).  After fixing approx 130 pages, Visio shut down unexpectedly.  Fortunately I had been saving regulary.  I reopened the file
and continued working.  It then would shut down after updating every 25 pages or so.  The file size is 5.3 MB.  I'm running Windows 7 with 4 GB RAM.  Is there a limitation to the number of pages before Visio becomes unstable?

based on my test, there is no limit

  • Is there an English speaking Apple support phone number for Belgium ?

I am regretting having updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.
Apart from the debacle of Maps , I have another even bigger problem.
I have been using the IPhone 4s in Belgium with a Proximus data card.
This no longer works with iOS 6 ! I get an error message stating that a data subscription is needed !
The card continues to work fine with other iOS 5 devices.
Is there a phone number for Apple in Belgium where I can get help in English ?

Just ring the number and ask if anyone who speaks English can help you.

  • Is there a way to change the default colors for iPad apps?

I noticed one of my friends iPad 2 had a different color scheme for apps and I would like to change my iPad 2's default ( which is currently grey). To elaborate, the default color for the borders and tabs in Safari are grey on my iPad, my friends are blue. Would like to change from the drab grey color to blue also but I cannot find a setting for this. All applications and Setup apps have this default color scheme on my ipad. Do I have to reset the iPad and start over with setup to achieve this? Hope not, perhaps someone can shed some light on an easy way to do this. Thank You!

You can apply  system-wise "negative" color effect under Settings > General > Accessibility, by toggling the White and Black switch - and, in iCab Mobile (and some other, better browsers / PDF readers), its own "night mode" negative color scheme.
Otherwise, no, you can't do anything else except for asking third party app authors to add selectable back/froeground (=text) colors to their apps.

  • Is there such a thing as Apple Certified Technicians for iPads?

I recently made the mistake of taking my mini in for repair of a cracked digitizer to a local shop.  A month, several arguments, and 5 visits later, the screen is finally staying on, but the front camera is now very hazy.  They say they took it apart again and cleaned the screen and that since it's no better, it was probably that way before.  The owner insists that his techs are all Apple Certified Technicians, and that they are doing the repairs the same was Apple does them.
I can't find any proof of that type of certification even existing.  And they are not a certified repair center.
Anyone know any other reason the for the camera to all of the sudden be so bad?  All I can think is there has to be a fingerprint on a lens or something, but they swear they have fixed that.

This registry is a voluntary public listing of Apple certificants. Since not all certificants are listed, you can click hereto obtain an individual's official credential status. If you hold an Apple certification and would like to send an official verification to another party, log into the Apple Certification Records System and select Publish Credential.

Which app replaces adobe flash player?

There isn't one. There are some browsers in the app store that will play Flash, with varying levels of success depending on what site you're trying to use.
