Is there a limitation for Send Up file size.

Tried three times load little over 100 Mb pdf file, but always an error occur.
Is there a file size limitation in this new version of Adobe send now?

Hi Jukka_fi,
There have been issues reported with uploading large files to Adobe Send, and Adobe Engineering is working hard to resolve them. If you are running into problems, we suggest you use Adobe SendNow for the time-being.
I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Best,
Sara

  • Alert Rules vs Alert Category - Is there any limitations for multiple rules

I have an alert configuration implemented already and i want to add few more rules for the same alert category.  While creating the rules for new set of scenarios, I am able to create only one rule . Is there any limitations for having the rules per category ?

    Hi,
If the Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule checkbox is selected (default setting), then no further alerts are generated once the rule has been met until the first alert has been confirmed.
There is no limitation of creating alert rule for a particular alert category.
Check out the steps of Alert rule configuration.
    Creating Alert Rules
To create an alert rule in which you use a defined alert category, proceed as follows:
           1.      Give the rule a name (Description).
           2.      Select the alert category that you want to use by clicking the corresponding category in the alert category table.
           3.      If necessary, specify conditions for the sender or receiver, or both.
    ○       If your rule results in alerts that must be assigned to a specific message, select the option Yes for the Bound to Message condition.
    ○       If your rule results in alerts that are not assigned to a message, that is, they are caused by errors that occurred before the message was sent, select the option No for the Bound to Message condition.
In this case you cannot enter any further details about the sender or receiver.
    ○       If the rule is to cover both cases, select the Not Relevant option.
           4.      If required, restrict the errors further to:
    ○       Errors reported from the Integration Engine (with or without error category or error code)
    ○       Errors reported from the Adapter Engine (with or without adapter type)
You can enter an asterisk (*) in steps 3 and 4. You can enter just the asterisk, or enter it at the start, end, or start and end of a string.
           5.      To add the new rule to the list of alert rules, choose Add Rule.
If the Rule Activated check box is selected (default setting), the rule is automatically activated when you add it and is displayed as active.
If the Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule checkbox is selected (default setting), then no further alerts are generated once the rule has been met until the first alert has been confirmed.
Once you have created a rule, it is automatically displayed in the list of alert rules. If you want to display the conditions of a rule, select a rule in the list and choose Show Conditions.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Hi All, Can I access Adobe reader internal variables in my pdf? for example location, file size, creator etc.

Hi All, Can I access Adobe reader internal variables in my pdf? for example location, file size, creator etc. I want to create a hyperlink in my pdf $Location/another.pdf?

    Thanks Gilad.
let me rephrase my requirement. I have a group of pdf files where one pdf has hyperlinks to the other pdfs
    parent.pdf
    -- child1.pdf
    -- child2.pdf
when I click on the child hyperlink I want the child.pdf to be displayed in another window/reader
If I have the hyperlink as file:./child1.pdf it does not work. It needs a complete path.
So when I create this file in MSWord first, Can I artificially create a placeholder for the directory and append the child.pdf?
suppose the properties say Location = /tmp/pdfs/
can I have in the hyperlink something like file:/$Location/child.pdf and when reader is used it substitutes the url
    so I get file:/tmp/pdfs/child.pdf
    Hope I explained this.
    thanks

OK, let me have a very simple requirement. Can I create a pdf and when I open it
there is one line that says - This File is in xxx directory.
where xxx is the directory name where the file is. If I have the file in /tmp then it should say This file is in /tmp directory
and if I copy it to /other then open it, it should say This file is in /other directory.

  • Logic for sending data files to multiple instances of Central

We are using Central Pro Output Server 5.6 with a single Central instance as of default installation on a Windows Server 2003. Data for the transaction files coming from our iSeries system via a printer queue (\\.\pipe\jetform\queuename)
Now we want to be able to produce more documents from Central much faster and therefore setting up multiple instances of Central. The problem is then where to put the logic for choosing instances.
The simplest way to do this would be to have iSeries to alternate the data files to different pipes (printer queues) for Central. But as we dont want to change our iSeries configuration for this, is there a way to solve this problem in Central?
Any help with this is much appreciated

Central provides no mechanism that I'm aware of that would do anything resembling the job distribution that you are wanting. Central is written to monitor it's input folders and process the files it finds there. Each instance is essentially separate from each other.
Your source system will need to select the appropriate instance to be used. Either that or you will need to have something between the source system and Central that is doing the distribution. For example, you could have the source system write to a folder that is not being monitored by Central and write a program that runs as a service that does monitor that folder. This program would then distribute the files. The likely drawback of having an intermediary program is that you are likely to not end up getting the documents printed any faster than with a single instance.
Another possible way, if the source system can create files with different file name extensions, would be to have them all written to the same folder and have each instance checking that particular folder but looking for files with different extensions. This might be problematic, though, because it might also end up with each instance watching the same "control" folder so that doing things like pausing Central would end up with no control of which instance was going to be paused.
The default setting for Central has it pausing for 5 seconds if it completes a job and there are no more files waiting for it. If your jobs are not coming in faster than Central is processing them then you would be getting some of this delay for your jobs. You could reduce this time or even set Central to process a job as soon as it shows up. I don't know if version 5.6 still has the problem but an earlier version would not "see" a file if it happened to show up exactly when it was looking for more (it was probably showing up milli-seconds after Central looked). This caused that job to just sit there until the next job showed up.
A major factor in getting the documents produced faster is going to be the speed and number of printers that they are going to - plus the number of pages in each document. For us, the single instance of Central that we are currently using can produce print much faster than our HP9050 printers (50 ppm) can actually print it.
You must be doing a lot of forms or each job is doing a lot of processing. Our typical print job does 4 tasks (depending on the job this can include things like: passing the file through the transformation agent, updating a mainframe database, FTPing the file to another server for archiving, and producing the print). A typical job with 11 output pages takes only 2-3 seconds. We have a task that runs every morning that retrieves mainframe generated jobs. I just checked one of our servers and it processed 208 jobs in exactly 8 minutes (26 jobs per minute at an average of 2.3 seconds per job). We also thought we'd need multiple instances due to speed but that just isn't the case for us. We have other reasons to move to multiple instances but speed in not a major factor any more.

  • Is there any limitation for PXI 5670 to generate QPSK signal?

    Hi,
I would like to select PXI 5670 to generate the QPSK signal in my system. How does is it make the QPSK modulation? As I understand, QPSK modulation would need to have two AWG to generate the I and Q signal. See below:
But PXI 5670 only integrated one AWG (PXI 5421). So how does it make the QPSK modulation?
Do I need to download the user−specified baseband IQ waveform into the memory first, then playback it to generate the IQ signal and then upconvert it to the desired QPSK signal? if yes, the playback time will be limited by the onboard memory size. Even if I select the one of 256 MB of onboard memory , it can only 1.28 seconds of waveform data at the default sample clock rate of 100 MS/s.  Does it means the QPSK signal can only apear within 1.28 seconds? That's definitely not enough for me.
I am not sure if my understanding is correct or not. Any reply is appreciated.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello Ivan.Chen,
This is correct given the PXIe-5611 performs the complex modulation and direct upconversion in the physical analog domain. Typically, you will still be generating your waveform in software based upon I and Q however. The real I waveform will be generated on channel 0, and the real Q waveform will be generated on channel 1. The I and Q analog waveforms will then be modulated in a quadrature fashion and generated at the appropriate RF frequency.
The fundamental difference between the PXI-5670 and PXIe-5673 is that your the PXI-5670 eventually needs to received a waveform at full rate (100 MS/s) which has already been complex modulated while the PXIe-5673 only requires two real waveforms, I & Q, which can be at streamed to the device at a decimated rate since the onboard signal processing supports interpolation. This allows the PXIe-5673 to be an ideal streaming platform. It is also much faster in regards to tuning, and is capable of a 4x instantaneous bandwidth improvement - the PXI-5670 is 20 MHz, while the PXIe-5673 is > 100 MHz in bandwidth.
Check out the specifications for the PXIe-5673 for more detail on the overall device, as well as the PXIe-5450 specifications for more detail on the onboard signal processing capabilities.

  • Is there a way around the Maximum File size of 2.0 GB Exceeded message???

I tried to bounce a two hour mix set for the first time today, and I received this message

Yes. Use the .caf file format. No file size restrictions.

  • Exporting format for best quality/file size

    Hi,
    Help!!
Nubie to after effects, pretty much got my head round most of the basics except exporting/rendering my projects.
I can export to Encore and get great results as a dvd...problems i have are as follows.
If I wish to create a presentation for a plama screen running on a laptop what might be the best format to render. For example I have tried .AVI but the file sizes are huge..gigs n gigs worth!!
I have a 720 x 576 project I would currently like to export but do not know how to get the right balance of quality and file size.
Are there any presets anyone knows of?
    Thanks!
    Regards
    Ian

Well, if you are referring to plain desktop playback from a Windows-based laptop, nothing beats WMV. It will play smoothly and if you ramp up the data rates to somewhere between 2 and 3 Mbit/sec, you see almost no adisturbances at this resolution. You will need to work in square pixels, though, or it may look crooked, so nest all your work in a respective comp for final render.

  • Is it best to upload HD movies from a camcorder to iMovie or iPhoto.  iMovie gives the option for very large file sizes - presumably it is best to use this file size because the HD movie is then at its best quality?

Is it best to upload hd movie to iPhoto or iMovie?  iMovie seems to store the movie in much larger files - presumably this is preferable as a larger file is better quality?

Generally it is if you're comparing identical compressors & resolutions but there's something else happening here.  If you're worried about quality degrading; check the original file details on the camera (or card) either with Get Info or by opening in QuickTime and showing info. You should find the iPhoto version (reveal in a Finder) is a straight copy.  You can't really increase image quality of a movie (barring a few tricks) by increasing file size but Apple editing products create a more "scrub-able" intermediate file which is quite large.
    Good luck and happy editing.

  • Searching for a specific file size

    Hello,
It's been a while but it seems like XP let me search for specific file sizes - e.g. if I wanted to search for files that were greater than 10GB or if I wanted to search for files less than 20GB.
I can't figure it out in Windows 8.1.
If the answer is possible through standard search and not powershell, I'd prefer the GUI way.
    Thanks

In File Explorer (was Windows Explorer), type the search criteria into the box in the top right of the screen and press Enter.
    Example searches are:
A minimum file size, simply type size:>30,000KB into the Search box and press Enter.
type:=.pdf or type:=.doc will display specific file types.
filename:x will display files using a partial filename. x represents the partial filename you want to search for.
kind:video, kind:music or kind:pictures will find all the videos, music or pictures.
If you just click or tap in the Search box, Search Tools will appear which allows the choosing of a Kind, a Size, Date Modified, Other Properties and Advanced search. In Folder Options > Search Tab, the search options can be changed, e.g. Find partial
    matches.
Providing the location is indexed, you can search in File Explorer for a specific word or phrase by typing content:
followed by your phrase enclosed in double quotes. This will produce a list of files matching the criterion.
Speed up the search by opening File Explorer (was Windows Explorer) at the folder you want to search, rather than at the root folder. Also, pressing F3 will show Search options like Date Modified and Size.
Ninety-nine per cent of politicians give the rest a bad name.

  • What should I work with for an initial file size for final print pieces that range from 18"x12" to 40' x 20'.

I am shooting in Canon RAW and using background plates with green screen images. I am not certain whether I need to create the initial file in multiple sizes for the various final print pieces, or if a single file size should be used and then down-rezzed or uprezzed based on what needs to be printed.
    File sizes are:
    18" x 12" (inches)
    40" x 27" (inches)
    30" x 60" (inches)
    60" x 120" (inches)/5' x 10' (feet)
    20' x 40' (feet)
The largest size format we are doing as 1/10 scale at 720 dpi to go down to 72 dpi for print.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Much thanks.

  • A great tip for reducing PDF file sizes (e.g. from scanned images)

I just found, and used this tip and was so impressed I had to share it!
    http://www.hoboes.com/Mimsy/hacks/quality-reduced-file-size/
By the way, you can also easily combine pdfs using preview. Open the 'main' one that will be your final file. Go to View -> Sidebar. Drag the other pdfs that you want to join right into the side bar. It will just stack them on. Then save.

Since a while DIAdem optimizes the size of exported PDF-files in a related way as it is suggested here. In principle the PDF-file is exported in a very high resolution, so you can display it in a reader with a very high zoom value (e. g. 6000 %) to look into details of your data. If you have a huge dataset, this could lead in fact to a bigger file size, if data points could be displayed because the high PDF-resolution. But in general, DIAdem only saves information in a PDF-file which is really necessary - but with a high resolution.
