IS There A Link To Download An Earlier Version of Reader Cannot Get Version X To Install

I am running a computer with XP Pro SP3 and cannot get version X to install, I keep getting an error code. I used to have Version 5, I think it was on the computer and wanted to upgrade it. I deleated that version and cannot get version 10 to install. I posted a question about the error codes that I am getting but after reading all of the messages on the board it seems that version 10 has a few problems. I was wondering if there was still a link somewhere to download one of the earlier versions like version 8 or 9. All I can find are links that take me to the version 10 download page at Adobe. Does anyone know of a link to one of the earlier versions? Thanks for any help.

I have the exact same question as heathy32 (I just want to get a photobook ordered, but I'm currently running iPhoto 7.1.5 with OS X 10.6.8 and discovered right at the end of the process of making this photobook that it's no longer supported with the versions I have) but I just wanted to check something with you before I proceed with the iLife 11 disk...
Namely: do I need download the iPhoto Library Upgrader first?
There seem to be issues discussed in other forums about the Upgrader, I want to make sure I don't do something like downloading it if that isn't strictly necessary.
I am perfectly happy just to install iPhoto 9 and upgrade to 9.2.3 using the updater you link to, just so long as I can get a photo book printed!
Once that is safely out of the way, I intend to upgrade to Maverick etc.

Reminders is automatically installed with 10.8 or above. A new Mac should have 10.9; it's possible that, with a third-party vendor, you have an earlier OS. Check under the Apple menu in the top left and click About This Mac. That will tell you what version of OS X you have.

Like most online purchases you would normally receive the order number before the order is processed so you should be patient and allow some time for the processing to happen. If you feel you have waited long enough then you should contact Adobe Support directly and try to get information on your order since you now have a reference for it that you can share with them.

Thanks for the quick response. No, I did not get any error messages or any terms-of-usage screen. The employee I told my problem to was not computer savvy either. She just suggested I move to different spots w/in the library to see if that would make a difference. It didn't. When I connected to the library WiFi it did change the Verizon 3G that is usually in the upper left corner to iPad with two to three emanating arcs. I may have to go to the library in the next town. I was able to connect to theirs in the past when I had to download something greater than 20 MB. Unless I really want it, I will probably not even try to download something more than 20 MB due to the hassle. Yeah, I may have been better off getting a normal desktop or laptop and getting WiFi at home. To do that now would mean having my iPad 2 and a desktop computer, which I feel is extravagant. (I know there are a lot of big spenders out there who got the iPad as additional gadget for fun. This is a rich country.) It requires you to have Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) installed, which can be obtained from the Apple Store.
You being on Mac OS X 10.4 makes it an old system, 10.6 and 10.7 require an Intel processor at least with Lion demanding an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor.

Cannot get version 11.1 downloaded

Get an error saying
"Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools>Download only and try installing manually."
I chose Tools and Download only. And all it did was open a window with programs. I don't know what to do.
