Is there a manual for Content Browser?

I have NO idea what I'm doing. Been trying to get NEX FS700 video files to my Mac then into Premiere. Can't believe there isn't a STEP by STEP manual.
Solved!
Go to Solution.

Yes, there's a pretty exhaustive HTML manual/compiled help file..
If you want to simply copy the files, right click on the FS700 clips and select Export-->NXCAM to Local Folder.
Note that you don't need Browser for Premiere ingest. Best option for this is Premiere's built-in media browser (bottom left corner of the UI). Also it will not rewrap AVCHD to .mov. This is done as an option within FCP X.
Feel free to ping me if you have other Qs.

  • Is there a manual for iOS7, and how it pertains to th iPhone 4s?

Is ther a manual for the new features in iOS7 and how to use them on an iPhone4s?

Yeah that was as bad as Kappy telling everyone that apple was releasing ios7 in phases across time zones. He said he had a source and I had to remind him that it was rumor yet he kept telling people that and then it turns out he was wrong because it came out the same time for everyone.

  • Is there a manual for the Razr M???

I am new to smart phones. I admit that right away. But I follow instructions really well. The starting instructions for this phone don't help,
as they are incomplete. For example: When I try to do what it tells me, as in getting a couple of widgets off the first screen, it tells me I have to create
a second page first. Why?  Then I try to do what it says with the widget, but it goes nowhere. That sort of thing.  Very little here is "intuitively obvious."
I don't have the time to take a workshop at the Verizon store.
The video workshops are not for this phone, but for an earlier version. They don't help.
Once upon a time, I wrote "end-user" manuals for the big HR and Payroll programs. Those need to be thorough, complete, and clear.
The instructions that I have seen for this phone so far have not had those attributes.
Is there a manual? A pdf? Something? Can I buy one on Amazon?  I couldn't find one there.
    Thanks.

Thank you so very much.  I never thought to look on the Mot site itself.  Well, duh!
    Happy Holidays!

  • Is there a manual for mavericks?

Looking for a PDF manual for mavericks, is there such a thing?

There isn't a PDF manual per se, but open the Finder.
From the Finder menu bar click Help > Help Center or What's new in OS X Mavericks.
And more help here >  Apple - Support - OS X

  • Is there a manual for Lion?

Does anyone know where I can find a manual for OS X 10.7 Lion? Thanks!

There's a link on that page to #31 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions, where some downsides are listed.
And, of course, it's new.  Anything new is more likely to have bugs.  Lion has been in beta since at least February (perhaps earlier for Developers), and that usually catches most of them, but even a few hundred testers won't find everything, especially when threre's a nearly-infinite variety of hardware and software combinations.
I would never have only a single set of backups anyway, but I'd certainly not encrypt all of them.  But then I'm a bit paranoid on the issue of backups.
There are some folks having trouble encrypting very large (3TB) drives; exactly why is still an open question.

    Hi civil
I don't think there is a manual but,
A basic look at Mail can be found here:

A more detailed "manual type" webpage Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger Support is found here:

I can only find manuals for the older version.

The best I can find is at this Apple Support site. On the right hand pane, click on Pages Help.
Same can also be done for iWork 2013 Numbers and Keynote by clicking on the app in the left pane then it's Help in the right pane.

You are very kind and know alot about iMovie.

Thank you in advance for your help or pointing me to a resource where I can get some help.  Thank you. AG

  • Is There a Manual for Illustrator CS5 and Where Do I Find It?

I just got Adobe Illustrator CS5. Aside from downloading the trial and playing around with it, I'm new to the Illustrator CS5 product. Most software tends to come with a manual on the CD-Rom/DVD, but for some reason, all I can find is a short readme file.
Am I missing something? Does this software not come with a manual? If it does, does anyone know where in the CD/DVD directory I can find it?

It does not come with a manual but you can purchase books that will guide you as well as a manual.
Real World Illustrator or the Quick Start Series.
But the help files are good and there are video tutorials available on Adobe TV which are very good.

  • Is there a manual for boris title 3D?

Can't find anything in the index for the fcp manual. Trying to figure out how to use the style palette. However it's supposed to work, it sure isn't intuitive. Unless of course, it's not supposed to work (just implemented in a version you have to pay for).

    thanks David.

  • Is there a manual for PS Touch?

I need to merge images from two photos but even looking at the tutorials I can't understand how to do this.  Any help would be very much appreciated!

    TUTORIAL TIME!
This assumes that you have your two images residing in your device already. Note also my screenshots may differ from yours depending on mobile OS being used (Android 4.1.2 in my case). The manner should be the same, however.
Note this technique works best for images that have a similar or the same background. It's also the fastest.
Tap each image to enlarge if you can't see any details.
I browse to the first photo for the project
I browse to where the images reside.
The first image inserted. I tap the "add image" icon in the upper left, second icon from right.
I browse as I did before for the first image. The second image, inserted, waiting for me to confirm by tapping the checkmark.
Both images now in the project. Now the magic begins.
Next, I tap the ampersand icon in the upper right, second icon from the right, then tap, "Fade," in the pop-up menu that appears.
I'll want to choose a fade depending on the location of the objects in each layer. In this case, I chose a fade that has 100% opacity on the left (indicated by total red) and gradually fades into 100% transparency on the right (indicated by a greyscale checkerboard). Arrow 1 points to the fade chosen. Arrow 2 points to the handle I will tap and drag to the right to adjust the amount of fade between the two layers.
The result. I then tap the checkmark in the lower central right.
The final image. Note how the topmost layer fades into the bottom layer in the layer panel in the lower right.
I can then save this project and export as usual. And that's it. If you have any questions, just ask.

  • Is there a manual for Lion Server?

Where can I find detailed documentation for Lion Server?

Piggy-backing but the lack of official documentation amazes me and can be seen as a sign of immature product roll-out.  My similar question is below, but unless something has changed I will be looking at 3d party books (yes, in paper).
What is the best overall documentation and guide for using OS X Lion Server?  I am using a Mac Mini (2.3/8GB/500GB) and learning the server in preparation for a small office server.  I am just using it at home now but going to try multiple user config for iCal, document sharing, remote access, VPN server, print server, mail server, and back-up.  I am suprised not only by the presence of so much adverse comment but even more by the apparent lack of solid and readily available documentation from apple--maybe it is there and I have just missed it.  I downloaded from apple.com the .pdf
    Lion Server
    Upgrading and
    Migrating
For Mac OS X v10.7 Lion Server.
Not much there for getting started from scratch.  I viewed www.apple.com/macosx/server/  which is more marketing than help.  I also went to https://discussions.apple.com/community/servers_enterprise_software/mac_os_x_lio n_server and ended up back here.  Is there a good old fashioned paper book that I can sit in the sun with a cup of tea and start to both skim and study?
