Is there a maximum number of e-mail addresses in a group?

imac G5 1.8   Mac OS X (10.4.3)
I have a group of 50 addresses in a group but I am having difficulty in sending a message to them. I get an error message that I can't use the current server and need to chose a new server? Does anybody know what this means. I use mail 2.05 and Road runner.
Thanks

Hi Cracklin'
Sorry I didn't respond sooner... I thought I was subscribed to this topic, but I guess not.
I'm not sure I entirely understand your question. You're wondering about how to send a bunch of "drafts" that were generated by Serial Mail... is that right?
It's been a while since I've used it, but I think you use Serial Mail again and just re-generate the emails but this time go ahead and send instead of "saving for review." I remember getting pretty comfortable with "saving for review," checking them out, deleting them, trying again, and just going through this process a few times until I had exactly what I wanted. Then I think I deleted all of them, and then just ran Serial Mail one more time but choosing "send" the final time.
I hope that helps (but I imagine you probably figured all of this out by now).

is there a maximum number of photos that you can upload into an iPhoto book from an album?
trying to make a book and only some of the photos from my album are there

    No
There is a maximum numb of pages in a book (100 pages) and the larges page I am aware of holds 16 photos so the maximun number of photos you could have in a book would be 1600

Is there a maximum number of pictures that can be uploaded to create a photo book?  I can't seem to drag anymore pictures to my current project.

I have over 200 photos in my book and it was accepted. There is a limit on each widget though. The interactive widget seems to have a limit of around 30 or 40.

  • Is there a maximum number of iPod Touch Calendars?

Since the iPod Touch does not (yet) have a search function I created a Medical calendar to which I want to assign all medical appointments. On my desktop (iCal 2.0.5) I went back one year and changed certain data to Medical. When I synched my iPod Touch it took an amazingly long time and when complete the Medical category did not show up on my iPod, and the events I had changed were unchanged in their categorization. I checked back to the desktop iCal and the changes were in effect (the iPod didn't accept the new calendar but it didn't mess with the iCal).
_*Is there a maximum number of calendars the iPod Touch will accept?_*
Not counting "All" as a category I have 14. One reason for this high number is that my work publishes 6 calendars depending on the constituency (parents, upper school faculty, lower school faculty....blah blah). If there is a max I can somehow try to combine some calendars and lower the number but first I need to know.

You may not get the help you require here and would be best posting in the iPod Touch forum. Here's a link.

  • SOST Repeat Send does not ask for new fax number or e-mail address.

SOST Repeat Send does not ask for new fax number or e-mail address.  It does work for one user but not for any others.  It is supposed to ask you if you want to change the fax number or e-mail address if you were the user that sent the document.  Does anyone know if there are settings that control this somewhere?  Using SAP R/3 vers. 4.7

    Dear Friends,
Normally, we can change the receipient address, if we send. We can not change the receipient address of another user.
Check  Note 685164 - Resending with recipient change.
As per this note Go to SM30 and add parameter "SOST_REC_CHANGE" value "X" in view "SXPARAMS".
Now, if you click "repeat send" icon, it will ask below two option in dialog box:
The message is sent again. You can change the recipient before
sending. The sent message then appears as a
as a new send request in the list
    Send to same recipients again
    Change recipients before sending
It is working to me ....

  • Is there a Maximum number of songs you can have in iTunes library?

I have reached what I believe to be the Maximum number of songs that iTunes will allow. That number is 37,562 songs. Since reaching this plateau I have since split my iTunes library into two seperate libraries using the program Libra but am wondering what happened to all the songs I either downloaded off my own CDs or purchased from the iTunes store after I reached that maximum number. It's not a matter of hard drive space as I was originally told by several Apple Employees...I have a Terabyte drive that I have my libraries going to that has over 700GB still free. I'm concerned that songs may have been deleted and wonder how I found out which ones were deleted or what happened to songs as I reached the 37,562 level and continued to add songs until I finally realized that the song count wasn't going any higher. I am on a Mac, using a G4 desktop under MacOSX 10.4.8. Any help would be appreciated...Tks

  • Is there a maximum number of keywords in Lightroom 4 on Windows XP?

A friends finds that near the end of a long list of keywords in the Keyword List pane, the right-pointing arraow to the right of the keyword fails to appear. If she adds three new keywords above that point, the point moves up three, suggesting a maximum number of keywords.

This may be related, but her problem is not that the list is cut off. She can see all her many keywords. It is that, as she gets near the end of the list, she loses the ability to use the right-pointing arrow to the right of the keyword. The arrow doesn't appear. Above a particular keyword, it is always there, but below that keyword it never appears. If she adds new keywords near the top of the list, the point at which the arrow disappears changes, maintaining its position relative to the top of the list, but moving up relative to the bottom. This suggests there is a fixed maximum distance, in numbers of keywords, from the top of the list that the arraow is functional.
Using hierarchichal (where's the spellchecker when you need it!) keywords might change the distance, in number of keywords, though I don'y think it suits her purposes.

  • Is there a maximum number of pics that can be transferred to a 64 gb ipad?

i got a 64 gb ipad and when i tried to transfer a folder contains more than 50000 pictures to it, only about 4000 of them were transferred. i wondered if there is a maximum number of pictures that can be transferred to my ipad? or did i do that wrong? is there a way to do this? thanks in advance.

You need to transfer all folders in one go - selecting one and syncing it, and then de-selecting that one and selecting a different one will just replace the first folder with the second folder on the iPad. To sync multiple folders they all need to be sub-folders off a parent folder, in which case they will appear as separate albums on the iPad (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236).
As to how get around the limit I don't know, or whether its possible. I've also heard about the 256MB limit, but I don't how many photos that equates to - or whether it's at a folder or library level.

  • Is there a maximum number of plugins that LR5 can manage?

Does anyone know if LR5 has a maximum number of plugins it can manage.
I am using Portrait Pro and the Nik suite out of that mix one always gets bumped from the list when used.

Thanks for taking your time with this beyond the esential question.
    I did mean preferences.
The buggy software seems to be Portrait Pro or one of Nik programs.
To use Portrait Pro I select it by:
    LR>Preferences>external editor>choose>”PortraitProfessionalStudio.app"
If I start by using Portrait Pro on a photo I follow:
    Edit in>Portrait Pro
Up until this point everything works fine. No worries.
However, as soon as I use one of the Nik software programs, Portrait Pro is removed from as the external editor and replaced by the which ever Nik program I use.
This phenomena does not happen any other plug in except for the Nik suite.
So, either Nik somehow removes Portrait Pro or Portrait Pro has something within it’s coding that allows it to be removed as the external editor and no longer viable unless I go back to Preferences and repeat the steps:
    LR>Preferences>external editor>choose>”PortraitProfessionalStudio.app”
Of course, Nik says it is a flaw with Portrait Pro and Portrait Pro says it is a flaw with Nik (shocker), but such is life

  • I've a Single Folio app with 1526 articles. Its there a maximum number for articles per Folio?

Helo! I've created a Single Folio app with 1526 articles.
It works in the generic Adobe Content Viewer, but does not work on my custom App.
    It shutdowns after splash window.
    Could someone help me?
    Elismar

Changing settings? What part of setting?
My guess is that if you have so many articles, and each article need some particular files in the .folio file, then the Viewer make a mistake trying load all files in the same moment, causing auto shutdown. And, I'm using the iPad 3 to test it.
So, would be fine if someone could give me numbers about the maximum number of articles suggested to put in a Folio Issue.
And yes, I'm publishing the Bible!

  • Is there a maximum number of index-refs in a single book file?

This is a dual question: first if there is a reference book with many thousand index markers, what problems can arise with updating the index across multiple chapters in a book?
Secondly, are there known maximums that apply for index references or other cross-references/hyperlinks in a book?

I usually send my stuff out to an "Indexor" but I think there is a limit on characters (50 or so) but check out www.theindesigner.com and search for video tut on indexes, he covers it quite comprehensively)

  • Is there a maximum number of Network Filter Drivers in Windows 7?

I recently tried to install Windows XP Mode on my Windows 7 laptop, and experienced a number of failures...
According to a post elsewhere on this forum (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-GB/w7itprovirt/thread/00c74bd9-da7b-4acb-ae5a-7112377bc7e2), one of the possible causes of this is if the maximum number of network filter drivers is installed - from Thayu:
"From your logs, the error is 0x8004a029, which basically indicates that the maximum number of network filter drivers has been reached.
Could you uninstall any other network filter driver that you think is not necessary and try installing VPC again?"
So, I uninstalled Cisco VPN, and retried the XP Mode installation, which now worked... However, I am now unable to re-install Cisco VPN - presumably for the same reason...
The software I have installed that seems relevant is:
    Symantec Endpoint Security
    Checkpoint VPN-1 SecureClient
Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (XP Mode)
So, am I right in thinking the maximum number of network filter drivers in Windows 7 is 3??  Is this configurable??
This is a really worrying limit for me, as I have a number of customers that I have to be able to connect to, requiring both CheckPoint and Cisco VPN software to be installed... I also require XP Mode to connect by VPN to legacy clients that don't support the MS-CHAP2 protocol, and I'd be stupid to run without Anti-virus...
    Any suggestions?
    Nick

    Hi,
Based on my research, I would like to answer you that the maximum number of network filter drivers in Windows 7 is 14. However, it is hard coded to allow 14 filter drivers. By default, the number is 8. To view the number or modify the number, please access the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters
Usually, the network filter drivers are listed in the Network Connection’s Properties. Also, it can be located by some third party programs, such as antivirus program.
    Thanks,
    Novak
