Hi michelle gonzles,
Was it working fine in Mozilla Firefox?
Were you able to checked with a different browser as suggested above?
Would you send your PDF document to [email protected] as an email attachment?
I will check it from my end. Please add the link to this forum post for reference.

  • How do I maintain column formatting when converting from PDF to Excel?

How do I maintain column formatting when converting from PDF to Excel? All info is no longer on the lines or in the columns they started out being in? Any help would be appreciated.

    Sara,
Perhaps I am expecting too much from Adobe ExportPDF. The reason I subscribed to this service, for which I pay a yearly fee, was that I need a way to  convert scanned and digital documents to Word &/or Excel. I read the link you included but to be candid the more I tried to understand what was written the more confused I got. The process should not be this difficult. Currently I am using a NEAT scanner to create PDF documents of whatever I scan. After I changed the OCR setting on Adobe ExportPDF the output was much better but not to the point it was usable as it was. Information that appears to be lines and columns are sometimes not recognizing two columns and just putting them together in one. Obviously not usable. The other thing it does is bunch numbers that appear in a column that are just a bunch of numbers that I have no way of fixing.
Please let me speak to someone who can help me. Right now I not getting anything of value in my paid subscription.

  • Is There A Maximum Size Limit for The MicroSD Card?

    Hey all,
I'm a BB newbie.  I installed an 8GB MicroSD card.  Finally figured out that you must format the card from the device in order to get it to work.
However, in doing so, my 8GB card is only recognized as 4GB.  Is there a maximum size card that the 8300 series(I have an 8320 through T-Mobile)  will recognize or is there something strange going on with my MicroSD card???
The manual isn't clear on that.
    Thank you

Supported SD card size is OS dependant as follows:
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 - Up to 2 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 - Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 - Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 - Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 - Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 - Up to 16 GB

  • Is there a maximum size limit for a single file?

I haven't been able to find a statement of the maximum size of a file. We're looking at storing several 5-10gb files in one file library.
    Is it possible?
How badly would that impact performance?

maximum size of a file. All files are stored as Binary Large Objects (BLOBs), A BLOB max size is (4 gigabytes -1) * (the value of the CHUNK parameter of LOB storage). Oracle Content Services configures its LOBs to have a 32K chunk size
Note that there is a overhead by storing large files, you should compress your files if possible before storing them.

How badly would that impact performance?Compared to what? Oracle ASM gives you the ability to stripe your content over hundreds of physcal disks to improve the performence. http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/asm/index.html

  • How long does it normally take to convert from PDF to Excel files?

How long does it normally take to convert from a PDF to Excel files?

    Sara-
I did see your response.  Thanks.  The other thing that happened was after I enabled Adobe on my Dell it apparently knocked out my Mozilla.  Now I can't get internet connection unless I use Internet Explorer which I would prefer not to.  I'm going to visit our IT folks tomorrow and see if I can get some of this resolved.
The PDF files I obtained that I am trying to transfer to Excel may be too complex because there is a great deal of extraneous text information in the basic document that lies outside of the tables I want to transfer.  I'm going to try and highlight the tables only and see if this works.
Thanks for taking the time answering.
    Best,
    Henry

  • Converting from PDF to excel

I have just been upgraded to Windows 7 and I am now unable to convert a PDF document to excel or word.  When I press convert it comes up with an error message.
"An Error occurred while signing in"
Also when I log into Adobe Export PDF it comes up with a blank page.

    Hi Wendy,
Have you rebooted your computer and cashed your cookies, etc?
    Let me know!

  • Is there a page size limit when exporting a pdf from InDesign?

My indd file is 201x40 inches with a 1.5 inch slug. When I export to pdf I get this message, "The document page size exceeds the page size range supported in PDF files. Exported pages will be resized to fit within PDF limits."

Although the PDF spec mentions that it's feasible to create a PDF as large as 15,000,000 inches in either direction, 200 x 200 inches is Distiller’s limit for PostScript. It’s based on the Windows printer driver limitation.
If I read the quote below correctly, the maximum page size is 15 million inches (381 km).
"This is from the PDF Reference 1.6:
    177. In PDF versions earlier than PDF 1.6, the size of the default user space unit is fixed at 172 inch. In Acrobat viewers earlier than version 4.0, the minimum allowed page size is 72 by 72 units in default user space (1 by 1 inch); the maximum is 3240 by 3240 units (45 by 45 inches). In Acrobat versions 5.0 and later, the minimum allowed page size is 3 by 3 units (approximately 0.04 by 0.04 inch); the maximum is 14,400 by 14,400 units (200 by 200 inches).
Beginning with PDF 1.6, the size of the default user space unit may be set with the UserUnit entry of the page dictionary. Acrobat 7.0 supports a maximum UserUnit value of 75,000, which gives a maximum page dimension of 15,000,000 inches (14,400 * 75,000 * 172). The minimum UserUnit value is 1.0 (the default)."

  • What is the size limit for converting a pdf to a word document?

My file won't convert. It gives me an error.

What is the error message? What OS? What version of Word? What version of Acrobat? Which method do you use to try to create the pdf from the Word file.

  • Is There a File Size Limit for Videos from DVDs?

I copied King Arthur using HandBrake Lite so I could put it on my iPod, but HandBrake Lite, no matter what I try, refuses to copy past 1:20:59 (or 1 hour, 20 minutes and 59 seconds). The version of King Arthur that I'm trying to copy is, however (according to IMDb), 2:01 (2 hours and 1 minute), or as HandBrake Lite contends is 2:05 (2 hours and 5 minutes). These runtimes make a difference, but I'm going to go with what HandBrake Lite says the runtime is.
As a comparison, I'm also running the copy through HandBrake (which, incidentally, is at least consistent with HandBrake Lite's runtime, which makes my comparison easier). My main reason for running the copy through HandBrake and HandBrake Lite was to see whether the copy would copy past what HandBrake Lite obviously doesn't want to do.
Before I receive the data from HandBrake, answer me the question that is in the subject. If the answer is no, then why does HandBrake stubbornly refuse to copy past 1:20:59?

try a differant converter, search iPod converters on download.com
    hope this helps

Is there a maximum size limit to Oracle database?
What is the maximum columns and rows the database can grow to?
Is there any documentation stating the max size for the Oracle database?

The maximum size supported by Oracle in respect of the Oracle RDBMS is 512 Petabytes or
536,870,912 GigaBytes. This was introduced w/ Oracle Release 8.0.3 and higher. The Oracle Release 7 limit was 4 Terabytes.

  • Is there a maximum size for Keynote files

I want to make sure my Keynote files are functioning well.  Is there a maximum size, under which they function best?  (either a number of slides, or MB/memory).
I've created the Keynote files on my iPad2, then uploaded them to my iMac desktop, used the "Reduce File Size" option on desktop Keynote, saved, then downloaded onto my iPhone4, and I'm "projecting" the files onto an Apple TV 2.
    Thanks!

There's a mathematical limit due to the architecture of PDF object references but it's way beyond anything you could create in practice. Because the Acrobat Family are 32-bit applications you'll find there are performance issues if the file count gets too high - exactly when that becomes a problem depends on both the files and the hardware opening them, but given an XLSX file isn't displayed within the Portfolio (other than as an icon) it'll be less of an issue then if the files were PDFs, videos, etc.

  • Is there a practical size limit on JPEG format image files?

I have noticed when working with Photoshop v7.0 on Windows XP that, when creating a JPEG format image file from a very large scanned image (more than 800 Mb, maybe), the .jpg file will usually be saved on disk at any of the possible compression ratios available, without any reported error, yet when the saved file is re-opened, an error is reported - something along the lines of "missing or corrupted end of file marker" - and the image cannot be loaded.
If before saving the original image is substantially reduced in size, e.g. by reducing the resolution of the image, a viable JPEG format file can be created, which will subsequently load successfully, though technically with data loss.
This appears to happen only with JPEG format files - PDF format files can be saved from the original image at similar JPEG compression ratios, without error on reloading.
I do not know if this also occurs with any other Photoshop versions.  I am working with Adobe Photoshop v7.0 on Windows XP, although we are preparing to upgrade to CS (which version I don't know) in the near future, for different reasons to those which are detailed above.
Does anyone know if there is a technical explanation for this behaviour?  Is there a file size limit for writing viable JPEG files (which Photoshop does not report as an error when exceeded)?
    Thanks

that's what I gathered from "JPEG cannot [...] in Photoshop (code difficult to replace)".
But if you say this is in the works right now, that's good news indeed.

About CLOB size, it's 4Go not 4000 characters - VARCHAR2 supports up to 4000 bytes. Pay attention also to unicode encoding!
Are you using CFQUERYPARAM to insert into the CLOB fields ?
         <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_CLOB" VALUE="    ">
use the Firebug extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843) in Firefox3 and do some network monitoring: let me know what you're seeing there.

Is there a maximum size for the iTunes libary for windows 7?

Not as far as I know.
My Music Library has 17080 songs (108.38 GB) in it, plus films, Podcasts and a few iTunes U programmes, and I am aware of others using this forum who have larger libraries than I do.
