I called Apple support to inquire into why my ipad 2 was freezing after I updated to IOS7 a week ago. I was patched to an individual name "Troy." It seemed as if the tech was attempting to help,( sort of), however in a diagnostic session, Troy told me "I don't see any freezes in the last few days." I said are you sure it just froze 15 minutes aga, and Troy said, "I do see a freeze or two." The techs should Be honest, at the least. I would of felt a little better if Troy would have said, the device is old, buy a new one. NEVER AGAIN

ITunes - App Store - There are updates available that ain't available?
First of all, I'm starting to think that the iPhone ***** big time, but that's a whole other story...
So, here's my issue: Apparently there are updates to my applications available. So says iTunes and also the App Store app on the iPhone, both of them reporting the same number of apps available.
I'm quite sure that there was a button to "update all" on the iPhone on 2.0.1 and 2.0, but that seems to be missing? (but not the point anyway)
Then, in iTunes, the applications view tells me that there are updates available. When I click that link on the lower right that usually redirects to the update page, iTunes tells me that there are no updates available for my account?!
How can that be? Either there are or there ain't.
Is there a way to fix that problem? I would have updated the applications trough the iPhone, but as there are many (44) and I would have do update them one-by-one, I'd like to go an easier way...
I'm really patient, but I start to hate my iPhone. As it is now, it is just a ******* expensive piece of junk. :-((I have fixed a similar issue in my iTunes. Here is my thoughts on why it happened and the fix.
I had recently added a second computer w/ iTunes with which my iPhone is now synching. I wanted to move my music library synching from work to home.
On the 1st PC (@ Work) I was synching:
Info, Contacts
Info, Calendar
Ringtones
Music
Podcasts
Video
Applications
On the 2nd PC (@ Home) I began synching:
Ringtones
Music
Video
Applications (this nicely caused all of my iPhone Applications to be copied to this PC, in case of a need for a restore from home)
After beginning synching on the 2nd PC (@ Home), I disabled synching on 1st PC of:
Ringtones
Music
Video
Applications (This apparently caused the issue)
The issue with phantom updates was showing up on the 1st PC (@ Work), but I was not synching Applications here. Apparently, I had updated some Applications from the 2nd PC (@ Home) and iTunes detected this and saw a need to show that my iTunes Applications needed updating. Something not in synch between iPhone - iTunes - App Store I believe.
The Fix:
On the 1st PC (@ Work) I enabled synching of Applications and then performed a synch. The phantom updates went away. I noted during the synch that my iPhone apparently updated some of the applications in my iTunes library.
I hope this helps or enlightens others having this difficulty. -
Is there a download available of Adobe Design Standard CS4?

I bought the Adobe Design Standard CS4 package a few years ago. Now I got a new MacBook Pro since a couple of days, but I can't find a downloadlink of de Design Standard CS Package on the website. Since I haven't got any DVD reader in my MacBook, I can't install the Adobe programs. Is there a downloadlink available for Adobe Design Standard CS4? I already tried to use my serial number in the Adobe Design Premium CS4 version, but that didn't work.
Hope somebody has a solution that works!

I bought the Adobe Design Standard CS4 package a few years ago.
I presume you bought the Mac version back then. If so your serial number will work OK on the new MacBook Pro.
If you got the Windows version then your serial number will not work on your Mac. -
I have GarageBand for iPad 2 and noticed that there are far fewer loops for iPad than for apple laptops. Is there a library available of apple loops? I haven't been able to find any if there are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto. What do I have to do to upgrade iPhoto?

Why is there so much available space on my hard drive after installing Lion?
I just made the decision to go ahead and install the new operating system "Lion"
I backed everything up to my Time Capsule and I have an older back up of everything on an external hard drive.
Now I have two questions and one task.
Why is there so much available space on my hard drive and where did my iPhoto library go after installing the new operating system?
My task is to restore my most up to date iPhoto library which I assume is on my time capsule.

The genuine Apple adapter works for me, most cheap knockoffs do not support sound ,it is usually in the micro print at bottom of the ebay offerring
It is pricey by comparison but it works and the knock offs usually don't pay the patent licence fee hence they guess the technology that is in the lightning plug

PC Suite - there is no available connection type

I'm running XP SP2 on an IBM t30 laptop. Looking to have all 3 connection methods available. Bluetooth is Widcomm 3.0.x and PC Suite version is 6.8.22.
Initially installed PC Suite fine, but had problems with getting bluetooth connection (IRComm and Cable were fine). Read that best way round this was the reinstall after doing some fiddling with the bluetooth setup. Duly reinstalled, only now I get error when I start the connection manager or manage connections. either "there is no available connection type" for the first or "connection to PC suite failed code:Init IMediaControl2".
In order to try and deal with this I have, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Uninstalled the app and run the PC Suite cleanup tool 3.3 reinstalled the app. Uninstalled the app, run PC suite cleanup, removed all nokia keys from the registry, run cleanup again and reinstalled. The problem persists, my patience does not.

DomMy experience may also be relevant, and since it took me two whole days to remedy it (call me slow, but I'm persistent), I'll share it. I too stopped being able to get a Bluetooth connection in PC Suite, even though the PC could see the phone (6230) in Bluetooth settings and I could see some of the folders on the phone.
I uninstalled and reinstalled PC Suite countless times, did all the spring cleaning I was told to do, nothing. So I thought maybe there is a problem with the Bluetooth stack.
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000, which uses Bluetooth stuff from Toshiba, so I went to their site, http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/. It said to check out Device Manager, and, what do you know, all the Toshiba Bluetooth drivers were missing. I have no idea how, but anyway, I downloaded a new stack at http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/download.php
I installed it, cross my fingers, prayed to the Bluetooth Fairy, and YES YES YES! It works. The end. -
I cannot export projects from GB in my MacBook into GB on my iPad3; nor can I export from IPad to my MacBook. I have tried going onto Apps update on the MacBook, but there were none available. I have read that this omission is to be corrected - can you confirm this is intended to happen, or is it already in process. While awaiting for this essential development, can you please suggest any way of transferring information either way?

I have photoshop CS2 on a mac 10.6.8 OS. I want to upgrade to Yosemite OS (10.10). Will photoshop work on the new OS? Is there an upgrade available if needed? Can I reload it if needed?
Photoshop was the last version compiled for the PPC cpu, not Intel. 10.6.8 kept it going with the Rosetta emulator, gone since 10.7.
So, no CS2 won't work under 10.10
CS6 (permanent license) or Lightroom and Photoshop | Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan is the way to go.

We are attaching PDF files to printed output using the Oracle DocuMaker product, and are running into margin issues with the attached PDF. We need to keep a 3/4 inch margin on our pages for sorting/finishing equipment, and the attached PDFs do not all conform to our margin requirements.

You don't get a choice. If you decide to update, your phone will be updated to the latest iOS version available for your phone. For you, that's iOS 7.0.4.
