i have 8.1.5 database and i want to upgread it to 8.1.7 with a patch .. can any one tel me if there is a patch for that ?

The last iPhoto 8 (09) version was 8.1.2 and you can get it here: iPhoto 8.1.2.
If you want to go higher, i.e. iPhoto 9 (11) that will require purchasing an iLIfe 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.

1. All the crystal reports are designed by using Crystal Report 2008 Version -- 12.3.0.601
2. All reports are uploaded to CMC (SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI, Product: 12.1.0)
3. using Front-End .net Winform
4. Crystal Report is binding is done using Business View Manager (since having more than one databases)
5. Business View Manager Connects to Oracle using "Oracle Server" connection
6. Loading reports as follows

7. All the reports are getting loaded properly and i am able to dynamically set the report parameters
8. After executing report, some of the reports take more than 10 minutes, due to which shows following error
Request timed out because there has been no reply from the server in 600000
Note i have done following:
1. I have checked stored procedure running through oracle for more than 10 minutes (1 hr, 2 hrs)
2. Tried simply running crystal report without front-end running perfectly more than 10 minutes (1 hr, 2 hr)
3. When i run .net winform application for specific reports which takes long time, gives "Request timed out because there has been no reply from the server in 600000"
Also i have done lot much R&D and spent almost weeks to get resolution but not getting any solution out of it, please help me in this case

2. Go to server,right click on Crystal report processing server and select properties,change the idle connection time out to 60 minutes

5. Change the session time out to 60 minutes in web.xml of INfoviewApp,InfoViewAppAction,PlatformSerivces and CrystalReports.

This error is specific to RAS. The default CORBA request timeout is 10 minute = 600000 ms. When the RAS SDK does not get the reponse back from RAS server in 600000 ms it throws this message. Why it works in InfoView\CMC what I believe you refer to as "Front End' application is because InfoView\ CMC don't use RAS.
1. First make sure that a smaller report wich runs pretty fast ( 1-2 min) works. This will confirm that there is no connectivitiy issues between RAS and RAS SDK.
2. If you get the efrror for every single report, even the smaller ones, make sure the box running RAS and RAS SDK code( in case they are 2 different) can ping each other with IP, shortname and FQDN. If there is a firewall between them, the RAS port needs to be opened for bidirectional communication. By default RAS chooses a random port for communication with SDK but within CMC you can configure it to use a specific port and open it.
3. If the issue is specific only to reports that are long running, typically more than 10 minutes, then you need to inclease the CORBA timeout to a value more than what the reports typically would take to process. This is done on client code side or IIS in this case.
Here are the steps:
Make the following changes on the application server/system.
Open RegEdit by going to Start > Run and typing in regedit.exe. Then click Ok.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Report Application Server\Client SDK\CorbaAdapter
Change the value of SendRequestTimeout(ms) to 100000.
Change the value of WaitReplyTimeout(ms) to 6,000,000 ms. The default value is 600,000 ms and may not be long enough.
Restart IIS by going to Start > Run and typing in iisreset. Then click Ok.
Retry the failing application.

Printopia is another option but be aware that since these solutions effectively act as a print server and AirPrint receiver, they require a computer to be running on the same WiFi network.

I put a case on my iPod touch 5 and now there is no sound coming from the speaker. The head phones work though. I called Apple Support and the 2 people I spoke with seemed baffled. Has this happened to anyone and how do I resolve this?

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 and an iPod touch 4 running iOS 5.1.1 as well. None of them is 'jailbroken'. I upgraded my iPod touch to iOS 6 for exploring it a bit more and reverted back to iOS 5.1.1. How? I did it the way stated by the website I mentioned above: just by Option-Clicking the 'Restore' button on iTunes and select the iOS 5.1.1 software. No need to enter recovery mode or DFU mode whatsoever.
In fact, Apple doesn't allow users to downgrade to a previous version of iOS: 'Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported.' No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

TS1425 My iPod Classic was working fine all day. Came home and uploaded to voice memos via iTunes, now there is no sound coming from my iPod. I've used both headphones and a docking station. The songs don't even begin, they just skip to the next one.

Have you tried resetting the PMU?
I'm not optimistic that this will help any more than the procedures you've already tried, but it won't hurt to try.
Do you still have your OS 9 installation? If so, try booting into OS 9 and see if the problems with the audio are happening there, too. If so, you can bet it's a hardware problem.
How big is your hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If you don't have your OS 9 installation in order to check out whether it's a hardware problem and you have enough available hard drive space, you may want to try an Archive and Install of the OS in order to make sure it isn't an OS X system-wide problem. If that doesn't do it, you could back up your hard drive and restore your software.
All of this may just be spinning your wheels, but it's all stuff you can try before shelling out a lot of money for repairs.

Could you specify the model of MacBook and the OS X it's running, please? Some of the advice or references vary along with the system, so this could be helpful to formulate a reply. I've never used a Guest User selection, but do have more than one User.
If the computer does not have an optical drive, you may be able to boot it into a recovery disk mode or something; in an attempt to see what is wrong and maybe fix it.

Is there any way to stream FROM my Apple TV TO my iPad? I know I can stream from the pad to the TV, but I haven't seen anything that lets me do it vice-versa. I want to stream while my computer is off/asleep. I don't want to keep my computer awake all the time simply to be prepared for the random moment when I want to watch a movie but I'm not in a position to go turn on my computer and turn on iTunes. If my Apple TV could stream the movies and music, that would suit my needs, but it looks like that feature isn't available. Does anyone know how to work around it using either Apple or 3rd-party software/hardware?

You can use Apples Remote app to stream any macs iTunes library to ATV1 but only second gen ATV,s are capable of streaming direct from iOS devices.

First, you can install Microsoft's Security Essentials in the Win 7 VM and keep it up-to-date. Second, you can turn off Sharing in Fusion's System Settings to keep the VM environment separate from your Mac. Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, of which your example of "1400 gems for $49.99" is right up there. It is way too caveat emptor for my taste, but each consumer can form their own opinion on that.
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds providing you explain the extenuating circumstances (purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
As roaminggnome notes, you need to place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default, so you need to take action to do this. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions

Need to know your Mac model. If it's a PowerPC, the max OS is Leopard 10.5.x. If it's an Intel procesor, you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (for $29) & later to Lion.

Hi,
I am using "Embedded report application server 11.5".
When i am going to launch report with the help of above mentioned server i am getting "Request timed out because there has been no reply from the server for more than 600,000 milliseconds" error.I have already huge data for passed parameter
Steps that i followed:
1)I have set unlimited jobs in server.
2)In registry entry i have set 10,00,000 miliseconds insted of 6,00,000 miliseconds.
Can anybudy please provide me some solution for this.
