Is there a page or size limit in Pages?

I can't seem to add any more pages to my document, either on my phone or iPad? Does anyone know if this is a page or size or picture limit?
Thanks.

What you get in Pages is Pages's normal view.
There is no draft mode in this app.

  • Is there a hard drive size limit for G5 imacs?

    I recently added a 1.5 TB firewire drive to my father's iMac. Since then the system has been hanging frequently and I have not been able to restart the machine remotely using either Timbuktu or ssh sudo reboot.
    Is this drive too big for leopard to handle on the G5?

  • Is there a hard drive size limit  that can be hooked to the airport extreme

    I am trying to connect a 2TB HDD to my Airport Extreme but it doesn't see it. It is a Mac formatted drive I have been using as my backup drive but want to put it on the Airport Extreme to share some other stuff that's on it. When I hook in a 500GB drive it works just fine.
    There are no windows machines (god forbid) that will share it, all Mac.
    Thanks!

  • Is there a Maximum file size limit when combining pdf files

    I am trying to combine files 8 PDF files created with i Explore using Acrobat XI Standard, the process is completed but when opening the file not all 8 individual files have been combined only the first two have been combined, the process shows all eight being read and combined.
    I can open and view each of the original 8 individual files and read the content without any issue, the largest of the eight files is 15,559kb and the smallest is 9,435kb
    if anyone can assist that would be most appreciated

    Hi Tayls450,
    This should not have happened as there is no maximum file size limit when combining PDFs.
    Please let me know if there are some password protected PDFs also?
    Also, I would suggest you to choose 'Repair Acrobat Installation' option from the Help menu.

  • Is there a Shared Video size limit?

    Hello, I am having a problem accessing videos from a shared library. My smaller video podcasts are not a problem. I purchased a TV Show from iTunes and can only watch it on that specific pc. If I try to access it from my laptop, I can see it in the list but when I try to play it, I never get a "Connecting to URL" message. WHen I press the play button in iTunes, it stays pressed in while trying to access but then stops after about 8 seconds.
    Is there a size limit on what can be shared on video?
    Is there a timeout setting in iTunes in that if it doesn't receive enough data within 5 seconds from the host iTunes pc it doesn't allow the video to come across?
    Here is what I have done already to help in further questions.
    Both machines are on Windows XP Home
    Both machines have Quicktime 7.4.1
    Both machines have iTunes 7.6
    Both machines are on the same local subnet (wireless) and same workgroup
    Both machines have the firewalls turned off
    Again, like I said if I play my 5-25mb video podcasts, they work fine.

    I'm having the same problem.
    I have a bunch of podcasts that have video.
    I can watch them fine on my main PC.
    Sharing via iTunes, I can watch shorter videos fine on my other PC. Anything over several minutes though just won't play via sharing. I see the same symptoms housej5 describes.. the "Now Playing" box comes up with "Nothing Playing" and simply nothing happens.
    Anyone else seeing this? Any clues?
    Both machines running XP Pro and iTunes 7.6.1.9

  • Is there a PDF file size limit in Mail?

    Hi
    On an iPad 2 IOS 5.1.1, if I receive an email with a PDF sized around 1.6mb I can touch the download arrow and it counts up from 0 bytes to the size of the file then, once downloaded, I can open it in iBooks, Goodreader etc.
    If, however, I receive a PDF attachment of around 2mb or bigger, I touch the down arrow, it says "0 bytes of 2.1mb", the spinning wheel goes around in the PDF attachment icon for a few seconds and then it sort of blinks and goes back to giving me the download arrow.
    I've tried this with various size pdf's and on cellular and wifi connections and it's consistently the same.
    Update: it does the same with jpg's too, which is odd. Just tried a 3.6mb file attached to an email and it does the same.
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Matt

    The limit of an e-mail is 25MB.
    That means you cant send e-mail if you are over the limit.(mission impossible)
    There can be a problem with the mail server.

  • Is there a 2GB file size limit on saving a custom format plugin for a custom file type?

    I have resolved issues on reading files > 2GB. Now when I save files >2GB, I get a popup that states there is a 2GB limit for plugins.
    I an using photoshop CS6 on a MAC OSX 10.9 with 16 GB RAM.
    The custom file type is what should be selected when the Save As Dialogue is visible.
    I looked for a setting in the Photoshop preferences for Files & setting to PSB, but did not see one.
    I tried modifying values in the PiPL for formatmaxSize and PluginMaxSize, but the only values that the code will compile in with:
    32767 & 2147483647.
    I saw a posting in previous years that custom plugins were limited to 2 GB.

    I would like to rephrase my question, now that I have worked a little more with my code.
    Is there a 2GB limit per channel and 4GB limit for total file size for a custom photoshop format plugin?

  • Is there a final video size limit or restriction when rendering a composition?

    Im a self thought After effect user, so I might not know the exact terms that I need to use for my question. I need to create a video thats is in its final size 1080x3840 px. This is being used in a two screen setup and being played by a single player that splits this on video into the two screens without having to create two separate videos. I can create the composition size to the pixels needed but when I render the video it automatically refers the video to 1080x1920 px which is the size of only one screen. When this render happens the top and bottom of the video get cut off. I have create the final video to 3840x1080 px but this is not what works for the set up. Does After Effects have a height limit when it comes to the final output of the composition? If it does, can it be unlocked so i can create the final 1080x3840 px?  Do I need to use an other program to accomplish this, anything would help. The codec I'm using is H.264 at a 10 Mbps. Thank you

    Well what i got from them is that they need the the file to be on H.264 codec at 10-15 Mbps at the size of 3840x1080 px. It would be played by one player that uses the H.264 codec. All i need is to be able to do is to output the final video to the size they are asking since everything else works fine. I want to know if i could make the final video size in After Effects or if I have to switch the layout to 1080x3480 px since that has no restrains and then bring it into another program. I have done multiple video files for them and the work fine but they are not to the size they need since every time I render the composition it crops it from 3840x1080 px to 1920x1080 px leaving the the top and bottom of the video out completely.

  • OLM content management: is there an upload file size limit?

    Hello -
    I am wondering if anyone has encountered a limit on the size of a file uploaded as content for a learning object? I have one zip file that is about 225 MB and fails on the upload, after trying for some time, with this error:
    JSP Error:
    Request URI:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp
    Exception:
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    I am successful uploading all other content objects, all of which are much smaller. I am using Oracle Learning Management 11.5.10.2. My workaround, successful, is to extract the zip file manually into the appropriate directory on the Learning Management content server.
    Steps to reproduce (standard):
    1. Create learning object
    2. Attempt to upload zip file
    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Dears,
    i'm facing the same issue on content server with IAS 10G
    would u please advise ?
    and please for the workaround to FTP the file to the respected directory i have done so but it didn't appear in OLM folder please elaborate.
    thanks

    Hi,
    I'm trying to replace an attribute using ldapmodify (directory 4.12) that is just over 2Mb. When I try I get the message "can't contact LDAP server" - the server is running. If I drop the size of the attribute below 2Mb I can successfully import.

    Just looked at the docs and assume that it's maxbersize.

  • FILE and FTP Adapter file size limit

    Hi,
    Oracle SOA Suite ESB related:
    I see that there is a file size limit of 7MB for transferring using File and FTP adapter and that debatching can be used to overcome this issue. Also see that debatching can be done only for strucutred files.
    1) What can be done to transfer unstructured files larger than 7MB from one server to the other using FTP adapter?
    2) For structured files, could someone help me in debatching a file with the following structure.
    000|SEC-US-MF|1234|POPOC|679
    100|PO_226312|1234|7130667
    200|PO_226312|1234|Line_id_1

    400|Location_ID_N|1234|Dist_ID_N

    I would need a the complete data in a single file at the destination for each file in the source. If there are as many number of files as the number of batches at the destination, I would need the file output file structure be as follows:
    000|SEC-US-MF|1234|POPOC|679
    100|PO_226312|1234|7130667

    400|Location_ID_1|1234|Dist_ID_1

    Ok Here are the steps
    1. Create an inbound file adapter as you normally would. The schema is opaque, set the polling as required.
    2. Create an outbound file adapter as you normally would, it doesn't really matter what xsd you use as you will modify the wsdl manually.
    3. Create a xsd that will read your file. This would typically be the xsd you would use for the inbound adapter. I call this address-csv.xsd.
    4. Create a xsd that is the desired output. This would typically be the xsd you would use for the outbound adapter. I have called this address-fixed-length.xsd. So I want to map csv to fixed length format.
    5. Create the xslt that will map between the 2 xsd. Do this in JDev, select the BPEL project, right-click -> New -> General -> XSL Map
    6. Edit the outbound file partner link wsdl, the the jca operations as the doc specifies, this is my example.
    <jca:binding  />
            <operation name="MoveWithXlate">
          <jca:operation
              InteractionSpec="oracle.tip.adapter.file.outbound.FileIoInteractionSpec"
              SourcePhysicalDirectory="foo1"
              SourceFileName="bar1"
              TargetPhysicalDirectory="C:\JDevOOW\jdev\FileIoOperationApps\MoveHugeFileWithXlate\out"
              TargetFileName="purchase_fixed.txt"
              SourceSchema="address-csv.xsd"
              SourceSchemaRoot ="Root-Element"
              SourceType="native"
              TargetSchema="address-fixedLength.xsd"
              TargetSchemaRoot ="Root-Element"
              TargetType="native"
              Xsl="addr1Toaddr2.xsl"
              Type="MOVE">
          </jca:operation> 7. Edit the outbound header to look as follows
        <types>
            <schema attributeFormDefault="qualified" elementFormDefault="qualified"
                    targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/file/"
                    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
                    xmlns:FILEAPP="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/file/">
                <element name="OutboundFileHeaderType">
                    <complexType>
                        <sequence>
                            <element name="fileName" type="string"/>
                            <element name="sourceDirectory" type="string"/>
                            <element name="sourceFileName" type="string"/>
                            <element name="targetDirectory" type="string"/>
                            <element name="targetFileName" type="string"/>
                        </sequence>
                    </complexType>
                </element>
            </schema>
        </types>   8. the last trick is to have an assign between the inbound header to the outbound header partner link that copies the headers. You only need to copy the sourceDirectory and SourceGileName
        <assign name="Assign_Headers">
          <copy>
            <from variable="inboundHeader" part="inboundHeader"
                  query="/ns2:InboundFileHeaderType/ns2:fileName"/>
            <to variable="outboundHeader" part="outboundHeader"
                query="/ns2:OutboundFileHeaderType/ns2:sourceFileName"/>
          </copy>
          <copy>
            <from variable="inboundHeader" part="inboundHeader"
                  query="/ns2:InboundFileHeaderType/ns2:directory"/>
            <to variable="outboundHeader" part="outboundHeader"
                query="/ns2:OutboundFileHeaderType/ns2:sourceDirectory"/>
          </copy>
        </assign>you should be good to go. If you just want pass through then you don't need the native format set to opaque, with no XSLT
    cheers

  • Belle email transmit 2MB size limit - what exactly...

    There are multiple threads here which claim there is a 2MB size limit on sent emails - unless when you set up the email account you DECLINE the terms and conditions.
    HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS WORK????
    Maybe Nokia are providing an email service (like Yahoo or Hotmail, etc) in which case, yes.
    But any "normal" email user is going to configure a POP server for receiving, and an SMTP server for transmitting. Surely, if you transmit emails via your configured SMTP server, there cannot be any Nokia-imposed email size limit?
    The only way there might be a universal limit would be if Belle, quietly and transparently, ignored the SMTP server settings and actually sent the email to some Nokia-operated SMTP server, together with the login details of the SMTP server which you configured in the phone, and the Nokia server then passed the email on to your one.
    There is a separate issue with sending attachments from the Gallery (photos or movies) whereby the invocation of the email app (via the Send / Email menu) crashes the email if the attachment size is bigger than about 500k bytes. It happens only if the email app is thus invoked. It happens with both the Nokia Gallery app and with 3rd party picture album apps. It does not happen if one starts a fresh email and then attaches files to it (which just happen to be images) and I have successfully sent myself 40MB emails that way.
    However if the email app crashes, or fails to send the email due to persistent poor mobile data connectivity, any attachments will be left orphaned in the 1000484b folder and will eat up your c: space, so one needs to do this with caution.

  • Quicksilver scsi drive size limit ?

    Hello all.
    The original 37gig SCSI drive on my Quicksilver (NOT mirror door) is beginning to sing a sad song so I am looking into replacement.
    I know there is a 128gig size limit for ATA drives in this model but is there any size limit for internal SCSI ????
    I have already added a 120gig ATA with my original 80gig ATA so I think I'm pretty well maxed out (heat and power wise) on internal ATA drives.
    Due to the cost of SCSI drives I'm thinking what I may do is buy an external LARGE firewire dive, transfer the contents of my internal SCSI drive to that firewire drive and then just use the SCSI drive as a dedicated "video capture" drive until it finally dies.
    So, besides the original question about SCSI drive size limits does anyone have anythoughts on going external firewire vs. additional internal drives?
    Thanks.

    Hello! If speed is an issue get a sata Raptor drive (most 36 or 80 gigs). The access time is as fast as a 10,000 rpm scsi drive. Just add a sata card to use the sata drive. Tom

  • Tektronix DMM 4050 / SignalExpress, file size limit?

    Sorry for the rookie / noob nature of this question, this is my 1st experience with this type of testing...  I need to record ~210 hours worth of capacitance readings via Tektronix DMM 4050 / SignalExpress & the unit captures 2 readings per second.  Is there a default file size limit that will shut the recording down once it is hit?  If so, how do I alter or remove that limit?

    Hi,
    There shouldn't be a limit as far as I know. In case it's affected by other view settings, try to start Outlook with the switch "/cleanviews", then create the conditional formatting again to check the result.
    To start with "/cleanviews", in the Run dialog, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews", press Enter.
