The E-M1 was first supported by Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC. It is not compatible with CS5 or lower and never will be.
Some options:
Upgrade to CS6
Join the Cloud
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the Raw E-M1 files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5

Is there a patch for the NTP security issue that does not require Xcode? I have an older Intel mini that can't be upgraded beyond 10.6.8 and I currently don't have room for Xcode 3.2.5. Has somebody trustworthy posted these binaries?

TCP Sequence number in Java domain

Hi,
Trying to get a platform unique number I thought about a combination between IP address and the local machine TCP sequence number.
Is there a way in Java to get the TCP sequence number?

I don't think you can get down to that level. Java 1.6 might allow this when it is released.
There have been several posts today about determining "machine uniqueness". Usual solutions rely on platform-specific code to get some low-level network information (e.g. MAC address). The problem with this is
1) It currently relies on native calls (1.6 should have an API for MAC address though).
2) MAC addresses (local IP addresses, machine names, etc) can easily be changed/spoofed.
If you're using 1.5 and your code runs on the client-side, there is a pure-java fix you can do. You can generate a java.util.UUID for each machine when your software first runs, then store this value using the Preferences API. This number will persist until the OS is wiped.

Are there any patches for OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0?

Following a new installation of OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0, I checked Oracle Support looking for any patches. I don't even see that release in the drop-down list of products. (The installer did not find any software updates either). I would be interested in finding any needed patches for both the Linux 64-bit server installation as well as the PC Admin Client.
Is there somewhere else to look for required or recommended patches? Are you aware of any that are needed?

Yes, there are 11.1.1.6.1 and .2 too patches available on top of 11.1.1.6.0. In Metalink, you could search for patch 13884769 for .2.

we have very large application build using oracle forms 6i
(release 2) & reports 6i & Oracle Database as back-end server.
Now we want to port our application on sql server. Is there any

Is there a patch for Adobe Illustrator CS4 for the issue described in APSB10-29 for CS5?

APSB10-29 acknowledges a problem that affects CS5 and ALL earlier versions, however only makes available a patch for CS5. We tried using the patch on our CS4 installation, but it says it isn't applicable to our installation. Is there an applicable fix for earlier versions such as ours?

We use the Nessus vulnerability scanner to check for potential OS and applications security issues, and it's picking up on this vulnerability in our Illustrator CS4 installattion, and it's suggesting we apply the 15.0.2 update, which we can't. So is this likely just a false positive? Do we know for a fact that this issue is strictly a CS5 issue? If that's the case I'll just note it as such and move on. Thanks.

Found info in "Oracle Database Software Downloads" below. My current install on laptop is "Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Microsoft Windows", and would like to upgrade the 10.2.0.1 Express Edition to 10.2.0.4.
Short of a standard edition or an enterprise edition install, is it possible to upgrade the Express Edition to 10.2.0.4?

Wright detailed the issue in a blog post titled “Facebook Mobile Security Hole allows Identity theft.” He explained that all a hacker needs is to grab your Facebook plist file (.plist is the extension used for a property list file, often used to store a user’s settings), which Facebook reportedly sets not to expire for another 2,000 years.
Here’s what happened when Wright sent his .plist over to his friend and blogger, Scoopz:
After backing up his own plist and logging out of Facebook he copied mine over to his device and opened the Facebook app…
My jaw dropped as over the next few minutes I watched posts appear on my wall, private messages sent, webpages liked and applications added.
Scoopz then opened Draw Something on his iPad which logged him straight into my account where he sent some pictures back to my friends.
In his post, Wright outlined five proof of concepts for the attack:

A recompile of an open source iphone explorer like program with the added code.
A saved game editing tool with the added code.

Is there a patch for Word? My new macbook air keeps freezing up on me when I use Word.

I have a new macbook air with Osx 10.7.2 and it freezes on me regularly. It has frozen on me 4 times within the last hour of trying to work on a word docuement with i try to insert anyting into the document the only fix is to manually reboot by holding down the on/off button. I am not a happy camper at this point and am wondering if there is an upadate or a patch to fix these freezes!?

I had the same issue last year. it turned out to be my Bluetooth earpiece reached the end of its battery life.
When I got a replacement the problem went away.

I recently purchased a Canon 6D, and I was surprised to find out that my Preview and iPhoto does not read the new Canon RAW codec. It's been out for almost 7 or 8 months. All my software is current. I have a 2007 MacBook Pro with iOS 10.7.5 The software that Canon supplied is terribly slow when it comes to importing the CR2 files and exporting them as jpegs. iPhoto can import my Canon 40D CR2 photos and spit out the jpeg proofs super quick. So, does anyone know of any software updates that I may have overlooked regarding iPhoto or Preview. I can't upgrade to Mavericks, as my computer will not support it. I have a feeling I may be SOL, but thanks for any help!

10.7.5 is not an iOS, it is a Mac OS X. And no, it is not current. 10.9.3 is current. As for your 6D, here's the RAW by operating system support:

OS X Mountain Lion: Supported digital camera RAW formats10.8
OS X Mavericks: Supported digital camera RAW formats10.9 support
Turns out the 6D is supported for 10.7. You need the RAW compatibility update 4.0.3:
Digital Camera RAW Compatibility 4.03
And the 40d is natively supported by 10.7.

Write hebrew text where latin numbers must be added before the hebrew words starting .
Notepad.app bundled with iOS5 does it correct while pages 1.5 in iOS5 does not . Example :

Pages and all other iWork apps have been broken for RTL scripts ever since they first appeared for OS X 6 years ago. As far as I know the iOS version is unfortunately no better. In both cases most people just have to use other apps (Mellel, TextEdit, Nisus Writer, or OpenOffice for OS X).
