Is there a patch or update to Acrobat X to prevent program from stop working?

Is there now a patch or update (fix) to prevent Acrobat X from stopping to work? This has been a known issue, with a lengthy workaraound (i.e. deactivate, launch another adobe product to start trial, enter serial number again, etc). With many computers to apply the workaround, this is a lot of work.

I got the same issue: Acrobat won't create pdfs, but keeps asking me for the serial number.
I use Acrobat 10.1.16 (within CS 5.5 Teacher's Edition) on a Windows 7 (64) Notebook.
An update to fix this issue would be great.

The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program

trying to install an update patch for Citrix xendesktop 7.5 and the error when I click on the msi patch is "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch

The application was installed 2 days prior and works fine but the patch will not install.

Yes let's see if there is any error occurs in installation log.
Meanwhile from the error message, the possible cause is that a part of the application is missing such as a registry key with app version. In this situation you can first test to reinstall/repair the application though it is still working fine - see if issue
persists after reinstall the app.
Meanwhile you could also contact Citrix about this issue. It may be a common issue and Citrix may provide a quick fix for it.

You may select how and whether Firefox updates, although like most software it may be sensible to keep it up-to-date, it is more likely to remain secure and compatible with other software whilst up to date.

The troubleshooting steps below can help get your iPhone's camera working again.
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

I use Windows 7 Professional. I have been informed that I need to update my Acrobat 10.1.11 to 10.1.12 but each time I try I am told that there is a problem and I should contact my patch supplier! My patch supplier is Adobe but there is no way of asking them for help. What should I do? I regret the file you mention is not on my C Drive.
I have sent you a screen print of what is there and you will see the nearest file to the one you speak about is msvcr100.dll.
Also when I went to Control Panel and selected the program menu and then selected the Acrobat X Pro, the only options are Organise, Uninstall or Change. But not Repair??

Updates fail when McAfee VirusScan is installed ( Prevent Common Standard Protection ) Prevent programs from running from the Temp directory.

When Access Protection is enabled under the category "Common Standard Protection", Rule: Prevent common programs from running files from the Temp Directory is enabled. the updates fail.
This rule provides some protection against possible malware execution. However when this rule is enabled FireFox updates fail. We have set exclusions for "updater.exe" but the problem seems to be when FF restarts and the update fails. Is there anyway of finding out what is happening at that point?? as in what FF is doing? The old FF closes and it seems to spawn a fresh "firefox.exe". But the OLD version is still current.
I would like to know if this update process can be identified and with the possibility of excluding what is being blocked so keep the extra security that this rule gives.

Since the Maverick update, iPhoto 11 export of a slideshow has stopped working. Any suggestions?

Since the Maverick update, iPhoto 11 exporting of a slideshow no longer works. It did prior to the update. The more flexible drop down menu when selecting Export has been replaced by 3 choices; 480p, 720, and 1080p. Any suggestions?

This image shows the slideshows being saved to the iTunes library before the Maverick update. I had 3 decent size videos from the slideshows that played on Apple TV. None of the exports after Maverick made it to iTunes. They show up in the iPhoto slideshow folder as a file, but with nothing in them.
Hope this helps explain what I have done and the comparitves. Any suggestions?

Acrobat works for a 60 day period and then becomes inactive (I don't use other components that often but am assuming those also stop working). The first time I had this happen, I tried the forums and saw the recommendation to de-activate and re-activate, which I did. That however, seems to have only re-set the clock back for another 60 day trial. I've already purchased the software, is there any way I can actually continue to use it without having to go through this painful de-activation and activation every 60 days.
Adobe used to have user friendly products but their new products appear to be particularly user unfriendly.
