Is there a possibility to open a EPS-File within Adobe Photoshop Elements 11?

Hi there!
I'd like to know, if there is a way to open and render a .eps file within Photoshop Elements 11?

EPS Tiff Preview

Drop EPS Parser.8BY (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 8/9/10\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins) from some recent old versions in E11 Plugins folder

No, EPS is one of the formats that adobe removed support for, starting with PSE 11.

How do I open a PSA file type in Photoshop Elements 12

A file with a .PSA extension is most probably a catalog file from an older version of Elements (up to PSE5). To be able to use it with a newer version (including PSE12), you'll have to convert the catalog to the new format. In the organizer, open the 'File' menu, select the catalog manager (shift Ctrl C) and click the convert button, browse to the .psa file. Your catalog will be converted to the new format.

Is it possible to perform a photomerge Panorama using Adobe Photoshop Elements 13?

    Barbara,
The step I was missing was to change the mode via the control button at the top of the user interface from "Quick" to "Expert". Under the "Quick" mode Photomerge Panorama is grayed out. Thank you for your input!

  • Just bought Nikon D600, can't open the raw file from my Photoshop element 9, please adivise.  Thanks

Can't open the raw file in my Photoshop Element 9 from my new Nikon D600, please help. many thanks
    Brian

    Hi,
The D600 requires camera raw version 7.3 or later - that is not compatible with Photoshop Elements 9.
    You need to either
    1) upgrade to Photoshop Elements 11 or 12
    or
    2) you can download the free Adobe DNG converter to convert you NEF files to DNG files and then PSE 9 can read the DNG files
The latest version of the DNG converter that you can use will depend on your operating system.
    For XP or Vista :
    DNG Converter 8.3

    For Windows 7 or 8
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.5
    For Mac
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Adobe DNG Converter 8.5

  • How to use .eps files in Adobe Photoshop CS

I purchased some vectorshapes from Vectorstock, and downloaded .zip files to my desktop. I then extracted the files to the /presets/customshapes folder in Adobe Photoshop CS. (I have Windows 7). I then found out they were not .CSH files but Encapsulated PostScript or .eps files. How can I use them in Adobe Photoshop? Please help

    Thanks, that helps.

  • Why i can't open my raw file in adobe photoshop cs6... and i use camera Canon 650D

why i can't open my raw file?

You probably need to update your Camera Raw plug-in for CS6 to something new enough to understand the 650D raw files.
The usual way you’d do this would be Help / Updates in PS.

  • Unable to open Bridge CS6 after installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 8

I have been using Bridge CS6 successfully until I installed Photoshop Elements 8 to use with a scanner I bought.  After the installation, when clicking on Bridge CS6 it opens Bridge CS5.   I had a look at some of the forums and tried Ctrl-clicking on Bridge CS6, but it still opens  Bridge CS5.  I have also re-installed Photoshop CS6 in the hope that this will fix it.  Any suggestions as how to get Bridge CS6 going again will be appreciated!

Thanks for the replies.  I was able to sort this myself after I watched the the following video on how to reset the Adobe preferences:  http://tv.adobe.com/watch/the-complete-picture-with-julieanne-kost/how-to-reset-photoshop- cs6s-preferences-file/   I did the manual reset where I moved only the preference file to another location e.g. the Desktop.  I restarted my computer.  Closed Bridge CS5 that was running in the background and then clicked on Bridge CS6 and the program opened.  I decided to take a chance to see if this won't fix it and was elated when it worked.  Don't ask my why, but it did the job!

  • Is it possible to open a PDF file with Adobe Reader 5 starting on a particular page?

I could only find a documentation for version 6 and above

Latest Adobe Reader version has a feature wherein it can open the PDF from the page where you last used it.
You can download it from : http://get.adobe.com/reader/

  • How to open a jpg file with Adobe Camera Raw

I know it is possible to open a jpg file with Adobe Camera Raw using Bridge but is it possible to do this using PSE7?  Thanks.

Yes. In the editor, File>Open As, and choose camera raw as the format. John Ellis also has a script for doing this directly from the organizer, but I don't have the link right at the moment. Hopefully he'll be along with it sooner or later.

  • I can't open Adobe Photoshop Elements 12.

Whenever I try to open it I get a message that says "There was a problem starting c:\users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\newtext.me\nengine.dll" What should I do to fix this?

    Hi,
Try creating shortcuts direct to the applications and use them each time.
Create shortcuts pointing to the following files:-
    Organizer: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
    Editor: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Please let us know if they work.
    Good luck

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 - It won't stay open

My Adoble Photoshop Elements 11 will not stay open when I open it. A window pops up saying that Adobe Photoshop has stopped working and needs to close. I don't know why it's closing. Windows checks for  a solution, then says that a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. It will close the program and notify me if they come up with a solution for the problem. I don't know why it does that or what's wrong. I don't want to have to restart my computer to open Photoshop everytime. What is wrong?

Try making a direct shortcut for the Organizer and Editor. You can then launch the programs directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen. This is generally better as the welcome screen leaves background processes running.
On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 11 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
Then make a direct shortcut for the Editor in a similar manner.
On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
    "C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
N.B. navigate to Program Files on 32 bit systems.
To launch, try right-clicking on the new desktop icons and choose “Run As Administrator” which often improves stability.
