Is there a program that will allow me to down load HD video from my Canon HD 10 video camera

Is there a program that will allow me yo doen load hd vidieo from my Canon Hd 10 to my Imac?

For a Mac?  Sure. If you have iMovie, Final Cut Express, or Final Cut Pro you can capture your HDV or DV clips with any of these apps.

  • Is there a plug-in that will allow me to view CR2 (raw) files from a Cannon 5D Mark III to PSE 9 ?

is there a plug-in that will allow me to view CR2 (raw) files from a Cannon 5D Mark III to PSE 9 ?

The 5D.3 was first supported in ACR 6.7 which you need PSE 10 to use, so there is no plug-in for PSE9 that will allow opening the files from a camera newer than when PSE9 became obsolete.
Besides getting PSE12, assuming it is supported on your current computer—check the specs, you can use the free DNG Converter available from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html
to convert your CR2 files to DNG files that are compatible with older versions of ACR.  Be sure to set your DNGC compatibility settings to a version old enough to be openable with PSE 10’s ACR.
As far as whether the OP is serious, it doesn’t hurt to ask the question before spending money on something you didn’t need.

Is there a download that will allow me to play videos on my iPad2 that require adobe flash?

None of them get sterling reviews, go to http://www.appshopper.com, set it to iPad and search for Flash.

  • I can't open RAW files from new Sony Alpha a6000 camera in PSE 11 camera raw editor. Is there an update that will allow me to do this or do I need to always use DNG convertor?

I can't open RAW files from new Sony Alpha a6000 camera in PSE 11 camera raw editor. Is there an update that will allow me to do this or do I need to always use DNG convertor?

You would need to update to PSE 12, or just keep using the DNG converter. Your camera requires ACR 8.4, which isn't compatible with PSE 11. It's also not compatible with PSE 12 if you are running Vista or XP.

  • Is there a converter that will allow earlier versions of Audition to open sesx files?

Is there a converter that will allow earlier versions of Audition to open sesx files?

SteveG and ryclark have this covered.
The only thing I would add is that if you really must convert from CS5 to AA3 then use AATranslator to convert to an AA3 xml.
No fx will be converted but you will get the best possible conversion.
Again this is only if you must and obviously the earlier in the project (before applying fx) the better.
FWIW you would only need the $59 version but certainly it is good advice to keep multiple AA versions on your PC

  • Is there an accessory that will allow me to connect my iPad 2 to a TV and at the same time have it charging?

I'm going on vacation and want to watch movies on a TV by connecting my iPad 2 to the TV.  I've got the cable for that.  However, I'm afraid of the battery going dead right in the middle of a program.  I've noticed that the iPad dock only has one outlet in the back for a cable.  Is there a dock or another accessory that would allow me to have my iPad charging while I also have it connected to the TV to watch the movie?  Thanks.

If your TV is HDMI (and most are now) the Digital AV adapter does just that. Just remember that you need to have an HDMI cable.

  • Is there a program that will let me open  AOL email saved in Mac OSX 10.4.7? I am now running Mountain Lion

I have a 27"  iMac runnung Mountain Lion. When I try to opem my AOL email files saved in OSX 10.4.11 on a 20" iMacG5, I get a message saying "You cannot open the application 'America Online' because the Classic environment is no longer supported." Are there any programs out there which could convert these files so that I can use them? Thank goodness I still have my old computer for now.

Connect the new hybrid drive to your MBP.  Start up your MBP holding the OPTION key, the two HDD icons will appear.  Select the 'restore' icon on the right.  When you get to the menu where you have 4 options, select Disk Utility.  Format the drive and then you can use the option of restoring it from Time Machine.
    Ciao.

  • Is there an app that will allow my toddler to access or use her apps and games without being able to do other things on my iPad?

My two year old loves to use my iPad.  She has apps for reading, shapes, counting, etc.  My problem is that when she uses my iPad, she is constantly scrolling through and changing settings or getting into other apps.  Is there an app I can download that I can turn on while she is using the iPad that will limit her access to only her apps?
I apologize in advance but I don't know what version of the iPad I have.  It is about 2 years old.
    Thanks.

Such functionality is built-in: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5509 but for single apps.

  • HT5910 Help me find a program that will allow me to tag files with color over file name and not just a small dot that is not easy to see.

Need help to find program that allows me to relabel files with a bold color that is easy to recognize and not just a small nearly invisible dot at the end of the line.

That's one of the many features in the feature-packed "Finder Sustitiute" file brower program, Path Finder, by CocoaTech . It's extremely powerful, with enhanced searching, file list filtering, and batch file operations. It also has an amazing preview mode for most all file types.

  • Is there a program that will check for viruses or other reasons why it runs slow?

For several months my iMac has been running slow or freezing often. Safari often quits unexpectedly as does mail on occasion.

Programs that check for viruses are a major cause of slow Macs, so let's look at doing steps that don't handicap your computer:
    1) How full is your hard drive? You need a minimum of 10G free for background processes such as Virtual Memory.
    2) How much RAM is installed? RAM for the Mid-2010s is rather cheap at the moment, I upgraded my 27-inch Mid-2010 recently from the original 4GB to 12 GB for about US$55. Installation took only minutes.
    3) If you have an external hard drive for backups, are you using something other than Time Machine to do the backups. Many third-party backup programs can cause a performance hit.
The next step is a little longer. It checks to see if some runaway background process is eating processor cycles and slowing you down:
    1) Use your computer normally for typical tasks for several hours, then quit any applications you have launched. Do not restart.
    2) In Applications > Utilities, find Activity Monitor. If you've not used it before, you have to change a setting. At the top of the AM window is a "Show" option. By default it is set to show "My Processes." Change it to "All Processes" like this:
    4) Now highlight the "%CPU"column as shown so the most active processes "bubble"to the top (tiny arrow points down).
Now watch things move up and down for a minute of two. What you are looking for is any single process that is using more than about 10 percent of the processor cycles while the computer is idling. If you see one doing that, post its name in a reply here.
    Awaiting your report,
    Allan

  • Is there an application that will allow me to control my iphone from my macbook?

i'd like to use my macbook to do all the setup and what not vs the small keyboard on screen.  Maybe im a few years ahead of my self here but i've been a mac user since my apple se with 2 YES TWO FLOPPY DRIVES!!!!
i'll admit after we left OS9 i began to just use the mac rather than learn command prompts and all that Gooey stuff.  OSX didnt turn me away from mac but it makes me feel less "Confident" when trying to make applications, fonts, systems and hardware play nicely.  I'm that mac user that twist ties and neatly hides all wires and what not so you only see the laptop and the phone with a little mouse next to them.
Anyhow, if anyone presently has their new iPhone 4s connected to their Mac and can flip thru the actual phone via the CPU i'd love to know where to start!
    I appreciate any input!

  • Is there an application that will allow adding files to a "Burned Disk"?

In the Finder, if I burn several folders to a disk, I can not add any additional files later, even though I've used less than 10% of the disk's capacity. Is there any way around this? Some other disk burning application?
    Patrick

    Take a look at: disco
    (free App)
CD sessions, turned off by default, allow you to add more files to a disc that has been used before. Instead of erasing the data that is already on the disc (as is done with CD and DVD rewritable discs), it appends the new data to the existing data.
    Using Sessions
Session CDs allow you to burn additional data to an already burned CD. After inserting a session disc in your mac, depending on whether or not you have set it to automatically add sessions to appendable discs, you will be able to burn additional data to the disc.
