Is there a quick trick to view a tab's full length label in iPad iOS Safari?

I have ipad rotated for landscape viewing, but with just a few tabs open much tab real estate is dedicated to showing ellipsises, is there no way to view a full tab label w/o closing tabs--that really defeats the whole notion of tab browsing?

I have the same problem with my iPad mini and WiFi manual sync sync from and to iTunes 11. The iPhone4S and iPad2 I also synch the same way work fine. All devices have the same newest version of iOS 6.0.1

I was playing with my ipad settings (it's an older model) and noted in the advanced settings of Safari there was a place to view website databases. When I clicked on this I saw websites. How do these get there and what does the space amount mean?

Can anyone tell me how these get there? Can a website be posted even if it was never went to? What does the space amount mean? For example, 1.5 kb...is this quite a bit? Would it indicate someone has gone to a site multiple times?
I share my ipad with my teenage daughter and I'm trying to find out if she's lying to me. Obviously she's swearing that she has "no idea" how these got there and I'm trying to keep her safe (she's only 14).

Think of your PC and the 'temporary internet folder' where it keeps cached copies of web pages or elements off a web page for 'quicker display the next time you visit'. That's pretty much what that folder is. 1.5K is tiny. Probably just a basic page with some text on it. (you might be confusing 1.5K with 1.5 megabyte....megabyte is large...it's roughly 1000 kilobytes, so the 1.5K is a tiny file)
As far as I know, the only way info gets into that folder is if the browser has been to that site.
if you have a concern there are browsers out there, McGruff is one i've seen recommended, that allow some degree of parental control and supervision. That or you could passcode lock the iPad or enable the restrictions to turn off some parts of the device to have some control.

This is a great question, at least for me. I've often wondered about it. I run Windows on my Mac with Parallels.
I never thought about what you've asked, so I asked Google: "can parallels or vmware run earlier mac os x versions on a later mac os x" without quotes.
Here's the first link that I saw that seemed to be on point:

A quick scan notes two approaches; get a new external drive, or use virtual software like Parallels or VMware. It mentions a no-no about running Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) in a virtualizer, but it goes on to say that 10.6 Server is OK. The article recommends a link to another article that compares VMware vs. Parallels.
The real "trick" might be finding a legal copy of OS X 10.6 SERVER, or 10.5 or earlier.

Quick Look Index View and PDF hidden content

I have come across an odd quirk of Quick Look in which the Index View is different from the regular view. The Quick Look Index View of two or more PDF files will show hidden page or image content, while the regular view of the individual files will not.
The hidden content consists of one portion of the text covered up.
Preview does not show the hidden content of an individual file, but QuickTime does.
Is this inconsistency of Quick Look a bug?

Maybe I was not clear in my initial post. Index.html is not the file I want to see inside Quick Look. Index.html file I'm talking about is part of code BetterZip plugin is using to show Zip content. It is located in the Resource subfolder inside plugin. So my findings are related to html parsing issues Quick Look engine is doing inside plugin.
Once again, I'm not talking about HTML quicklook plugin that is already built-in to show HTML files, but BetterZip plugin that is designed to show compressed file contents (e.g. zip, tar, ...).
Does someone know if there are some changes in the behaviour of Quick Look engine or if there are some bugs in Quick Look engine for Mavericks 10.9.0 that parses internal plugin html contents incorrectly (or to load external html resource files)?

It was usual for me, that in the transaction SE16 don't allow that.

Depends on the setting for "delivery and maintenance" in SE11, should be set to "allowed with restrictions" for the underlying tables of the view. Also check the very good F1 help for this field.

Hi,
You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

One way is to get the GoodReader app. It has a built in web browser that allows you to web surf and download pdfs into GoodReader. You can read them in the GoodReader app or open them in other apps that can read pdfs.

It would help a great deal- I restored my phone from a backup after my iphone crashed- but I had downloaded many apps since then, so now I have to re-download all the missing apps. Thing is I cant remember all of them?

Have you never synced your phone? Syncing puts copies of each app into iTunes for you to manage and have available to sync over when you want.
Other than that, in iTunes, from top menus (forget which one, think under help) you can access your account and then view purchase history.
