Is there a reason for me to buy Acro 10?

Something I sorely need Acrobat to do is not provided in Acrobat 9, and I'm wondering whether Acro 10 can do it. Specifically, I'm continually building multiple long documents with very large numbers of video clips in them, for all of which I want the SAME parameters every time (floating window, stay open forever, etc.).At present (Acro 9) I must enter all the parameters again and again for every single clip. This could be solved if any of the following were true:
- If Acro 10 has a way to enable me to provide these parameters as DEFAULTS so I don't have to re-enter them; or...
- If Acro 10 has a macro language such that I could record a keystroke macro (better yet, enter appropriate commands in an editor) to set all these parms (essentially what the dialogs now do laboriously), where I could just fire it off with a single key combination like Alt+A or whatever.
Would Acro 10's Javascript enable something like this? I've never used it but I've written lots of Javascript for web pages. Do I miss my guess that your Javascript is only for responding to pre-arranged events triggered by the reader of the resulting PDF? I'm talking here about design time.
(Up to now my best solution has been AutoHotkey, a macro language for Windows in general, but I'm hoping you have something built in that's easier. AutoHotkey does not always adapt to particular details of each situation.)
- A partial solution would be if I could do major editing to PDF files after they're built instead of just the puny touch-up function. This is academic writing, which tends to require major editing and re-editing. As it is, I have to get every document nearly perfect before I undertake the laborious process of inserting all the video.

Acrobat 10 doesn't have any different capabilities than 9 that will help you. What's available to JavaScript is very limited and not the type of things you need.

My new (8/2012) iPod Touch: voice control suddenly activates on its own. Is there a reason for this and how do you get it to stop?

Thanks to this digital era; nowadays you can buy and download almost all games from internet. There are several major gaming platforms. Biggest ones are Steam, Uplay, and Origin.
Steam is the biggest digital platform which houses thousands of games in more than 237 countries and in 21 different languages. Uplay started with Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed series and now expands to a much wider range of games. Origin, on the other hand, is (currently) purely for EA games.
You can literally find so many game discounts EVERYDAY on these game platforms. Moreover, every now and then, they have big sales as well. For example, last month Steam had its holiday big sales which had more than 5554 games on sale!

If you own generic games, you will never lose them! You can change as many computers as you like; you can un-install games; you can buy-it-and-forget-it; you can keep games for generation for your grand-children. Those games will always be there waiting for you.
Once you want to put your hands on the games again, you just need to click “DOWNLOAD” button, and the game will alive once again!

Is there a reason why my Ipad keeps saying the connection to the server failed using my mail app but
i can gain entry to my account using Google then Yahoo mail.

It's been buggy at best for quite a while now. I have noticed that it doesn't like some connections, for example my mail simply will not download if I'm on certain AT&T hotspots via the mail app, but works just fine if I access it via safari.
I also had periods of time just this AM when my PC wouldn't even access my mail. IMHO, Yahoo has upgraded their mail to nice pretty barely function.
If it persists too long you can try to uninstall/reinstall your mail account in the mail app (Under settings, mail, contacts and calendar). Or it may simply be your connection or hotspot and it will resolve once you use a different connection.
I believe yahoo mail also has an app but I have no experience with how well it may/may not work

There are no educational discounts on the iPad for individual purchasers. If you buy your iMac and iPad from an independent dealer, though, you may be able to negotiate something, and that may end up being less expensive overall than buying the iMac with Apple's educational discount.

Are there specific reasons for choosing Oracle A/S 10g OVER IBM Websphere ?

Our company runs a number of Oracle applications and currently supports both the IBM Websphere and Oracle
10g A/S application servers. We use Oracle A/S to run Oracle Forms/Reports, as
well as to interface from Oracle Advanced Queues (A/Q) to the outside world
(with JMS over A/Q). The idea being floated is to use Oracle A/S only for our
Forms/Reports server and IBM Websphere for everything else. Is there any
downside to this ?

Would any features of Oracle A/Q not be accessible when using WebSphere ?
We are also planning to use Oracle Workflow. Would there be any advantages to using Oracle A/S over Websphere ?

'Fraid I'm not experienced in running Oracle products with Websphere but I'd have thought that the most obvious reason to use OAS would be that (theoretically at least!) AQ and Oracle Workflow should be better integrated into OAS and also recieve better support from Oracle if you are using OAS as your apps server rather than another vendor's product. The risk is that you might get into a situation where something doesn't work and Oracle say it's Websphere, phone IBM and IBM say it's AQ - phone Oracle.

I am unable to search my history in the Search History feature as when i type a term the history list goes blank labeling "no items." Is there a reason for this and a way i can search my history to find specific sites and content??

When i try to search for specific sites whether to find something or group together a list of sites from the same site, etc, after i type in a term in the Search History box, nothing appears. When i click the empty area it says "no item selected" at the bottom. However i can still search my bookmarks. Just wondering if there's a way to fix this.

Is there any reason for streaming of videos being so slow on iphone 4 ios 6.1.3?

I just want to watch videos in my iphone on our perfectly good wifi network that works with other PCs and devices, but the streaming is so slow so often it slows down to a point where it does not play in the middle of the stream. Please help if you got info as there is no easy helpful anywhere about this?!!

It sounds like you are having issues with videos buffering when your iPhone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network. I recommend troubleshooting this issue with the following steps:
Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.
