Is there a rechargeable plug in battery for ipod?

Hey,
I was just wondering if there is any type of compact (on the small side, not bulky) rechargeable battery for the new 5G ipod w/ video that can plug into the bottom in order to extend playback time? I looked around but couldnt find one. This seems like a product that would really sell so I'm surprised I can't find it anywhere. Thanks for any help.

there is an external battery pack from belkin and it runs off of AA batteries and it is awesom 4 AA gives it about 20 hours of playback time. It is great

No. Apple only sells one cable for the iDevices.
The iDevices will work with a USB port but it will be not faster than a USB 2 port.

Battery for iPod touch 3

Hi...I bought a battery for ipod touch 3 online, and really my bad if won't work. I have a 3rd gen 8gb which is more like the 2nd gen than other 3rd gens. I now see on the ebay ad that this isn't for the itouch 3 gen 8gb but for the 16 and 32 gb. I have read elsewhere that they basically use the same batteries but the battery for the 3 gen w 16 or 32gbs is a little thinner, but both have the same power...I've also seen some sell the same battery for both. Question: do you believe it will work or not...I guess I could return or buy another...but since I have and if anyone knows it will work, then I would not bother...Any advice welcome. Thanks, Rick

If you're that uncertain about the replacement part itself, it's probably not a good idea for you to replace the battery yourself. Return it.

Is there such a thing as an extra battery for Ipod video

I am planning a long plane trip next year and I keep toying with buying a video ipod but the 3 hour (for watching videos) or so battery life is making my decision towards the no side. I am wondering if there is an external battery that is worth the money that will give me a long life so I can keep myself entertained for many hours.

Sure there are many plug in external power packs you can buy. Some are rechargeable units themselves while others simply use common (AA, AAA, 9V) batteries and give a univeral 5V USB output. Here is one such example...

The replacement battery for Ipod nano true or false

I was tryin to figure out if it was true that you can't replace your battery in an Ipod nano unless you have good sodering skills or unless you send it in and replace it. Because I bought a third party replacement battery for my Ipod Nano, and it gave me the instructions to the normal Ipod. Then I saw a lot of discussion posts saying that you can replace the battery for an Ipod Nano, so I need to know if you can or can't.

If you Google search for it, you can probably find instructions (with pictures) on how to do it. Basically, you need to use something (such as a tiny flathead screwdriver or a putty knife) to separate the plastic front case from the aluminum back case. Then, you can disconnect the battery that's inside of it and connect your new battery. Most third party iPod batteries recommend charging it completely before first use.
It is, however, easier to send your iPod in for service for a battery issue, and just have them replace your iPod for you.

To my knowledge, you don't need any exceptional soldering skills. I've replaced batteries in some older iPods, and needed nothing but a tiny flathead screwdriver that I use to do general maintenance on my saxophone.

No, as apple saind in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod touch.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

You probably don't need an update if your iPod is slower than it once was. Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If you try restoring from a backup and that doesn't fix the problem, try restoring to factory settings and, if the problem goes away, then synching your apps. You'll lose the app data and settings, but if the problem is due to a corrupt cache or settings file, that should cure it.

Is there an equivalent of COCONUT battery for Panther USERS?

I've saved a lot to buy my PB a new battery, and I want the most out of it as much as possible. I've been hearing about this COCOBattery that enables US to determine the number of cycles that the battery had already been charged/discharged (not sure) and some other stuffs for battery maintenance. I wonder if there was anything like this for PANTHER? Coz from my search, it is only for TIGERS.
On top of all these, I would like to make sure if APPLE JAPAN, has sold me a good battery. Since it has a 1 year warranty, I could use the time to really figure out if the battery serves its factory specifications, and I need an equivalent of that COCOBattery for my Panther. Thanks!

You may have read Apple's note on maintaining notebook batteries already, which is at http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html. Note that Apple says a properly maintained battery should retain 80% of it's capacity after 300 charge/discharge cycles.

I'm going on an 11 hour plane ride. My iPod 80GB may last 6 hours (movie watching). I did a seat search for airplane and there is not an outlet near my seat to recharge iPod. Is there an external battery or something that can be used on long trips so I can continue to watch movies?<

Is there a Illustrator plug in (CS4) for cleaning up/smoothing out paths fast?

I want to clean up some vector's paths quickly, removing nodes and making the paths smoother. Does anyone know
of a plug in for cs4 or CS6 that I can purchase or download that will help clean up my vectors faster without manually doing it myself?

The VectorScribe plugin has a Smart Remove Point function which could be useful, though it still involves manually selecting unnecessary points. It's much more useful than Illustrator's Simplify which almost always distorts the path.

New Battery for iPod 4G Will Not Charge

My current iPod 4G 20GB battery now only holds a charge for about 45 minutes, so I went and bought a replacement battery, a "Energizer Apple iPod 4G" or ER-APPLEFGEN which is compatible with the 616-0183 battery.
I connect my iPod via firewire to my XP machine.
I left the iPod connected over night and in the morning it still said charging. I disconnected it and it was dead, no charge what so ever. I tried re-setting and reformatting the iPod, but still no charge. I plugged back in my old one to see if I damaged something in opening the case, and it worked fine.
Is it possible this new battery is a dud, or are there some special steps I need to take to get a NEW battery charged?

I think the topic says it all... Why is this only reserved to iPhone users?!

But all in all I am completely satisfied with the new major release!

Numerical battery is just something reserved for iphone. I guess it is more important to know if your phone is going to die in case of emergency than if your ipod touch is going to die. The ipod touch has never had numerical battery

If they are in the iPod' Saved Photos album then:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
If they were synced to the iPod you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or PhoneView
