Is there a restock date on the Zen Vision M Black MP3 player from Creat

I just ordered a Zen Vision M Black through the Creative site directly (4/23/06), and I was wondering if anyone knows about how long it's going to take to get back into stock (it's listed as backordered). I emailed Creative long before I bought the item, and I haven't received a response yet. If anyone has heard anything, I'd love to hear it.
Also, let me know if I made the right decision. I'm upgrading from a 20GB Zen touch that I love, because the Vision M has more storage, and video.

  • Is there a known bug with the zen vision;m and usb internet adapt

    i bought the zen m yesterday. i've down loaded it onto my pc.
    audible wont sync to it. the creative firmware updater wont update it keeps saying its not connected.
    Windows media player synced to it ( the only thing thats gone right so far lol )
    and worst of all every time i plug in the unit via usb. if i unplug the unit my netgear usb WPNT2 stops recieving all 802. signals until the driver explodes taking the system down with it. or i manual reboot.
    whats going on?
    i'm thinking i should have gotten a Zune, and if i can't resolve this i'm going to have to take this back.
    i put the zen on my laptop and xbox 360 and it works fine. it runs a pcmcia adaptor.
    my desktop is a media center rollup 2 everything up todate. my netgear drivers are uptodate. i dont know whats going on here.Message Edited by paladin238 on 2-02-200604:24 PM

  • What is the best Mp3 player from Creat

    Good forum members,
    i am looking for a mp3 player with a good fm radio too. That can receive good radio stations.

    Best? It depends what your needs are, and what your budget is. For me, I prefer using a player that is powered by a AAA or AA battery, and I carry at least one spare battery. For me the most important thing is not to be without power when I want to listen to my player. For others, a larger storage capacity is more important. Do you want to view photos or video on your player? The players with the largest storage capacity(perhaps 8 gigs or more?) use a hard dri've. Those with a smaller storage capacity use flash memory(except some old models). I would not even consider a player that uses a hard dri've since a hard dri've can easily be damaged by the shock of dropping it, or by vibration.

  • Is there any way to get a Zen Vision:M on a M

    I'm switching over to a Mac, and although i'll still have my PC, it will just be easier to use my Zen on my Mac. Is there any way to get the Zen Vision:M to work on a Mac? 3rd party software maybe? Any suggestions?

    im very dissapointed in the creative mp3 players. i brought one last month was inpressed with it, that it played my music well. battery good on it and the sound is great, then i thought Oooo it would be nice to get a docking station with speakers on the side.
    so here i go down my elecrial shop ( currys, Argos, comet, asda) they all say fits ipods, mp3 player.i was like ok cool
    So take my mp3 player with me to see if thy fit in the docking, ohhh no. none of them fit, there all FIT IPODS!!! OH **bleep** GOD (sorry about that)
    even tho on the packaging it says fits all mp3, Well hellllloooo it dont, only fits ipods.
    so got me mad as it be nice to have bit music in back ground playing games or chatting etc...
    so i was thinking here i am wasted nearly £100 pounds on a mp3 player and no docking station with speaker that fits it..

  • Data Recovery Software for the Zen Vision M

    Data Recovery Software for the Zen Vision M:
    Has anyone had any success recovering lost sound files from a Vision M, with software, physical repair services, or otherwise? Does anyone claim to be able to recover information from these devices?
    The data recovery programs I have tried fail to recognize the dri've, since it doesn't show up in list of dri'ves for some reason (Is there a way to make this show up?). Any suggestions/ recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I lost over a year of recordings after an unexpected forced reformatting. How would one even go about finding someone for this job?
    Thanks, GW

    Haven't really tried the data recovery so I would like to know more about this one too.

  • There is no data in the partitioned  tablespace?

    I am creating a new partition table like this:
    create table PART_TABLE
    eid number(10),
    ename varchar2(30),
    hiredate date,
    jdate date,
    pdate date
    nologging
    parallel
    partition by range(hiredate)
    partition par_new1 values less than
    (to_date('01-JAN-2009','DD-MON-YYYY'))
    tablespace PART_MOHAN,
    partition par_new2 values less than
    (to_date('01-JAN-2010','DD-MON-YYYY'))
    tablespace PART_MOHAN2
    Now,there is no data in the Partitioned table.
    Now, i am inserting rows into the table.
    But, rows are inserting into the table not in the partition tablespaces.
    I checked the used space and free space of tablespaces, there is no change in size after inserting the row also.
    But, when i check the table, rows have inserted into the table.
    But, i dont know , in which tablespace these data are stored. How to find out that?
    SQL> INSERT INTO part_table values(1,'MohanaKr','01-JAN-2008','01-JAN-2009','01-JAN-2009');
    1 row created.
    SQL> /
    1 row created.
    SQL> /
    1 row created.
    SQL> /
    1 row created.
    SQL> commit;
    Commit complete.
    SQL> select count(*) from part_mohan;
    COUNT(*)
    4
    SQL> select * from part_table;
    EID ENAME HIREDATE JDATE PDATE
    1 MohanaKr 01-JAN-08 01-JAN-09 01-JAN-09
    1 MohanaKr 01-JAN-08 01-JAN-09 01-JAN-09
    1 MohanaKr 01-JAN-08 01-JAN-09 01-JAN-09
    1 MohanaKr 01-JAN-08 01-JAN-09 01-JAN-09
    But,
    SQL> select PARTITION_NAME,TABLESPACE_NAME,num_rows from dba_tab_partitions where table_name='PART_MOHAN';
    PARTITION_NAME TABLESPACE_NAME NUM_ROWS
    PAR_NEW1 PART_MOHAN
    PAR_NEW2 PART_MOHAN2

    Firstly, the NUM_ROWS column is populated by statistics gathering. It is not a true realtime accurate of the number of rows in the table but at a point in time. Secondly, try something like the following if you want to see the row count per partition:
    1* select partition_name from dba_tab_partitions where table_name = 'SALES' an
    d table_owner = 'SH'
    PARTITION_NAME
    SALES_1995
    SALES_1996
    SALES_H1_1997
    SALES_H2_1997
    SALES_Q1_1998
    SALES_Q1_1999
    SALES_Q1_2000
    SALES_Q2_1998
    SALES_Q2_1999
    SALES_Q2_2000
    SALES_Q3_1998
    SALES_Q3_1999
    SALES_Q3_2000
    SALES_Q4_1998
    SALES_Q4_1999
    SALES_Q4_2000
    16 rows selected.
    SQL> select count(*) from sh.sales;
    COUNT(*)
    1016271
    SQL> select count(*) from sh.sales partition(sales_q4_2000);
    COUNT(*)
    74736

  • Is there a retirement date for the CS6 certification exams?

    Is there a retirement date for the Adobe Photoshop CS6, Indesign CS6 & Illustrator CS6 exams? If so, when will Adobe retire these exams?(Not the recertification exams. I don't have any previous certification with Adobe.)

    Looking to write the exam sometime during the next two years. Yes, I know the subjects are about a month long but will be working and can't study everyday. Most likely will only do two to three chapters a month.(my work is that hectic).
    Hope they won't retire it any time soon! I know updates comes out every year. just have to take my chances.

  • Windows 7 64 bit driver for the Zen Vision M?

    - Where EXACTLY can I find the Windows 7 64-bit driver for the Zen Vision M? My new computer came with it installed in Windows Media Player 2, but the driver became corrupt. I can't seem to find that driver on the Creative or Microsoft download websites. Please Help!

    The driver is nati've to Windows. Creative does not write the MTP driver. I would suggest re-install WMP2 or contact Microsoft for advice if it is corrupt. As for software to use the player on a 64 Win 7system? there is nothing for the Vision M. You may want to read this page? http://support.creative.com/KB/showarticle.aspx?sid=605&h=3

  • What has changed in the Playlist Creation on the Zen Vision:M compared to the older Ze

    Hi, I have a Zen Micro for a year now. It works flowlessly and I have have a lot of good time with it. But yes , there ist now the Zen Vision:M (sadly :-)).
    I have read that the way to create a playlist on the vision:M is somewhat different compared to the Zen Micro for example. Can somebody explain what has been changed. In the review was said that it is more advances , but it is not as friendly as it it on the older Zens.
    And one more thing: is the radio reception on the vision:m really a lot better than on the Micro? ( is was said in the article I read, just can't figure out where it was...) I really anticipated to be able to listen to radio with the micro, but hier in Hamburg (Germany) I can get a relati'vely clear reception of just TWO senders (from time to time). This is the point where the Micro dissapoints (my opinion ofcourse).
    Thank you!Message Edited by plam_mk on 02-04-2006 02:38 PM

    Hi Wupperbayer,
Viele Gr?e
    Hi guys, I will translate in a concise manner the obove writing. I aksed whether I can take a movie. convert it propely and play it on the player. And that is not all: I just want to get most of the information from the picture as I do it on he PC, read very good quality. I have also hoped, that the possibility to add a song to every playlist, not just the one that is being played, would become a reality. But one very important thing however, is that the radio reception have been improved.

  • Does the Zen Vision:M

    Does the Zen Vision:M have the capability to play pod casts or can only Ipods play podcasts?

    That wierd, I've had two Zen Vision M's and they've both came with AC?adapters. I just recently went on a vacation where I was listeing to my ZVM alot in the hotel and on the long dri'ves along the country side. Theres no way my Zen Vision would have made it a whole week if I had not had my AC adapter.If they really wanted to cut back on the freebies they could have kept that stupid pouch and those useless MP3s that come preloaded onto the player. But the AC Adapter was essentional to the functionality of the player.
