Is there a screensnap app which uses date/time as the filename?

I'm looking for a simple screensnap app which uses the current date/time as the filename... e.g. 010220120500 or something similar.

Ah... automator... the ******* step-child of the OS. Forgot about that one. I checked out your link and ran up against a barrier. I can make a sequential workflow, a date/time workflow in day/month/year and a couple other variations... but not a truly sequential day/date/year/hour/minute/second non-repeating workflow. Oddly enough I can make a hour/min/sec workflow but that would not absolutely define the file and could create duplicate filenames.
I've looked over a lot of these screensnap apps and haven't found one that can do a non-repeating (thru system on/off sequences) filenaming thing. Maybe it can't be done.
Automator was a good idea and it was fun using it again. Thanks Jeff.

2. I'd like to define a local field and need to use dates in the calculation function. When i am trying to add Custom Code App in solution manager, i get an error 'There is no app which can be added to this dashboard'. I could not find any info on how to fix this error.
Does you have any idea on this error?

Hi Sai,
the CCLM dashboards before SP12 are filled from the old CCL infocube.
With SP12 there is a new CCL cube that delivers the data into the ICI cubes.
Here comes one example how to work with the new dashboards, example: customer objects per system. Go to the dashboard section in CCLM first.
Go to ICI Input measures:
Push directly next and go to the second screen –push change and chose KPI total #custom objects --> push add series and add a name for clas and func --> add:
Sorry, next picture should show CLAS and not FUNC when adding the object type on the right side ... but you will figure it out... I took a wrong screen shot it seems ...
Go out and refresh CCLM - you should see the new types now per system. Aslo you could set up goals that you could monitor. These new dashboards are more flexible.

Just updated to i0s 5 on my ipad2. Some of the apps that use to be on the ipad are nolonger there. If i go into itunes on my desktop compter they appear there. How do I get them to transferr to my i pad 2?

IOS5 upgrade wipes your iPad disk. When you re-sync to your computer, you should get all of the apps that are checked under the Apps page in iTunes.

You can put an app in a folder, but that's all you can do unless it's one of the bundled apps that can be turned off in the Restrictions settings.

Synology has apps to access their NAS systems. Wouldn't it make sense for Apple to have an app for Apple iOS devices to connect to Apple Time Capsules?

It would, if Apple wanted you to do this. But, they don't, since there would already be an Apple App for this if they did. I assume that you already know about FileBrowser here, which is not an Apple App.
So you might want to tell Apple what you want, rather than have them tell you what you want.

Is there a autosave app for snow leopard kinda like the autosave for lion? Since I do alot of illustrator and photoshop design I would love to have this feature.

None that I've seen. It would do no good to upgrade your OS to Lion either since Adobe has opted to ignore Apple's Autosave/Versions function. Even in the CS6 apps. In order for any app to work with Autosave/Version in Lion, it has to be written to use those functions. It isn't just "there" all the time for all apps.

I am working in a new enviorment and i am trying to save a report to the Crystal Server via the CMC. I am uploading the report from the objects tab and attempting to save to a folder. The report has 1 static defined parameter and that's it. When i click submit to save the report i receive the following error message: "There was an error while writing data back to the server: Failed to commit objects to server : Duplicate object name in the same folder." There is not a anothe report within the folder with that name. What could be causing this error message and equally important, what is the solution.

hte message you received about duplicate user probably means something hadn't fully updated yet. Once it did then it worked...

Same happened here on my iphone 4. I heard it's something about bad meta data in the music files but I've no idea. It seems to be fixed by deleting the music from the iphone and then syncing it back on. No need to reset so far luckily!

VL66 is used for deleting temporary inbound deliveries that have been marked with the deletion flag in the database, the temporary deliveries should have the deletion flag selected in the database, but i want to delete the normal inbound delivery without deletion flag now, is there any other solutions? I am a Chinese student,I am doing some research on OLAP.
I'm in the initial stages of evaluating BI Beans for my research. We have previously not used Oracle in house.
In attempting to use BI Beans, the first thing you must do is install the latest patches against the Oracle database. Unfortunately, the patches are only available for people with a suport contract.
Is there any way I can get these patches without a support contract, or is there any way I can use bi beans without the patches?

Try Amazon but look for the iWork suite of software. It's only sold separately as Pages, Keynote, and Numbers from the App Store.

Why can't I sync my facebook invitations to my iCal? My Mac Mail won't detect the date/time on the email anymore.

I have been trying to sync my facebook invitations to my iCal and no longer able to do this through my Mac Mail. When I would receive a facebook invitaiton through my comcast email, I used to be able to hover my mouse over the date/time of the invitation and then I could easily "Add to iCal" or "See Date in iCal", but am no longer able to do so. I can still add other invitations, just not the facebook invitations. Any ideas?

You can get your photos off your phone. If they are all in Camera Roll just import them to your new computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). If some of them were synced to your iphone from your computer (i.e., in photo library) just use an app like PhotoSync and send them to your new computer wirelessly. For that matter, you can sync your phone with your new computer without losing your data and settings if you carefully follow this guide: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141. Your only issue will be non-purchased music on your phone which is not in your new iTunes library, which will require 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer from your phone to iTunes (or you will have to rip you CDs again to import them).
