Is there a script for this?

Hello,
I have a 176 page pdf that has black type throughout, a lot of those pages also have boxes filled with black. I need to change the boxes to rich black but leave the type black only. I tried using actions but it changes both since they have the same fill. I posted this on the creating and editing forum and got no reply, so I'm assuming it may not be possible. Is there possibly a script to do this?
And if there is could someone talk me through using it. I've used scripts in Indesign but have no clue how to apply them in acrobat.
I'm on a Mac using Acrobat 9 Pro.

Sorry it has taken me a bit to get back to you. I work for a printing company and don't always get time to "play around" with things.
I did try your suggestion of color convert with no good results. The boxes and the type have the same fill color and selecting any object
or line art would also change the type. Also tried changing just the type and both change. Not sure why.

Is there a script for changing layer names in ID CS4?

I have multiple documents with an average of 20 layers in each. Each of the layers is named for the expiration date of the coupon in the ads. When a new order comes in I retrieve the previous files and change the dates via scripts and the Find/Change option. I have looked but cannot find a way to rename the dates in the layers as well.
Does anyone know of a script for this?

Is there a script for an audio controller linked to an embedded swf?

Is there a script for an audio player or controller that has some functions like play resume stop for an embedded swf file? I would use buttons for this purpose but for some reason, when I click on the pause button on the pdf, and then click on resume, playback resumes five seconds before the point at which I paused. And i would prefer to rely on just using the built in player in the pdf but the quicktime player doesn't play the swf smoothly; it freezes.

I am having a similar problem. I have over 4000 songs giving me this error. I certainily don't want to go in one by one and find them. I know you wrote a script for Windows but I am a Mac user. Is there a fix for me? Here is the info on where the song is currently (used by doing the get info)

Then I find the music there as well. (Which is where it is in my preferences.)

Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have you been through any, if not all of these troubleshooting steps yet?

I have no proof, but I think it will not work with an adapter, only Mini Display Port or Thunderbolt.

Printopia is another option but be aware that since these solutions effectively act as a print server and AirPrint receiver, they require a computer to be running on the same WiFi network.
Canon also has a couple of apps in the App Store that might facilitate this on non-AirPrint printers. Check out...

Upgraded to Lion & can no longer finger swipe for/backwards between pages. Is there a fix for this?

Title says it all. I just upgraded to Mac OS X Lion, and can no longer use a finger swipe, whether one or 2 fingered, to move backwards an forwards between pages. I can still do so in Safari, but not in Firefox 5.01, my preferred browser, any longer. Doesn't matter if I try using one, two or more fingers

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.
